I just thought of an interesting point last night. What if Scotty only had a relationship with Christina so he could find out a little more about Lilly? It sounds a bit of a stretch, but IDK, maybe you guys think so too!  |

Yikes I think thats worse. No romance in that. I would die if a guy hooked up with my sister to find out more about me. That is a major turnoff and quite gross. IMO.

What if Scotty only had a relationship with Christina so he could find out a little more about Lilly? As pealee says that would be creepy. A better way of looking at might that Scotty took the opportunity during his time with Christina to learn about Lilly so he could better understand her. Having not got very far with talking to her directly about personal stuff, could find out things through Christina. An alternative idea is this: Christina has a history of taking things from Lilly, guys at least. Perhaps she saw something the chance of something between Lilly and Scotty and stole him in a pre-emptive strike. Being kind about it, she actually prevented anyone getting hurt this time because there was nothing going on. |

Sorry for the double post, but I had to bring this back from the dead. Hmm....what to say...... *nervous type of loud* So, how about that........idk.......... Oh, forget that. I'm not wearing my brain today. Now, on a serious and un-like lolgirlyy note I just think that they would be awsome together. I don't have the brains to come up with some sort of witty reasoning or an extremely long post of shipper moments, since the only complete season I have seen is 5. I've only seen less than half of all the candy-like shipper moments that you guys all talk about. But I am a shipper anyway. Why? Because they have chemistry. And Scotty knows stuff about her that no one else knows. And he gets under her skin. Those are the reasons I have. *montage-ish music starts to play* I'm not smart, or clever, or anything like you guys. I'm just me, and me=shipper. So, can't we all just be nice to each other? Non-shippers can co-exist with shippers and we can discuss like civilized gentlemen/ladies. Over tea and biscuts. ^ Okay, that last one was a little more like me. But seriously. And, I know I'm a little late with this, because all that stuff was resolved, but I just wanted to be heard. *half-smile* So let's just all.........ship. (  ) Now things are probably going to be a little awkward....  I'll stop now, lol.  |

Ok... That was really unclear.. I've got an idea! I love the Lil' and the Ray . Ray is so awesome and so different of Lilly. He makes Lilly do exciting things, which is good to get her out of work. ;D But Scotty and Lilly are just cute together. So Lilly dumps anyone she's dating now (I'm not really up-to-date  ) and hooks up with tough Ray. Dates him for the rest of the serie and has a great time. But.. at the end Ray does something terrible to her and she has no other choice than letting him go. She's very, very sad and cries out in the arms of cute tiny Scotty. And in the very last episode they... *pampampampaaaaam* KISS! ;D ;D Isn't it great? I'm gonna send it to the writers! |

You know what I think? I think in last nights episode, Scotty seemed j.e.a.l.o.u.s. when Lilly was talking about Saccardo, cause he was all whiny and defensive and mumbly when he said "I was in Narcotics, too.........."

My best friend throughout most of my dating years was a guy, and whenever I started dating someone new, my friend definitely didn't react to the news the way Scotty did. That scene amused me.

It seems pretty clear from the CC team that the Scotty/Lilly thing won't happen. My take is that Scotty, like a friend or older brother, is going to disapprove of practically anyone Lilly is involved with. The boots thing was him attempting to belittle Eddie. Lilly brushed it aside. Scotty followed that up saying that he was in narcotics and they he didn't wear boots like that, thereby pointing the finger back at Eddie as being odd. Lilly's disapproving look meant "what are talking about?" |

'nough about me more about Scotty and Lilly...
I think they would be very good for each other, I understand the whole brother like comments but some love just blossom in friendship first and who said they were not attracted to each other at the beginning? It's easier to jump into something with somebody you are just attracted to than with somebody you also connect (reference here to Scotty hitting at I forgot her name who stayed just a few episodes with the team)...
The Christina thing: very hard to overcome, so hard that I do think that the writers will not go there, but who knows they might surprise us ;-)
When the CC team is mentioned - do you refer to the actors, the characters or to the writers?
Ok back to my fanfiction characters, at least those ones I somehow control them (or try to)

Welcome  I was referring to the writers and producers, the creators. I think Kathryn has talked about Scotty and Lilly's brother-sister relationship before as well. Will you be posting any of your stories here? I know there are plenty of people here that would like to read some of your work. |

I don't mind Lilly being with Eddie right now as long as Scotty is saved for the end. I actually don't want Lil and Scotty to be together right now, because Lilly will probably screw the relationship up. I don't want it till the last scene of the last episode of the last season. That way we'll know that it won't get messed up. So I'm probably the only one that is a Scilly and a Leddie at the same time........ |

Hi. *waves hand shyly* I'm new. I just joined the forum yesterday. I'm going to come right out and say it: My name is TanyaReed, and I am a shipper. There, it's out. *phew* I am a definite, unshakeable Scotty/Lilly shipper. Like lolgirlyy, I don't want them to get together until around the end of the show, but I'm all for (and love) fan fiction that has them getting together in the present, the past, and the future. From the above, I see that this isn't exactly a popular opinion. Still, I hope all you non-shippers won't think ill of me. I'm pretty new on the Cold Case front. I've been watching occasional episodes during the summers for years, but it's only over the past month or so that it's become my main TV obsession. P.S. I kind of thought Scotty's reaction seemed like jealousy too. At least, that will be my take on it if I ever write fic about it. Glad to be here! The forum seems like a great place to talk about a great show. |
