Sadly no, I think once a show is canceled thats it. At least I've never seen a canceled show being "reborn" before.

Not necessarily true. Family Guy was cancelled at one point. A few years later it was put on Adult Swim; received high viewer ratings, so Fox picked it up again.
Not saying this is what will happen with Cold Case. I just wanted to point out that there are some extremely rare cases of a cancelled show being "reborn".

Family Guy also had a MASSIVE cult following on the internet which is what in part, spurred Fox into picking the show up again. I don't think Cold Case has that kind of support behind it, no matter how much we all here love it.

The only chance it has is if ABC decides to pick it up. Beyond that, Cold Case has gone cold for good.

This maybe a bit different but I remember 7th Heaven having a Series Finale on Season 10.... a few years back.
Then like a few months or weeks later, 7th Heaven was coming back for an 11th Season and I didn't like that another season was going to happen because they show just needed to end..
It was like the little show that could in the beginning but then it was like the show that didn't go away yet...

I know.. but in a case like this, Cold Case has to be picked up by ABC soo or the actors will have moved on.

I'll join you. I don't think it is right to tell the viewers that it was the season 7 finale and then cancel the show. At least with Crossing Jordan two finales were made depending on if the show was canceled or not.

I have an idea.....anyone remember what if any products were regularly advertised while Cold Case was on? How about boycotting those products until or unless the show is reinstated (intact with all actors, premise, etc).

I hope ABC picks it up like they have said in a few of the articles. TNT would be better since they already show reruns.

Only bad thing about it being on cable...less episodes per season..I'm keeping my fingers corssed ABC will pick it up.

 Well I went from depressed to angry finding out that the best show on tv is being replaced by CSI: Miami. Otherwise the Sunday lineup is the same. Well I dont watch it anyway but certainly wont watch it now.
