Scotty's face always says more than a million words. I was particularly startled by the look on his face in the screencap that features Lil, Saccardo, and Scotty at the coffee shop. It was just...wow. Go check it out in the screencap thread (Fan Art and Video).
I also watched the ending montage again; he was the only one who didn't seem too impressed by Lilly's salt shaker trick. Although, to be fair, I was far more impressed by Vera's Tupperware in the fridge.

Anybody notice the contrast this week in how Scotty responded to Kat's blind date? He was friendly, supportive, and encouraging, three things he has not been toward Saccardo. Interesting, no?

Definitely a different attitude...with Kat it was a real friendship "go for it" moment. I really liked it. Scotty was caring, joking and not jealous a bit. With Lilly, it almost seems like unresolved tension, just her face when she heard Kat was calling him while drunk, priceless ;-) Maybe a tad jealousy there on her side? |

good point abou the whole blind date thing. it would be awesome if lilly and scotty ended up together...and maybe they will. But wouldn't it be kind of awkward since they work together and they've been such good friends, like brother and sister, for so long?

*deeeeeep sigh as lsr cracks her knuckles* HELLO MY PRETTIES!!!! Before I begin my post, I should warn that it is nearing 4am here and I may or may not be coherent. lol. Good LORD, how long has it been since I've been here??? I've missed you all so very much! How the hell IS everyone?  !!!!!! It's lovely to see that this thread has not disappeared completely in my absence! And oooooh looky, I'm back just in time for November sweeps!!!  Will we see a shirtless Scotty in the future you ask? Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe. JUST maaaaaaaaaybe. I'll get back to you shortly. (and yes, it's the same one that's been in the works for hm, 6 months (?) lol) So, it would take much too long to explain where I've been all this time (so I won't  ) but now that I am back, there is OH so much to discuss!!! I must confess that I arrived back home a week ago but had not had a chance to watch all the new CC's that had aired, so I wanted to wait until I did before coming online *holy run-on sentence batman*...and for the record, I want to marry TiVo. Or Danny. Or both. I am enjoying several aspects of the new season so far. I mean, sure, L&S are still moving at a snail's pace but we're moving nevertheless. Turtle and the hare people. TURTLE AND THE HARE! And I daresay there may just be that twinge of jealousy we predicted on Scotty's behalf! Though it is not as prominent as I believe Scotty FEELS, we were given a few scenes where he truly seemed to dislike the effect BizarroScotty was having on Lilly. Anyone else get that impression? (Forgive me if you've already discussed this, I haven't read through your posts as yet!) My favourite scene has to be the car scene for L&S. Many MANY things were left unsaid if you ask me.  But alas, as I mentioned, it is almost 4am ...oh..wait...check that it IS 4am so I think I'll wait to continue this post when both of my eyes are open. I hope everyone is doing well! I missed you cellogal! And I am in serious. fanfiction. withdrawal. I can't wait to catch up! See you all soon!! |

Ok so I just saw a preview for tonight's eppy - Lilly looks emotional. Could she maybe FINALLY be dealing with her feelings about her mother's death? Maybe? Just a little bit? I haven't read spoilers yet but I'm so wishing they would have her take a moment to reflect already! She's like the definition of 'ticking time bomb'.
