Tears run down Justina's cheeks and they sat in silence for a while when suddenly younger woman spoke, "Look at the time. I have to go."
Lilly took a napkin and gently wiped tears away form Justina's face, "Trust me. Opening up is good."
Justina let out a small smile, "Tomorrow's a party, right? Should I bring something?"
"Nah. Just be there. Come on, I'll drive you home."


The night of the party was hectic, Lilly got the children to all go down to Finn's room and make sure he stayed down there. The kids played game while they made alot of noise, which helped Lilly to get the decorations up.
Annie was helping with everything while Scotty made the food. Although he wanted nothing to do with it, he decided to help Lilly seeing she was desperate for the hand in need.
By the time everything was ready, Lilly, Scotty and Annie were sitting on the couch.
Right at that moment, the doorbell went.
"Get Finn." Lilly whispered, seeing Scotty stand up.
Finn came out with Bella's hands over his eyes while he gave her a piggy back.
Lilly let Justina in and everyone moved away as the two stared at eachother.
"Happy Engagement," everyone yelled, recieving a glare from Finn.
"We're not engaged," he yelled.
"Oh come on, you both love eachother."
"No we dont."
"I love you." Justina whispered, her head looking down.
"You do?"
"Yeah."
For the first time in days, Finn smiled. He moved closer to Justina a placed a heartfelt kiss to her soft lips.

Finn was sitting on the swing in the backyard enjoying the party and observing his fiance helping Lilly out.
"Here," Scotty handed Finn a bottle of beer and sat down next to him, "heard you got drunk the other night."
"Lil told you?"
"Yeah. You can never give up, man."
"What?"
"Never give up if you really love Justina. It will be hard at the beginning. Hell, I can't guarantee it will ever get easier. But don't give up."
"Did it get easier with Lil?"
"Over time, yeah. I had to change though. Stop being so demanding and learned to be patient. You have advantage over me," Scotty chuckled, "that's why you and Justina will survive anything."
"You think so?"
"I know so. Come, guys are watching football."
"I think I'll help Justina and Lilly."
Scotty went to tjhe living room and Finn to the kithcen but girls pushed him out to join rest of the guys, "Go. We're fine here."
Finn turned when he heard giggles and saw Justina and Lilly whisper something to each other. He couldn'ty believe his eyes - his sis and fiance were bonding.

He walked into the lounge and sat down the couch. Scotty was playing with Bella, wrestling and tickling her.
Finn leaned back, until he felt a pair of soft lips kiss his. His snapped open and Justina was giggling.
He pulled her down on the couch and snuggled into her.
"Scotty." Lilly mumbled, calling him over.
Scotty let Isabella down and met her in the kitchen
"Every thing okay?"
She silenced him with a kiss, kissing him passionately.
"Yeah, just wanted to do that."
Scotty smiled, pushing her against the counter.
"You did a good job."
"With what?"
"Finn and Justina. There both happy, and they need eachother."
"Just like us," she admitted, kissing him again.

"I want to have more kids with you."

"Yeah," she grinned, "I'm sure. Not right away like we don't have to start trying right now but..."

"I've changed my mind."

"Where's Matt?" she asked Scotty when she came from checking the upstairs
"Oh. Finn and Nick took Bella, Tammy and Matt somewhere. They said it's only for older ones."
"Nick took Matt? And you let him?" she yelled at her husband when door opened and Nick came in with Matty in his arms. Lil quickly took Matt from him, "Where have you taken my son?"
"Relax, Rush---Valens. He's fine."
"Do not ever take my son anywhere without asking for permision."
"I did ask. I asked my man, Scotty."
"Next time ask me!" Lil raised her voice again, "Where have you taken him? Them?"
"We went to ice ring. Skating."
"Where? Nick, Matt is only three and-"
"Three and a half," Nick interrupted her
Lil squinted her eyes, "And he can still barely walk."
"Well, he can skate. And he skates damn well for his age. Think about some classes for him, Lil. It would be good for him."
"I will decide what is good for him! And never again take him away from me," Lil with Matty on her hip moved towards kitchen, "You do not scare pregnant woman like that!"
Finn's and Nick's jawes dropped, "Pregnant?"
Lil turned towards them, "Oh. I wasn't supose to tell you, yet."
"Rush---Valens. Wasn't six enough for you two?" Nick looked at Scotty and then back at Lilly.
"I don't think it's your business, Vera."
"I'm just saying."
"Well, then go say it somewhere else," Lil stormed off to the kitchen.
It took Nick a minute to gather up his thoughts, he looked at Scotty again, "Think about skaing classes for Matt, ok?" he moved towards the exit, "And uhmm congratulations. I think. 'Bout another kid."
Scotty grinned, "Thanks. We really want more kids, Nick."
"Yeah. Whatever."

"Well she's a little...uneasy, but she knows I love her."

"I'm jsut scared you know. I want kids, she doesn't."
Scotty chuckled, remembering Lilly at the start of their marriage. "Trust me, she'll change her mind, Lil did, we have 5 already and one on the way."
Finn looked up confused, his hands falling to his side. "One on the way?"
"Oh crap. I wasn't meant to say that."
"Your having another baby?"
"Well...Lilly and I both want one."
"You mena you got her to want one."
"No, she told me she wanted another one."
Finn's jaw dropped and his eyes windened. "Lilly...wants another baby."
"Yeah, we were planning it for later, but look what happened."
Finn smiled, his lips straightening. "I'm happy for you both."
"Thanks man." Scotty stood up, stretching out. "I'm going to bed, got a wife I need to take care of."

Lilly slept on the bed tired. she woke up suddenly, realizing something. store. She got up, changed, and ran out. She ran past a confused Scotty and Finn, to her car. she pressed the gas petal, but it wouldn't go

Half hour later Lil returned home to be confronted by angry Scotty
"What the hell was that? You run out, don't take a phone with you. Don't tell me where you're going. You can't do that to me."
"Scotty, calm down. I can take care of myself."
"Lil, it's not only you now. It's our baby too! And kids at home! What if something would have happened to you? What then, huh?"
Lilly rolled her eyes, "But nothing happened. I'm fine."
"Yeah. Now. You can't guarantee something won't happen! Can't do that to me!"
"Stop it! I have a gun in those cases. Don't threat me like a baby!" Lil went upstairs towards their bedroom when Scotty grabbed her arm
"Lil, listen to me! Do not do that ever again!" he raised his voice
"Don't yell. You'll wake up the kids."

“Scotty! How can you say that? I love them very much and I love you,” she wanted to kiss him but he turned away
“Mummy?” Lil turned hearing small voice behind her
“Tamara, go back to bed!” Scotty yelled at his girl making her cry
“Don’t yell at her. She didn’t do anything,” Lilly picked up the toddler and carried her back to her room to tuck her in. When Lil returned to couple’s bedroom Scotty was sitting on the bed crying. She sat down next to him placing her head on his shoulder, “I’m sorry for scaring you like that.”
“I would never forgive myself, if something anything would have happen to you, Lil. Don’t do that again.”
“I won’t. Promise.”

"will you just explain to me what you were doing? running out like that?" Scotty asked
Though she knew he would be embarrassed to know where she was going, the fact that she couldnt turn on the car was pretty low. she gave a weak smile and blushed
"Um, I was going to the store... but the car wouldn't go on. we need to get it fixed" She answered
Scotty laughed, and and looked at her
"I went to the store before. the car ran out when I came home. I got one of those refilable gas things, must of forgot to refill"

When Lil returned to couple’s bedroom Scotty was sitting on the bed crying. She sat down next to him placing her head on his shoulder, “I’m sorry for scaring you like that.”
“I would never forgive myself, if something anything would have happen to you, Lil. Don’t do that again.”
“I won’t. Promise.”

Lilly lay in bed that night thinking of the day. She was desperate for time away.
"You awake Lil?" Scotty asked, seeing her staring up at the ceiling.
"No."
Scotty smiled and pulled her close. "You okay?"
"I'm sick of everything Scotty."
"What do you mean?"
"I just...it gets so hard to take care of the kids. I never have time for myself."
"You want go away?"
"Yes."
"Well, I'll plan some time away. You want the kids to come?"
"No, just you and me."
Scotty nodded, rubbing her back as she drifted off to sleep.

"Hey Finn."
Finn looked up at Scotty, seeing his sleepy eyes.
"Yeah."
"I want to take Lilly away. Can you ask your dad if he'll take care of the kids."
"Why do you want to take here away?"
"Just for a trip, she's having a hard time and needs to get away."
Finn nodded and moved to the phone. "I'll ring him now."

Finn looked up at Scotty, seeing his sleepy eyes.
"Yeah."
"I want to take Lilly away. Can you ask your dad if he'll take care of the kids."
"Why do you want to take here away?"
"Just for a trip, she's having a hard time and needs to get away."
Finn nodded and moved to the phone. "I'll ring him now."

Finn decided to take care of the kids with Justina and some small help from Paul. For him it was a perfect opportunity to show his fiance they should have kids one day. Week later Lil and Scotty were all packed and saying goodbyes to the kids.
"Where we're going?" Lil asked when they were driving already to their destination.
"It's a surprice, Lil. All I can tell you you'll love it," Scotty wouldn't budge for the whole trip making Lil more and more anxious.
After few hours they stopped by small grocery store what looked like the middle of nowhere.
"Why were stopping here?"
"Need to buy food, Lil. Be right back."
"We can buy it later."
"Oh no. Now with what I have planned for us," Scotty chuckled and disapeared inside
Few minutes later he was back and they drove away on a small road leading into the forest. Scotty stopped the car in front of small wooden cabin, "You'll love it. I promise. Just us for the whole week. We'll sit in front of the fire place and..."
"And...you're planning something special?"
Scotty just grinned. He picked up Lil and bridal style carried her inside the cabin, "Something very special, my love."

Few minutes later he was back and they drove away on a small road leading into the forest. Scotty stopped the car in front of small wooden cabin, "You'll love it. I promise. Just us for the whole week. We'll sit in front of the fire place and..."

Scotty just grinned. He picked up Lil and bridal style carried her inside the cabin, "Something very special, my love."

When they walked into the cabin, they both instantly smiled. Nearly everything was wood, except for the seating furniture and electronic things.
Scotty set their bags down while Lilly looked around the cabin.
Scotty wrapped his arms around Lilly as she stared into their bedroom. Their bedroom was the biggest room of the house. Lilly ran and jumped on the bed, spreading her arms and legs out.
"Finally," she whispered, hugging Scotty when he came near.
"You like it so far?"
"Yep."

Later that day, Scotty took Lilly out for a walk. Lilly loved the fresh air and the trees that surrounded them. As they walked, Scotty looked down at her.
"You know we really needed this time away."
"I know, I'm glad we did it."
"Me too."
Scotty stopped, leaving Lilly to keep walking. When she felt everything go quiet, she turned around. Scotty was standing there smiling at her.
"What?"
Scotty walked forward, leaning down. Lilly didn't get his meaning untill he got down on his knees and pointed to his shoulders.
Lilly laughed and hoped on top of his shoulders. Scotty secured her hands and legs and started to walk.

"It's nobody's fault. Things like that happen every day. She-Lilly said she wasn't showing even though it was a third month. Her body knew...knew that something is wrong and aborted before child started-"
"Can I see her?" Scotty interruopted him
"Yes. Of course. This way."
When Scotty enterred his room he saw Lil was crying before but now seemed...calm. He sat down by her side and she sat up to cuddle to him, "I'm sorry Scotty."

Scotty drove to the nearest hospital. They wheeled Lilly out of his sight. When two hours later doctor came out Scotty knew something is wrong.

"Yes. What's wrong with her? What happened?"

"It is, I didn't look after it propley."
"Baby, look at me."
Lilly looked up at Scotty with her puffy eyes.
"It wasn't your fault. You couldn't help it."
"But...I wanted another baby."
"Lil, we'll try again okay. But this isn't your fault, it happens to heaps of women."
Lilly didn't say anything, but instead pulled Scotty down into her bed.
"Don't hate me," she whispered, rubbing his chest.
"Don't worry baby. I'll always love you."

When Lilly awoke, Scotty was talking to a doctor. She couldn't make out what they were saying, but when Scotty spotted Lilly, he suddenly stopped. The doctor walked out and Scotty moved closer to Lilly.
"What were you talking about?"
"Pregnancy."
"What about it?"
"Just asked how long we should wait till we start trying again."
Lilly played with her bottom lip and she stared at her hands.
"Can I go home now?"
"Oh no you don't, you wait till the doctor says so."
Lilly groaned, rolling her eyes.

Lilly was released next day. Scotty wanted to go home but Lilly was stubborn and wanted to stay in the cabin.
"Lil, we should go home, " Scotty begged
"I want to stay here. Rest. I don't need family asking why we came earlier."
"We have to tell them bout miscarriage abyway, Lil."
"No. Do not dare to tell them. When can we try again?"
"Uhmm...2 moths to be sure nothing will happen."
"Crap! that's too long."
"Nothing can be done bout it, Lil."
"I know. But we can still..." she moved to him kissing him passionatelly. He gave in and moved her down to the floor, "Lil, I love you...but we shouldn't"
"I don't care. I want to! I need to! Please, Scotty..."

Scotty pouted his lips and pulled her closer. She rested her head on his shoulder, snuggling up to him. Finally, sleep found her.

When they came home children were happy to see mum and dad again. All six cuddled close to Lil as she sink into the couch. "I love you so much," she whispered.
Scotty pulled Finn into the kitchen, "How was it? You guys ok?"
"Had minor problems but nothing we couldn't handle, "Finn smiled.
"You sure?"
"Yeah. Everything's fine. Justina's now more convinced we'll be ok having kids on our own so I should actually thank you, guys."
"Good. Good..."
"What is it, Scotty?"
"Uhmm...Lil and I will tell you officially later, but...while we...Lilly had a miscarriage."
"Oh," thats all Finn was able to say while he obseved Scotty.
"Around Christmas time...we want to go for a week's vacation again."
Finn nodded, "You don't celebrate Christmas here anyway and I already talked to my dad bout bringing Justina over. I'm sure he won't mind kids around at that time. I'm sure he'll be trilled bout it."
"Good. Don't say anything untill Lil will say something, though. I don't want her to get mad."
"You got it, Scotty. But...if kids will stay with us during Christmas you'll need to buy them presents, 'cause my parents will and Justina and I will...you know...it's a tradition at our house."
Scotty nodded before returning to living room and snuggling close to Lil and all the kids.
