I thought Season 4 was the best...but there were some excellent episodes in Seasons 5, 6 and 7. I'm mad because I got 12 people to send letters from Australia (I bribed friends and family and paid their postage)....I tried really hard... That's all you can really do though. I even almost didn't write the letter because I just felt, they wouldn't care and they would just do whatever they wanted to do. But at least you tried.

Sadly with CBS, Leslie M has his mind made up IMO, to cancel Cold Case this year... and no letters or pentions were going to change his mind.

I just have to ask a question, TNT airs re-runs of Cold Case, right, but does ABC? Is there more of a chance on TNT or ABC picking it up?

To be honest, I'd say there's a better chance of TNT picking it; and I say this for the following reasons.
1. They show reruns of Cold Case three times a day on the week-days. MST they show them at 1am, 12pm, and 1pm 2. A lot of their shows appear to be in the same sort of vein as Cold Case (Saving Grace, In Plain Sight, etc etc.) 3. A lot of their shows are character centric, and so is Cold Case.
Basically, Cold Case, I believe, fits their formula. So if any station picks the show back up, I have a feeling it's going to be TNT.

I feel that way too Rev.. TNT being cable.. it will mean fewer episodes.. but I'll take 12-15 more episodes of Cold Case, than no more at all.

If you have a Twitter, tweet this:
@tntweknowdrama Please pick up Cold Case! Their ratings are great, you would benefit from it! Give fans another season!
Hopefully TNT will get the hint, and will pick up Cold Case!

Season 6 was just epic! What's all this buzz with Seasons 1 or 2. Yes, I like Lilly but we had to see more than her.Seasons 1,4 and 6 were the best for me. Too many emotions with "Shuffle, Ball Change", "Wednesday's women", "A time to hate"... Too many emotions! I understand what you're saying, but for me it wasn't because the show got less "Lilly-centric", it was because for the most part the cases became stale, and I couldn't just buy the killings most of the time. Not that I ever once cried over any of the episodes, but I will say that so many of seasons 1 and 2 eps were quite moving and still stay in my head til this day. This was one thing that for me they couldn't seem to replicate anymore. I found that the show just got really predictable, and the killing of the victims were often stupid, or just a non event. I almost never "cared" (in a telly sense) about the victim post season 2. While there are plenty of seasons 6 and 7 episodes I like/love -- "Shore Leave", "Pin Up Girl", "Mind Games", "The Long Blue Line", "Into the Blue", "WASP", "Chinatown", "Shattered", "Bullet", "Hoodrats", "Wings", "The Runaway Bunny", "Wednesday's Women", etc. -- I think seasons 2-4 were the strongest, with the season five following closely behind.

This IS my favorite show. I volunteer my time with organizations that try to find names for Jane & John Doe's and I can recognize some of the real cases that have been dramatized on all these shows. There are enough real cold cases to keep the show going for years. I really dont care who picks it up as long as they dont forsake the music (the most expensive part of the show). I appreciate the reasons behind the use of the music. The show was bolder in the sense of subject themes: transgenderism, homosexuality, interracial relationships, mental retardation, etc. in the first few seasons and they treated these topics with dignity and respect. In THAT respect they are the first and only procedural drama to do so. I was never as interested in the personal stories of the characters, I watched it for the storylines and the music and I think most fans did too. As we've found with many of the procedural crime drama characters, they are usually pretty eccentric or messed up. All I know is that this is a one of a kind show that will never be replaced. CBS tossed away a priceless gem and if I didnt also enjoy watching Criminal Minds so much I would deprogram the CBS channels from my tv set.

I don't mind at all. Please feel free to post the video anywhere or to anyone that you all feel will help keep the show on tv for another year or two. Esp. CBS!

I truly believe TNT may jump on it. It brings in two to 3 million viewers per episode...that's rating's gold for most cable channels.

I too would like to see Cold Case get picked up by TNT. They air re-runs already, getting original episodes would be a boon. Especially since Saving Grace is nearing the end -- it can fill that slot.

Well I just got off the phone with a very nice lady at TNT and thats not going to work because CBS wont release the rights to new shows. Sooooooooooooooo not only did they cancel our show and not give us DVD's but they're pulling this now. Looks like our ONLY hope is CBS changing its mind.

The exact words were "If CBS would release it we could pick it up, I love the show myself" Sorry shouldnt have paraphrased on that one. Darn CBS anyway!
