Well, they said that it wen't up 5% so thats good. Maybe that's because of Amazing race finale or maybe because of earlier hour and CC starting (almost) on time. We'll see next episode's rating. Hopefully (I'm not a person of God but I actually prayed, weard what CC can do to me) rating will slowly go up and there will be a S8.

The true test will be after football ends in January. That's when the rating kick last year happened as well.

The Amazing Race Finale was 11.980. Not even close to the numbers Cold Case used to get in the 8 pm time slot. And CC jumped 5% at the 9 pm slot! It would be nice for viewers to rely on what show is airing at 9 pm! Now I realize I shouldn't complain but CBS was too money hungry to begin with with this series. The show was doing just fine in the 8 pm time slot and they weren't happy and as a result they have had to settle for even less viewer ship as a result of their choices these past several years. So. let's keep our fingers crossed that CC does better at 9 pm. *wishes they would move it to it's rightful spot on Sunday night at 8 pm* ;D |

Hi byrdman! I'd say CBS has positioned Cold Case for the 9 pm slot for December but will be looking at it more closely in January - February to see how it does fare. (At least that's how I view it) I don't think December's ratings are a good measure. A lot of people are busy with the holidays and such plus you have to give the show a chance to be advertised in the time slot change.   |

Exactly, that's what saved it last year.. The ratings went up after January. Of course, when football ends, that's when it really be the test.

Yeah, I agree that it seems to be a move to boost the ratings until the winter hiatus ends. And December's ratings may not be a good measure - people are obviously busy with the holidays and all. But I'm just keeping up my thread and am keeping up with new ratings - just trying to cover the upswing that will hopefully save our favorite show for S8, you know? Hey ninja. How's it going, bud? Yeah, I agree that when football ends may come the true test as to whether the show gets another season. But just fyi, the football season will extend into February on CBS - they have Super Bowl 44. |

Well this week they made it up and just ove 10 mil. thats great. I think thats the highest rating this season. Lets hope things improve from here on!
