Wow TVFan I never would have thought that! Maybe it was because this AR was delayed being shown to begin with. Now I have AR and Survivor! OMG!
Well last night was a nail biter...
S P O I L E R . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I was happy that Colin and Christy had the "YIELD" put on them. Boy is he angry. There have only been two Fast Forwards (is that right?) The only ones left who could take the FF in the final would be Chip and Kim or Karen and Linda. I wonder if they will have one plus who will get to the YIELD first! I'm thinking that the previews gave away the winner next week. They always give it away in the preview if you are looking.

Leavin' space just in case * * * * * * * Noooooooooooooooo! We were so close to losing Colin!! I was so upset when Phil said that this was the last non-elimination round. And on top of it, Colin was absolutely dispicable last night. He had no redeeming qualities what so ever. When they were plowing with the ox, honestly, I've never seen anyone get that angry or nasty on this show. He made my stomach turn a little bit. Chip and Kim rock! I love that they used the Yield on Colin. I really didn't know who was going to come in first or last with this ep. It was down to the wire. Did anybody else notice that Colin kind of cheated this week? When they were in New Zealand at the marina, he just pulled the rope down to get the next clue. But, the previous clue clearly stated that you needed to use one of the marked cranks to get the clue down. I rewatched it (TiVo) to make sure. I guess it wasn't significant enought to warrent a time penalty.

I was so excited when it won! I really thought that "The Apprentice" would win, so I was pleasantly surprised. Did you guys see Colin/Christie, Charla/Mirna, and Nicole/Brandon on the Red Carpet? They looked so different all glamed up!

I'm thinking it's going to be Colin/Christie, but hopefully I'm wrong. BTW - CBS delayed the Season 6 premiere b/c (according to Matt Roush at tvguide.com) they don't want to air it on Saturday nights. Roush thinks that the network is going to wait until one of their shows inevitably fails, and then put TAR in its timeslot or shuffle the schedule around and accomidate TAR on Tues nights. I guess we'll see. Anyway, I found this article on USAToday.com. It answers all of out burning questions (no spoilers). How do they do that?

Hi TV,
I didn't read those spoilers yet and didn't want to know anything yesterday so I'll take a look at them.
Well it was 45 minutes to go in the finale and I thought for sure the winner at that point would be Colin and Christy. But there were still 45 minutes to go and I wasn't sure ....
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . what would really happen. I kinda looked like the show was going to fizzle at that point. But it didn't. I don't mind that Chip and Kim won at all. I think it's great. Colin was a very gracious winnner and you could tell it was all about competition for him. I kinda felt bad when he didn't win. But if he had, I'd been angry. I guess that's called "Good Television". The show still has it!

* * * * * * I thought for sure it was going to be Colin and Christie! I was pleasently surprised when Chip/Kim won! CBS couldn't have written a better ending. Between the fog delaying the American flight to the checked bag problem, it was awesome! I was so happy that Chip and Kim won. They weren't nasty to each other once during the race. That says a lot about them and their relationship. I liked Brandon and Nicole, but they didn't truly run the race. If they had won, it would not have been earned. I know Nicole is young (21?), but crying on the slopes isn't going to get you down any faster. Kudos to the bowling moms for making it as far as they did. Their efforts were very impressive. There's no way I could have done that roadblock with the ropes. Overall, a great season. I can't wait for season 6 to start up!! ;D

Did anyone see the final four teams on The Early Show the other morning? Phil presented Chip/Kim with their check, and everyone talked about their experiences on the show. Colin proposed to Christie right there on the air! Of course, she said yes. BTW - Colin swears he and Christie got a bad edit. He says that he is not a raving lunatic and Christie is not his submissive girlfriend. Here's a link to the 4 teams' appearance on the show, including the proposal, earlier this week if you're interested. After the Race

Hi TVFan, Yes I did see it. I thought Colin proposing to Christy was unnecessary. I wish he hadn't have done that. But I loved the segment. They got a good chunk of time. Iit looks now like AR will be airing in November and not October. I was still holding out that your news was wrong but it wasn't. I hope it doesn't get delayed any longer than that. ~Naj

I agree Naj. The whole proposal moment was really weird! Harry Smith didn't seem to know what to do/say. I think Colin was trying to be like Boston Rob and Amber, but it just didn't work. I would have preferred if he had skipped that idea. Oh well.

Found this article on Colin/Christie on TV Guide online today. It reveals some interesting info about the show. Did you guys know there was a Roadblock during the final leg that wasn't shown? Here's the link: "It's OK, run 'em over if you have to."
