Oh thank you TVFan! I hope there are more Fast Forwards and I guess I don't mind the Yield once I saw it in action. I wonder what the new thing will be?
I have to go find a tape and get it in and ready because I like to tape the premier in case I want to go back!

Warning, post contains spoilers about last night's premiere... * * * * * * * * * ICELAND!! That was so cool to see! Jonathan is already on my last nerve, so I'm hoping he and Victoria get eliminated next. Why does he have to be so nasty to his wife? I understand that these groups are thrown into tremendously stressful situations, but even Colin wasn't this nasty this soon. It was amazing how the two roommates (Meredith and Maria) were forced to go back an hour and a half (so, that's 3 hours roundtrip, right?), and still managed to not get eliminated. They must have been really ahead of some of the other teams when that happened. Next week looks interesting. It seems the teams are starting to breakdown already and it's only week two!

Yea some have short fuses. Kinda funny. Meredith and Maria weren't really even trying to read the map...just following others around. Amazing they made it to camp. Did you notice at the tent camp other bigger tents among the smaller tents. I'm supposing they were tents to provide food? I'll have to go see if there is any info on that. I think that was a great idea to make them stay in the tent all night! clever! I only got to watch the first 65 minutes and then I put it on tape. My tape quality is very shaky and I've yet to watch the last of it so I don't know who lost. I'll try to catch up on it. Here's the link if you want to take a look at the players: www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race6/

Hi Eurache!
I'm glad Maria and her pal were the last to arrive. What a pair. There seems to be much short fuses this season. The older couple--well I wonder if they would have had a 30 minute penalty. And what about the couple that went and took another clue when they knew it was against the rules?
I do like the idea that they are limiting a person to just 6 detour? or is it roadblocks where one team mate has to do something. I think that's more fair. Anyhow it was all in all a good ep last night!

Serves them right.. I couldn't believe he did that... and there it was laying on the ground So I'm glad they waited the 30 minutes  As for the older couple, if they didn't go back with the wrong car, then they would have had to wait the 30 minutes... but the look on those couples faces.... and Mommies boy.. lol .. I had to laugh when they were looking for their car... ;D I think it was roadblocks where the couple have to alternate in doing these feats. I think that's fair instead of having the same one doing it all the time.. b/c with the last season one, I thought it was unfair that the guys were doing all physical feats that they can do, while the women struggled... who didn't have a male as a couple.. I think that was the best change on that .... :thumb: ;D :horsestick: Yep, it was a great ep...I never laughed so much with Mommie's boy going down that slop..and calling his mommy out...LMAo

I agree about the change in the roadblocks because last season it seemed the men just kept doing them which I didn't feel was fair. Also do they have the "Yield" this year? I do hope they do because that ticks people off when it's used. It mixes the pot a little.

Oh, I was sad to see the two gals go last night. I wanted them to stay in the game. I don't understand Phil, though, he lets her there for over two hours after the last couple checks in at the pitstop and he's only two miles from them and then goes and tells them it's an elimination knowing how tired she was pushing at least 100 bales of hay. That was wrong man! I see we found out that there will only be 3 yields in this season. I wonder how many Fast Forwards there will be? ~Naj

I'm so bummed! The sisters were my favorite team! I can't believe poor Lena pushed hay bales around for 8+ hours! That's amazing. I agree, Naj, Phil should have come sooner. Lena's perserverance and strength were admirable. There's no way I would have been out there that long. Tough detour in this ep. The counting one was impossible. I couldn't believe it when the sisters came up with the right number. Jonathon is getting worse each week. I don't understand how Victoria puts up with it.
