The money thing is actually kind of strange. So far, the two teams that finished last in a non- elimination round and lost all their cash have done fine on their own, and havent had any trouble finishing. Its pretty much a pointless addition, it doesnt seem to affect their game at all.

I agree Trublu. It seems to serve no purpose other than to waste time that we could be watching the teams actually race.
I wonder how far behind Brandon/Nicole are b/c it was dark when they arrived at the pit stop. I would think that if they're quite a bit behind, that would affect them more than not having any money. It's definitely getting down to crunch time now.

Ooooh, just found this on TVGuide.com: DELAY OF GAME: CBS has pushed back the premiere of Amazing Race 6 from Sept. 25 to Oct. 2. No reason was given for the one-week delay, so what do you say we just blame it on Colin?www.tvguide.com/news/entertainment/I didn't realize that we were getting another installment so soon. Yay!! Now, I won't be so bummed when this one ends.

Now, I won't be so bummed when this one ends. You mean AR6 is going to premier right after this 5th show ends? Huh? That can't be right otherwise AR6 would be showing on the cbs site. Maybe the finale is bumped a week? That sounds more logical as there are 5 teams left and one more non-elimination round. Next on The Amazing Race Tuesday, September 7 10PM ET/PTTwo Teams go head to head at the airport, vying for the last two available seats on an important flight. Realizing they have failed to secure a good flight, Kami & Karli try lying to ticket agents as a strategy. Will it work, or will they find themselves far behind? An argument spurred by one Racer's driving develops into a bigger fight that tests one Team's relationship. Will it affect their performance on this leg of the Race? Fear is not an option for several Racers, who chose a Detour that plunges them headfirst into powerful whitewater rapids ~Naj

That's what I've been hearing, but it seems odd to me too. I guess we'll see. I'll try to remember to keep checking the CBS site for updates.

I kinda doubt there's a new AR so soon. It must have to do with the finale.
Tonight is AR! I hope it's more exciting than last week. I haven't chosen any favorites to win yet. But I don't think Colin deserves it.

I was going for Brandon/ Nicole because they almost never fight with eachother, and Kami and Karly, cause for some reason i like them. Dont know why. Who knows who will win...

I taped last night's episode and then this morning turned on the television and there were the two eliminated. So much for spoiling myself! But I'd still like to watch it. Hope to get it in this week.
Yesterday Charna and Mirna appeared on 'Live with Regis and Kelly'. They had to spend their time explaining what they did on the show to Regis since he hadn't watched it. But I did learn that their families had moved from Armenia (spelling) to the US and that Mirna does speak four languages. I'm always impressed when someone has that ability.

Thanks for the cool info on Mirna/Charla Naj!! My Uncle's wife speaks about five languages, and this never ceases to impress me either. Now about last night's ep....leaving space just in case (for Naj). * * * * * * * The challenges this week were so cool!! That "sledging" thing looked scary, but fun. I knew the twins were gone as soon as they picked the "dirty" detour. They were never good at stuff like this. I love Brandon/Nikki, but I think they're gone next week b/c they make bad decisions. They're lucky the twins chose the same detour otherwise they would have been gone. I was impressed with the Bowling Moms can do attitude in this one. They really pushed themselves and it paid off. Colin was bearable in this one, but I'm still maintaining that he's a BABY. I can't figure out how he and Christie do so well. They don't work well together, but they seem to manage to get way ahead and win each leg. They definitely have the momentum. Next week looks like another shining Colin moment. Maybe Christie finally tells him to take a hike, but I don't think that's too likely.

Yup, the twins were eliminated.
Tuesday, September 14 10PM ET/PT
One Team gets lost right out of the Pit Stop and starts fighting with each other.
Several Racers have to face their fear of heights in a harrowing Roadblock that forces them to walk across a narrow girder high above the waters of Auckland Harbor. Will they be able to complete the task?
After 10 legs of the Race, one Team finally decides to use the Yield. The Yielded Team is stunned and furious. Will time lost during the Yield mean elimination?
One Team finds themselves stuck in the mud at the mercy of a stubborn ox.

Yay! the twins are gone ;D I'm still rooting for the Bowling mom's I keep forgetting you want the bowling moms to win. It's amazing how they have hung in there week after week. I still haven't watched last week's ep. I don't really have any favorites but I think most would agree they don't want Colin to win. ~Naj
