Naj - I wasn't sure how the no money thing was going to play out, so I reserved my judgment, but I really disliked it. I thought the whole thing was very uncomfortable. I just don't think it's right to make people beg for money, especially in a foreign country. It just seems somewhat dangerous to me. I wish they hadn't done this either.

well, I finally saw my tape version of TAR.. I was wondering how the Bowling moms were gonna make out.. but I agree with you TVFan.. I think that was pretty bad that they had to beg for money. They were soo lucky that a bus load of tourists showed up and were willing to give them money and not take the apple.. I am so happy they are back in the race..

I felt bad for the one brother with the problems of his knees but I'm glad they are out now. I had to laugh about the sheep thing..OMGs.. that was funny.. with Mirna and Chirna.. lol That digging for those items in that sand, that was tough.. dammit ..now I can't remember what they were called ..lol oh well, the name of item will come back to me later.. :horsestick: but I had to laugh when they didn't know what they were looking for ;D

It was a scarab Eurache! I'm wondering if they didn't have three buried along each row at different depths? What do you think? I'm beginning to wonder about the validity of things this year. Oh well!

I'm wondering too :confused: I mean, I don't think I listen to the clues as to how they were to find them.. but that one bowling Momma was making a big pile of sand.. LOL I thought she was digging to China!! :toothlaugh:

I don't think they had to dig that deep, most of those others that found it faster, found it by hand :eek: others used the strainer and shovel..and digged like crazy... :hammer:

i feel most of them don't take the time to really read the clues... always rushing and not knowing what or how to look for something.. Like the twins, for example..golly... :pat:

I don't think it gave any clues as to where in their lane the scareb was located. That's the whole trick, I guess. But in my mind, I'm thinking they put more than one scareb in each lane and I thought they were down a bit too---not on the surface.

Poor Myrna and Charna. That Colin is cruel. I didn't want to see them go. They are what made the show interesting this year. Anyone see Phil get choked up. It looks like they had to cut the scene.

Noooooooooooooooo! Bring back Charla and Mirna! I agree Naj, the show isn't going to be the same without them.

On a positive note, I LOVE the conniving that has been going on lately. How fabulous was the "don't help these americans" part. I almost died when the bowling moms and Charla/Mirna gambled and lost on that other flight. It was even better when their bus passed the other bus that ran out of gas! foujylos.notlong.com [/IMG] This is getting too good for words. The egg scene was priceless!! I loved the inter cutting between the twin and Charla gagging up egg. I was laughing so hard! I noticed that Phil choked up too Naj. Must have made Mirna's day!

Finally, Colin is a BABY! ------------> this is what I would have done to him if I were Christie.

First of all, Colin is a jerk! And then Christy apologizes to him over the whole thing? I'd dump this dude after the race. I'd never want to have a relationship like that!

I was surprised that the show did carry on quite interestingly. {is that a word? }. I don't know that I have any favorties, though.

Next weeks promo was funny. The Fast Forward someone has to get their head shaved! :thumb: Also Colin and Christy won't be eligible for the Fast Forward if I'm correct since they already took one---or have they changed that rule? I'd like to know the rules this season. And I've yet to see anyone use the "Yield".

Christie apologizing to Colin was a new low for women everywhere! Oh my gosh, can she be more of an enabler?! She better run, and run fast from that relationship. I think it was Kim who said that Colin adds so much stress to Christie's life. Wow!

Anyway, this episode was so intense. From the police station brawl to the detour car/skydiving stuff. My stomach was in knots after it!

Reason #345 why I don't like Colin - he is so rude to these people in these foreign countries. I hate when Americans go over to someone else's country and act like they are entitled and better than those in the said country. It just perpetuates that whole ethnocentric American stereotype. Everyone else paid $100 (which was a lot, but it was the price and it was discussed upfront). Oh well, Colin's a BABY (I'm sticking to that until he gets eliminated).

Speaking of Colin, I notice that he's up to his usual antics next week as well. Now I know something like TAR experience would bring out the worst in me at times, but it seems to bring it out in Colin constantly. Oh, and I'm dying to know who has to shave their head nexy week.

Naj - I think you're right about the Fast Forward. I guess that means that it's not Colin/Christie that have to shave their heads. Also I'm with you, what is up with this elusive YIELD? They touted it so much leading up to the show, but no one has used it. Very strange.

I can't believe that Colin had no respect for the policeman. I really really wish they had arrested him. But I do think all the drivers were taking advantage of the Americans. That's not right.

Well I see how when you come in last at a non-elimination round that you only have to survive the next round with no money and then they give you money. I thought it was for the rest of the game! I guess that's good it's only one round.

Yup, Colin is very nasty. All the other players see it too. I really don't want him to win.

Linda & Karen get into a dispute with a local cab driver, who gets the local police involved.


Infighting plagues a couple of Teams, who struggle to complete the Roadblock. Frustration with a partner's performance leads one Racer to exclaim, "You know, I could do that much better than you!"


One Team chooses to go for the Fast Forward but is shocked to learn they must shave their heads. Will they do it and take the Fast Forward?

I see Colin still is a loose canon! I can't believe Chip and his wife didn't take the Fast Forward. I thought they know who is ahead based upon the YIELD. But then if they don't look at who is behind them then they wouldn't know. I can see not wanting to take a YIELD because as soon as you do the others may retialiate on you and you could get bombarded mutlitple times if you are still left in the game.

I was surpirsed there was no elimination and unable to figure out how a team can get enough money to get an airplane ticket. That is the siliest gimmick put in the game this time. They could have done without it. Last night wasn't exicitng as the earlier eps.

I couldn't believe it when the "Yield" finally made an appearance! And, it continues to amaze me that the Twins are still in this game. They run a very sloppy race, and they rush through everything causing them to mess up a lot. I can't figure out how they survive. Chip/Kim got lucky with their taxi drivers this time b/c they ended up first at the Yield when they should have been about 3rd. The whiney Bowling Mom is starting to get on my nerves. Yelling and screaming and carrying on like that at the train station and later in the taxi are not going to help anything. Sheesh!

I really like Nicole/Brandon b/c they treat each other really well. Brandon was really sweet about the Fast Forward thing even when Nicole felt like she had messed everything up for them. He wasn't even mad. Needless to say, I was happy that this was a non-elimination round. The money thing is starting to really bug me, and I'm not happy that we have to waste race minutes next week watching them begging for cash. Ugh. Oh well.

Oh and Naj, I agree. This ep was not as action packed and exciting as others have been this season.
