Okay, so tonight I'm going to pay extra attention and pick another team to root for. I think there are some left. ;D

Me too Naj. I like Kris and Jon b/c they get along really well, and she seems to always be in a happy mood. So maybe I'll root for them.
Funny side note, my parents were in the airport the other day and their flight was canceled. My mom started talking to the couple in front of her, and she mentioned something about how the flight cancelation and everyone racing to find another flight reminded her of The Amazing Race. The woman then tells my Mom that her niece is on the current addition of TAR! Come to find out, it's Rebecca from Adam/Rebecca! Such a small world. ;D

Africa is presenting the same problems it did during the last edition of TAR. In Kendra/Freddy's defense, I heard the cab driver tell them that he would only charge them $30. I thought we were going to have another Colin almost goes to jail incident.
Since my fav team is gone (the sisters), I think I'm going to go ahead an jump full-fledged onto the Kris/Jon bandwagon. They're a fun team, and they get along so well! Kris was able to laugh and smile through the Rose Bath Road Block. Kendra was whining and complaining, and Adam was just miserable to Rebecca. I really think the reason Kris/Jon do so well is their positive attitudes and incredible teamwork. I loved Jon's comment while Kris was "taking a rose bath." He said something to the effect that Kris was so hot. Too cute!
I'm glad Don/Mary Jean got a reprive. They're not my fav team, but I really admire their strength and perserverance. Mary Jean was amazing at the Road Block! Next week looks really emotional, I better get the tissues ready now.

Yea, how about Freddy and Kendra along with Kris and Jon? The older couple I couldn't believe chose to go catch fish. They never seem to choose the right detours. I thought it was pretty funny about the first clue place supposedly opening at 10 am but it was really 7:30 am. It didn't seem to matter, though.
Yea, India is trying to rob the Americans. I can't imagine the stench in those cabs either. Ick! :yikes:
Next week the tempers flare! I want to see some of the SURVIVOR players do an Amazing Race. I hope that pans out in the future.

Tonight!
One Racer is overwhelmed with emotion, breaking down with tears at a stop along the course.
While completing a Detour, one team member takes the liberty of sampling the handled goods to the exasperation and disgust of fellow Racers.
Tempers flare during a rush for tickets at the airport where one Team is angered by two Teams working together.
A footrace to the Pit Stop brings one team to the breaking point.

Is it just me or is this season finally uninteresting?

I think this season would be a million times better if Jonathon were not a part of it. I seriously loathe him. Can you imagine getting that mad over second place? I was practically in tears watching Victoria get berated by him. She grabbed his bag so no one would take it. Seemed like a smart idea to me. I just couldn't be with someone (in the race or, worse, in real life) who treated me like that under any circumstances. I feel bad for her that she feels that he is the best she can do. Very sad.
I thought the slave memorial was very poignant, and Gus brought a couple of tears to my eyes. Most of the teams seemed to be moved by the experience.
My Kris/Jon love continues b/c they never seem to get down. They keep a positive attitude and forge ahead. I think that's how you have to be on the race, or you'll just stress yourself out too much (see Lori/Bolo).

Next on The Amazing Race Tuesday, December 21 9PM ET/PTWhile riding in a taxi, a Team member irritates the driver to the point of getting the pair kicked out. Teams are required to drive cars unlike any they've ever seen before. During a run-in with the law, one Racer pours on the charm to miraculously turn the situation to their benefit, while the teammate looks on in amazement. Transportation proves disastrous for one Team as they find themselves left behind. How will this setback affect their game? Link for the pics of contestents: www.cbs.com/primetime/amazing_race6/As far as I'm concerned Adam and his two curls can go this week.

I can't believe they did this to us! "TO BE CONTINUED...."? I guess we have to wait two weeks now to find out what's going to happen at the Internet Cafe and checkpoint. Here's a couple of articles from zap2it to tied us over. The first one deals with Jonathan and his deplorable behavior. Series co-creater Bertram van Munster actually pulled him aside and spoke with him: MORE The second article is a look at the show in general: MORE

You know, I had it on but I just can't get into any of these people. I did hear them say "To Be Continued"... so maybe they will rerun it before next Tuesday. what did Jonathan do this week? ~Naj

Not a whole lot. He did get himself and Victoria kicked out of a taxi in Hungary (?). Other than that, he was his normal rude self. One exchange that made me mad went like this (it was at a detour):
Victoria (trying to lug the front of a heavy cannon): Jon, you're going to have to be the man and pull the front.
Jonathan: Then you be the woman and be quiet.
So sexist and chauvanistic (sp). I guess in the grand scheme of Jonathan, this was just a bleep on the radar, but it still urked me.

As soon as Jonathan picked Victoria for the spicy soup roadblock, I knew it was going to be ugly. He was his usual self too. The soup scenes were really gross with all the vomitting. Gus and Rebecca just guzzled that stuff down! I was amazed!
Lori and Bolo really got lucky with that late opening. I wasn't sure what happened with the gate hitting Freddy incident. It looked to me like the gate just fell down b/c no one was holding it up. I don't know.
A very drama filled ep!

The soup scene was yucky.. And Jonathan was his usual self... but at least she told him to shutup now.... and he did.. but he will still persistant at times.. I think I would have wacked him at some point.. :hammer: yeah, I don't know or didn't see anyone pull down the gate, but the wrestling guy was sure giggling alot.. Like maybe he had something to do with it who knows.... but I'm sure it hurt I am so sorry the Father and daughter were eliminated... I just wish they get rid of Jonathan.... at least he wasn't screaming at her for not being in first place again.. :hammer: but he is still a jerk

I half watched it again. These people just don't engage me. But I did see the soup part and it was disgusting how he had thrown up in the soup and he was re-eating it. EWHHHHHH!!!!!

I was glad it was Hayden and Aaron that got the reprive b/c if it had been Victoria and Jonathan I would have screamed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Hayden/Aaron fan, but I'd rather they get a second chance than the other two.
I LOVED the roadblock. Ever since that movie "A Walk in the Clouds," I have wanted to do the grape-crushing thing. I was so jealous! I really didn't think that Adam was going to be able to complete the Fast Forward. He is so useless sometimes.
Looks like more inter-team bickering next week.

This episode finally felt like the series had gotten back on track. I really enjoyed it. Still can't stand Adamd two pony tail locks on top of his head. And next week looks really good! Cant wait! ~Naj
