Hey there, it's the Byrdman coming at you on this rocking Monday! I hope that you all are well, and that life is treating you all well as our week commences.

I was just thinking about this topic over the past week. I was wondering how Cold Case was doing in the ratings this season. (I hope I am not stealing TVFan's thread here - sorry if so!) But I saw that we got off to a bit of a bad start with the season premiere. It did not crack the Top 20 in the Neilsen's this past week. The only place that I ever saw have anything on the Season Premiere's ratings was TVBythenumbers.com - here is a link to the ratings on the night of the season premiere - you will need to scroll down to see Cold Case's spot in the 10:00 PM and 10:30 PM slot:

And on this same site I saw that ratings jumped a bit last night, here is a link to the Week 2 episode ratings last night (you will need to scroll down to the 10:00 PM slot to see Cold Case's numbers, I'm not sure if there was a football overrun last night too) -

Last week was delayed by football, and I also don't like 10pm as well..

That's what happens when it moved to 10pm, I wish it was back at 9pm; but what can I say. At least it didn't get cancelled.

According to the FutonCritic:

Compared to last week's season premiere, COLD CASE was up +5% in both households (6.4/11 from 6.1/11) and adults 18-49 (2.2/06 from 2.1/06), +15% in adults 25-54 (3.1/07 from 2.7/07) and added +860,000 viewers (10.05m from 9.19m, +9%).

So, the finale numbers are 9.19 millions viewers for the premiere and 10.05 (#25) for the last one, it's not that bad.

I predict Three Rivers will get canceled and Cold Case will move back to its 9 p.m slot, which will increase the viewers. As for it's current timeslot...no shocker the ratings have gone down. If nothing else, CBS football delays everything, and no one is going to stay up an extra 15 to 30 mins (other than us) trying to guess when it will be on when they have work or kids etc.

Well it's not bad but it's just called lower ratings, but " New adventures of old christine" comes on a different day and time, you can compare it to CC which is on sunday at 10pm. Hopefully the ratings will improve.

This is just my humble opinion, but I think everyone needs to wait a little while before some of us declare that Cold Case is doomed. If any show is doomed, it'd be 3 Rivers.
