The 13mil is runoff, a domino effect from NCAA basketball going over, bumping into 60 Minutes' time - thus making all the other shows run over. It's basically Undercover Boss' numbers that are being reported. It'll be nearly impossible to distinguish what CC's actual numbers are because only the West Coast aired CC at 10pm. However, Cold Case has been showing a 5% increase each week since 3 Rivers was canceled.

I would have thought maybe the Mountain time as well as Central time showed CC on time.

Since I didn't stay up I don't know the exact time it aired but it appears it was just the East coast off it's schedule. Any East coasters remember what time it began? Was it 10:50 pm as CBS announced earlier in the evening?

I don't know exactly how the Nielson numbers are broken down or when Mtn time aired CC. I only know that CC aired at 10pm on the West Coast. (I heard some East Coast areas aired CC after the news but it's just hearsay) It usually takes a day or more to unwind all the overlap. If I stumble across the actual numbers I'll report what I find.

Wow... it's been a couple of seasons since the numbers were that high... hopefully that will help keep it for another season. The highest rated episode of Season 6 was The Brush Man with 13.7 million I think.

The press release came out about an hour ago. These numbers look more like CC's recent ratings. CBS's top programs of the week: #3 NCIS (an average of 18.00m viewers), #4 NCIS: LOS ANGELES (15.10m), #5 UNDERCOVER BOSS (14.47m), #6 THE GOOD WIFE (13.40m), #7 60 MINUTES (13.28m), #8 TWO AND A HALF MEN (R) (12.70m), #9 THE AMAZING RACE (11.99m), #10 THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) (11.67m), #13 CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY 4 (S) (10.29m), #15 COLD CASE (9.43m), #17 CSI: MIAMI (R) (8.96m), #18 CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENING THURSDAY 1 (S) (8.90m), #19 CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENING THURSDAY 2 (S) (8.88m), #21 CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENING FRIDAY 1 (S) (8.56m),#22 CBS NCAA BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENING FRIDAY 2 (S) (8.22m), #25 CRIMINAL MINDS (R) (7.74m), #26 RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (7.70m) and #30 CSI: NY (R) (7.46m). www.thefutoncritic.com/news.aspx?id=20100323cbs03Should've known 13 million was too good to be true.

Looks like the ratings went up again this week. From a 2.6 to a 2.8 and 9.6 mil viewers to 10.2 mil.
I would really like to see CC get a 3.0 share by season's end. I also wouldn't mind if CBS cancelled Medium and put CC on Friday after Ghost Whisperer. Not that I watch GW, but any continuation of CC is good.

Looking back over the 8 pm time slot for the Amazing Race. AR had the same viewer ship that Cold Cast has in the 10 pm slot. When Cold Case had the 8 pm slot they averaged over 15 million. Interesting yet AR is being advertised on CBS website as the main show to tune into even though AR is not a finale this evening.

If that was really the SERIES finale then I am very upset about the figurative "kiss off" fans were given. NO decent closure, no DVD, no proper "goodbye" to the 11 million plus fans who never missed an episode. Then again imagine how the stars feel.
