For next week Lilly couldn't stand being apart from her girls while they needed her the most. She stayed with Matty and Seirra in Paul's house. On top of that Stillman forced her to take leave untill the labor so she could rest. Lil hated that and called Scotty few times a day to check on girls and on work.
Scotty flipped his phone open when it rang another time this day, "Lilly I told you, girls are fine. And cases are going good too. So what do you want?"
"Scotty, it's Paul. You better come down to the hospital."
"Why? What happened? Is Lil ok?"
"Yes, she's fine. Screaming and cursing a lot but that's normal for being in labor."
"What? I'm on my way."
Scotty closed his phone and informed Stillman of Lil's situation before running out from the office.


Lilly was screaming in agony, waiting for Scotty to come home when he burst through the door.
"Lil?"
"Scotty."
Scotty ran into the kitchen to see Paul squating besides Lilly on the floor.
"poo poo Scotty help me."
Scotty started to panic but held his chest to keep calm. He lifted Lilly up, wrapping his arms around her.
"I'll meet you there." Paul whispered, grabbing his keys. Paul called the kids and they followed after him, watching as their mother screamed in pain.

After arriving in the hospital, Lilly and Scotty found a doctor. While the doctor got Lilly ready, Scotty went out to talk to the kids.
"What's wrong with mummy?" Matt asked, trying to enter the room.
Scotty picked him up, along with Tammy.
"Listen, you know how mummy is having twins?"
They both nodded and Tammy clutched Scotty's shoulders. "Well, she is about to have them now, and it hurts sometimes, so you have to stay out here, and be good, otherwise mummy might get mad."
Matt's smiled grew on and Tammy giggled.
"Okay, stay here."
Scotty set them down next to Paul and ran back into Lilly's room.

After arriving in the hospital, Lilly and Scotty found a doctor. While the doctor got Lilly ready, Scotty went out to talk to the kids.
"What's wrong with mummy?" Matt asked, trying to enter the room.
Scotty picked him up, along with Tammy.

They both nodded and Tammy clutched Scotty's shoulders. "Well, she is about to have them now, and it hurts sometimes, so you have to stay out here, and be good, otherwise mummy might get mad."

Scotty set them down next to Paul and ran back into Lilly's room.

It took hours before Lilly was ready for delivery. They gave her pain medication and Scotty noticed she didn't feel any contraction pain. While they waited Lilly went over possible name combinations but decided that she will know the right names when she'll see the girls.
"How are Bella and Tammy?"
"Not sick anymore," Scotty smiled sitting down close to his wife, "All symptoms gone. You want to see them?"
"Do you really have to ask?"
Scotty chuckled and went to get the girls. Minute later both girls came in running screaming 'Mummy' when they saw Lil. Scotty sat them down on the bed and they both gugged Lilly.
"How are my beautiful girls?"
"Are you in pain mummy?" Isa rested her head on Lil's chest
"No honey, not anymore."
"Where are sisters?"
Lilly rubbed her bump, "Still here, sweetie. But you'll meet them soon."
"Promise?" both girls asked at the same time.
"I promise" Lil kissed each on the forehead.
"Ok, Lilly, let's see how you're doing," doctor came in to the room. Scotty took the girls outside and when he returned they were ready to take Lil to the delivery room.

"Names?" Scotty whispered, looking closely at the girls.

"Elena Madeleine and Maya Lauren."
Scotty smiled down at his wife and kissed her slowly. "Beauitful."

When the doctors left, Scotty went out to get the kids. They all ran it at once, stopping when they saw the two newborns.
Seirra giggled from Pauls arms, pounting at the girls.
"You okay?" Paul asked, setting Seirra down on the floor.
"Yeah." Lilly sat up and Elena close. Scotty was holding Maya and Isabella crawled up beside him.
"Can I hold her daddy?"
"No hunny, she's too little."
Bella pouted and sunk into her seat. Lilly smiled at her which bought out a big smile. The rest of the kids crowded around Lilly, staring at the baby and making sure she was okay.
"You better mummy?" Tammy asked, rubbing her stomach.

Newborns were a handful, unlike their siblings they had problems sleeping and when one one stopped crying other one started. Between breastfeeding, changing diapers and trying to calm them down Lilly had no time to rest. Even with Finn, Paul and Scotty's help it proved to be hard for Lil.
"Lil?" Scotty woke up at night and spotted a figure sitting in the rocking chair "Come to bed. Sleep."
"There no point, Scotty" Lil cried out "One of them will be up any second."
Scotty got up and lifted Lilly from the chair. He gently placed her in bed "You need rest." At that time one of the newborns started crying and Lilly got up quickly rushing over to the crib. She cuddled Elena trying to calm her down before Maya woke up but second newborn started crying too. Scotty took Maya and layed down on the bed placing the little one on his chest. Amazingly it calmed Maya down very fast and she fell asleep. Seing it Lilly followed his example and Elena fell asleep to.
"You're a genius, Scotty," Lil moved slowely and placed a kiss on his cheek.
"Nah, just a hubby who wants his wife to catch some sleep," Scotty got up and placed Maya in the crib, he then took Elena back to her crib, "Now sleep honey. If they'll wake up I'll rock them back to sleep."
It wasn't long before newborns woke up again crying. Scotty stopped Lilly from getting up but when she saw him strugling to calm both girls at the same time she got up to help him.
For next couple of weeks situation didn't get any better and it was hard for all members of the family. Scotty and Lilly's marriage was starting to suffer greatly since they both were getting more and more tired and small fights were happening every day over nonimportant stuff. And it was about to get even worse.

"Get out." Lilly screamed, taking Elena from Scotty's arms.
"It's my house too."
"I said get out."
Scotty glared at Lilly. "Their my daughters too," he whispered, pointing at Elena.
"Get the hell out before I get Finn to throw you out."
Scotty chuckled, grabbing his coat. "He couldn't touch me even if he tried," he mumbled, walking out the door.
Lilly sighed, resting Elena in the cot. "Sorry honey, but he's driving me crazy."

That night as Lilly lay in bed, her thoughts went to Scotty. She was worried for him, regretting kicking him out. She wished he would come hoem, hoping nothing would happen.
"Scotty?" Lilly asked, hearing the front door slam.
When he didn't answer, she got out of bed and ran downstairs.
She spotted him in the kitchen going through the fridge. His eyes was black and mixed with purple. He had blood all over is shirt and hands.
"What the hell did you do?"
Scotty shrugged his shoulder, gulping down a bear. Lilly snatched it from him and threw it across the room.
"Don't ever come in this house like this again!" With that, Lilly stormed off back to to bed.

That night as Lilly lay in bed, her thoughts went to Scotty. She was worried for him, regretting kicking him out. She wished he would come hoem, hoping nothing would happen.
"Scotty?" Lilly asked, hearing the front door slam.
When he didn't answer, she got out of bed and ran downstairs.
She spotted him in the kitchen going through the fridge. His eyes was black and mixed with purple. He had blood all over is shirt and hands.
"What the hell did you do?"
Scotty shrugged his shoulder, gulping down a bear. Lilly snatched it from him and threw it across the room.
"Don't ever come in this house like this again!" With that, Lilly stormed off back to to bed.

"What the hell" Lilly yelled when Scotty turned the light on in the bedroom "I'm trying to sleep, Scotty"
He stopped undressing, "I'm trying to clean up before going to bed or should I just get out, Rush?"
"You're drunk!"
"Yes, I am. Got problem with that, Rush?" Scotty stood proudly by the bed
"Stop calling me that. I'm your wife Scotty."
"Oh, are you? You threw me out, remember? Because I do. But it's my f*ckin' house too. My bed!"
"Please, calm down before you wake up the kids."
Scotty stumbled to the door closing and locking it, "Happy?"
"Unlock it!"
"No. My bedroom an' my f*ckin' door. What I say goes, understood? What I say goes!"
"What happened to you, Scotty?" Lilly got up and approached him but he pushed her down to the bed, "Please, come to bed. Sleep it off, Scotty."
"Oh, I will come to bed but not to sleep. Not yet!" he chuckled and placed himself on top of Lil. He pinned her down to the bed. Even with him being drunk Lilly couldn't push him off. She fought against him, "Please, Scotty, we can't. It's too soon. We have to wait. Please, don't do this Scotty," through tears she begged him but he wouldn't listen. After he was done he collapsed next to Lilly and fell asleep right away. Lilly was in pain. She struggled to get to the bathroom locking a door behind her.

The next morning Scotty awoke to a paining head. His limbs had gone limp and he couldn't move.
"Lil," he called, recieving no answer.
After gathering strenght, he got up and hoped to the bathroom. When he pushed the door open, Lilly was lying on the floor.
"Lil?"
Lilly looked up and squinted her eyes. She knew he would have no memory of the previous night.
"You okay?"
"You don't remember last night do you?" Lilly asked standing up.
Scotty shook his head, moving towards her. Lilly stepped back, making sure there was no chance of him touching her.
"What happened after the fight? Where did you go?"
"Uh." Scotty closed him eyes, flashses of him and Lilly on the bed coming into his mind.
"Lil, I'm sorry," he whispered, trying to embrace her.
"What happened?" she demanded louder.
Scotty stepped back, leaning against the wall. "I went to a bar, and I met some guy. I was playing pool with his friends, but I only had 1 drink Lil, I swear."
"Oh, so you were sober when you touched me?"
Flashes again reappeared in his mind, this time of a guy telling him to take some pill.
"I can't remember anything after it."
"After what?"
"He gave me some pill."
Lilly eyes widened, he hands shaking.
"Lil I promise, I would never hurt you, ever."
Tears rolled down her face and Scotty noticed the dry bloody on her thighs. Scotty moved closer, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry," he whispered, gently rubbing her back.
"Scotty, take me to the doctors."
Scotty nodded, lifting her up and carrying her into the bedroom.

"After what?"
"He gave me some pill."
Lilly eyes widened, he hands shaking.
"Lil I promise, I would never hurt you, ever."
Tears rolled down her face and Scotty noticed the dry bloody on her thighs. Scotty moved closer, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm sorry," he whispered, gently rubbing her back.
"Scotty, take me to the doctors."
Scotty nodded, lifting her up and carrying her into the bedroom.

He helped her dress up and carried her to the car, then to the doctor’s office. More memories coming back to him he couldn’t believe he was stupid enough to take an unknown pill from a stranger. He was thinking of ways to make it up to Lilly but only after doctor’s question he realized what he did was a crime.
“How did that happened, Lilly?”
“He...” Lil looked up at Scotty and saw pain in his eyes, she knew he will never forgive himself for what he did, “We couldn’t stop ourselves.”
“So hard to live without sex for few weeks, huh?” doctor chuckled but turned serious when the couple didn’t smile.

“Something happened?” Finn asked them when Scotty carried Lil home
“No. I had migraine and Scotty took me to the doctors.” She avoided eye contact with her brother
“He’s overprotective sometimes.”
“Yes, sometimes. Finn? Can you make me some tea?”
“Sure, sis.” Finn went to the kitchen and Scotty carried Lil to their bed.
He gently lay her down on the bed and covered with blanket, “I’m sorry Lilly for what I did.” He placed a kiss on her forehead and got up to leave when she grabbed his arm.
“Stay.”
“I don’t think I should”
“Just…stay,” Lil lifted blanket up.
Scotty hesitated before lying down next to her. He tried to stay far away from her but she moved closer and placed her head on his chest.
“I’m very sorry Lil.”
“Scotty?”
“Yes?”
“Don’t say anything. Stay but don’t speak,” she mumbled
He nodded allowing her to fall asleep and waved Finn out of the room when he brough tea.

"Me and Lil got into a fight last night. So I went out, got drunk, but I think some guy drugged me."
"And?"
"When I got home, I can't remember what I did. But Lil told me that I uh...you know, well I got physical with her."
Finn stood up, his fists clenching. Scotty stoof up and tried to calm him down.
"It wasn't my fault, I think some guy gave me hormone pills."
"Who?"
"I don't know, but it wasn't my fault."
Finn nodded and let his fists go. "Did she forgive you?"
"Yeah, she understands it wasn't my fault."
Finn nodded again and looked up at Scotty. "I get why you did it, but if you find this guy, let me know."
Scotty chuckled and walked back to Lilly. She was sitting in the bed, rubbing her leg.
"Hey," he whispered coming forward.
"Hey." Lilly pulled Scotty down and snuggled into him.

Both Lilly and Scotty were trying to forget about what happened until two weeks later late at night Lilly got a phone call.
"Lilly?" voice cried out on the other end
"Justina? What happened?"
"Finn got himself arrested. He's downtown and needs money for bail."
"What?" Lilly got up from bed startling Scotty "I'm on my way," she putted some clothes on and grabbed her badge
"What's going on?" Scotty asked in sleepy voice
"Finn was arrested. Stay with the kids."

Officer opened a cell door letting Lilly go inside, she stopped when she saw his bruised and bloody face and turned to officer, "Did he got medical attention?"
"He refused to be treated," with that officer left Lilly and Finn alone
She sat down next to Finn, "You need to see a doctor."
"I'm fine," he mumbled turning away from her, "Other guy got it worse."
"Yeah. Saw him. Broken nose? 10 stitches? Helluva fight. Will you tell me why you did this?."
"It doesn't matter. What matters is I got him good."
"Finn...It's not your business. You shouldn't interfere."
"Why the hell you ask me why I did this if you know," he expolded with anger, "Scotty was doing sh** to find this guy so I had to."
"How did you?"
"I have my ways...and determination. I couldn't let him get away with what he did."
"And you'll go to court and tell them why and then Scotty and I will have to testify. Oh, and Scotty will get in trouble for it too."
Finn calmed down and sat down, "In papers it's regular bar fight, nothing more but the guy knows why. I'm ready to face the consequences."
"Good, because I can't fix it," Lil got up to exit when Finn's voice stopped her.
"What's the worse that can happen?"
She hesitated, walked back to him putting a hand on his shoulder, "Prison time. Year, maybe two. But you have a clean record so let's hope you'll get probation and mandatory counseling. But...assault will stay on your record forever."
When silence arose Lilly got up ready to walk out again when Finn chuckled, "It was worth it. I got him good."
"Yeah, you did..but you can't act like that. Can't be so overprotective."
"I couldn't help it, Lilly."
"Had to show him who's the man?"
"Nah. Had to show him no one can mess with my family."
Lilly failed to hold back a smile, "I'm going to post a bail. See you in a few. Then we need to get you to hospital, make sure nothing's broken."

Finn calmed down and sat down, "In papers it's regular bar fight, nothing more but the guy knows why. I'm ready to face the consequences."
"Good, because I can't fix it," Lil got up to exit when Finn's voice stopped her.
"What's the worse that can happen?"

"About moving houses. I think we can afford it."
Lilly turned her head, looking at him confused.

Lilly smiled and kissed him lightly, "Okay."

Four months later Lilly and Scotty bought and fixed up their new home. Between work, newbors and four other kids it was hard but they managed. Finn was still living with them, now in his studio apartment above garage and Lilly allowed him to invite Justina to live with him.
Lilly and Scotty had their third anniversary party at their home. Whole squad showed up as well as Lilly's and Scotty's families. It was perfect party until Lilly heard a loud crying coming from back of the backyard. When she run there with Scotty they saw Matty laying on the grass unconcious and Isa with Tammy crying.
"Dad! Call 911!" Lilly yelled to her father. Scotty picked up Matt and brought him home.
"What happened, Isa?" Lilly tried to get some information from the oldest daughter but needed to calm her down first
"Matty climbed a tree, then..." Isa started crying again.
When paramedics arived they put oxigen on him. On the way to the hospital Lilly went with them and held her son's hand all the way.
In the hospital they needed to resuscitate Matty twice before his condition got stable.
It took hours before doctor came to inform Lilly and Scotty of their son's condition, "He's condition is stable but critical. He's in coma and...no prognosis when he will wake up." Lilly stared crying histerically while Scotty held her up.
"Next 48 hours will be most important," doctor continued
"Will he wake up?" Scotty asked still holding his wife tightly
"I can't say anything for sure now."
"Doc, will he wake up?" Lilly demanded
"Most likely he will saty in coma. But people do wake up form it. And Matthew is young. That gives him an advantage." With that doctor lead them to the room where Matty was hooked up to all machines keeping him alive. Lailly immidiatelly layed down close to him and started singing a lullaby, "He's going to be ok, he;'s strong like his father."
Scotty didn't know what to say, he wasn't convinced Matty will pull trough. He sat down next to Lilly and rubbed her back, "He'll be fine," he got himself to lie to make Lilly feel better.

It took hours before doctor came to inform Lilly and Scotty of their son's condition, "He's condition is stable but critical. He's in coma and...no prognosis when he will wake up." Lilly stared crying histerically while Scotty held her up.
"Next 48 hours will be most important," doctor continued
"Will he wake up?" Scotty asked still holding his wife tightly
"I can't say anything for sure now."
"Doc, will he wake up?" Lilly demanded
"Most likely he will saty in coma. But people do wake up form it. And Matthew is young. That gives him an advantage." With that doctor lead them to the room where Matty was hooked up to all machines keeping him alive. Lailly immidiatelly layed down close to him and started singing a lullaby, "He's going to be ok, he;'s strong like his father."
Scotty didn't know what to say, he wasn't convinced Matty will pull trough. He sat down next to Lilly and rubbed her back, "He'll be fine," he got himself to lie to make Lilly feel better.


The next week was particularly hard for Lilly. She stayed in the hospital every second of the day, hoping Matt would wake up. Scotty tried to get her to come home for a rest, but she wouldn't.
"I want him to wake up." Lilly whispered, her head resting next to Matt's.

Scotty started to get up until he heard Lilly's voice. "When will he wake up?"
Scotty sighed, not knowing how to help her. "I don't know Lil."
Scotty went outside of the hospital, reaching in his pocket for his phone. He dialled Stillman's number, hoping he could help.

"Boss I need your help."
"Did Matt wake up?"
"No, but Lil's going crazy."
"Won't go home?"
"No."
"She was like then when you got shot. Listen, give her time, when she's ready, she'll come home."
"Can you come down here?"
Scotty heard the older man sigh. "Okay, just give me some time, I'm going through some files."
Scotty shut his phone, hurrying back into the building. He quietly snuck back into Matt's room, smiling as Lilly peacefully slept for the first time since Matt's accident.

"Matt needs me!" she stroked his hair
"All your kids need you and you need to spend some time with girls too."
"I have to stay here. Be here when he wakes up."
Stillman sighned knowing Matt might never wake up, "Lil," he sat down close to her, "You need to think of alternatives."
She shot him a look and lied back down next to three-year-old, "He will wake up."
Stillman heard her sing before he exited to join Scotty in the hallway.
For a following month girls almost ever got a chance to see thier mother. Lilly spend every second at the hospital. Scotty tried to be very supporting but also tried to convince Lil they might think of alternatives at that point.
Lilly jumped startled when someone putted a hand on her shoulder. She looked back to see Kat standing there," Hey. How is he doing?"
"Good. Very goo-bad. Bad and there's nothing I can do," Lil started crying making Kat uncomfortable since she never saw Lilly cry.
"Have you eaten anything?'
When blonde shook her head Kat pulled her from the bed, "You need to eat. I know hospital food sucks but I saw fresh salad in cafeteria."
"I have to stay here."
"No, Lil! You need to eat to be strong. Strong for Matt and your girls."
Kat managed to get Lilly to go with her. They spend couple of hours talking or rather Kat spend that time listening to Lilly's cries but that was what blond detective needed.
When they returned to the pedriatric ward they saw nurses exit matt's room with doctor following them.
Lil knew that it can't be good, " What happened?" she demanded from the doctor. But she wasn't ready for what have followed - doctor, for the first time since Matt was admitted, smiled.

"Matt?"
"Mummy."
Lilly let out a sigh and moved closer to the bed. She pulled Matt into her arms and started to cry.
"I love you," she whispered over and over again.

Later that day, Scotty rushed over to the hospital, excited when he heard the news of Matt. Scotty looked after Matt as Lilly finally went home to take a shower and eat.
Once at home, Lilly looked into the mirrow. Her eyes were bloodshot, underlined with dark circles.
"Crap," she mumbled, running into the bathroom.

Scotty hugged Matt, rubbing his head.
"You okay?"
The boy nodded, snuggling into his fathers chest.
"Daddy."
"Yeah?"
"Is mummy okay?"
"Yeah she's fine."

When Lilly returned to the hospital Scotty was sitting outside of Matt's room, "What's wrong? Something happened?" she asked concerned for her son.
"I don't know. Doctor asked to see both of us."
"Matt?" Lilly wanted to enter the room but Scotty stopped her
"He's sleeping."
They walked together to doctor's office and sat down across from him when he asked them inside.
"Matthew's condition is good considering. He remembers you and your husband and knows he's in the hospital which is very good."
"You're saying that as if there's something wrong with that..."Lil voice trailed off when she noticed doctor squinting his eyes and looking down. She knew whatever he'lll say next it won't be good.
Doctor cleared his throat, "Brain functions are a tricky. After head injury...uhmm...some parts work perfectly while others don't. Even with technology today we are unable to explain how brain opeartes and regenerates."
"Lilly closed her eyes, "Just say it doctor. What's wrong with Matty?"
"His sematic and episodic memor-"
"Doctor? Plain english," Lilly said nervously.
"Matty remembers things that happened to him. He will probably remember all members of family. He speaks which is very good. You should be happy-"
"Doc, please."
"When nurse gave him his dinner she noticed Matt didn't know how to hold a spoon. When I asked him he said he knows it's a spoon and that you use it to eat, but he counldn't remember how to hold it," Lilly started sobbing "Matty's procedural memory...not all of it works. After showing him how to hold it he did hold it so his brain can learn it again. But I'm afraid Matty doesn't remember how to walk or tie his shoes. Basically, most of procedures he learned he has to learn again."
"So, he's like a newborn?" Scotty widened his eyes.
"Little bit, yes. But speaks and knows his souroundings as he did before the accident. He just needs to relearn some skills. He'll need therapy, but most of the learning will be done at home just like with every baby."
When couple exited doc's office Lilly surprised Scotty with a smile, "It's not bad news. Elena and Maya are learning to crawl, soon we'll teach them to walk. We'll just teach Matty at the same time."
Scotty pulled Lil into an embrace still surprised his wife didn't panic or close up with her emotions, "Matty will do great." he rubbed Lilly's back gently.

"She's always been like that, she's changed alot, but I don't think she can change that much. All I have to do is leave her for a few days, then she usually comes to me."
Finn nodded again, then stood up. "I'm going to bed. Good luck with Lilly."

For few following days Scotty slept on the couch and saw Lilly only when she came down for food. He tried to speak to her then but she would ignore him and he decided not to push her.
"Lilly," Scotty lightly knocked on the door, "I need something from our bathroom." When he heard her unlock he slowly moved to the bathroom and grabbed whatever he needed. He was ready to exit couple's bedroom when Lilly called him from the bed.
"You're not sleeping here?"
Scotty turned around, eyes wide in surprise, "Didn't know...I could."
"Come to bed," Lil's voice was soft, inviting.
Scotty immidiately moved closer to bed and lifted the covers. He wanted to pick up Matt who was already asleep in their bed.
"What do you think you're doing?" Lilly raised her voice
"What does it look like? I'm taking Matt to his bed."
"He's sleeping here."
"Lil, he has his bed. His own room."
"You're not taking my boy anywhere," Lilly cuddled Matty stroking his hair, "He needs me."
"He needs to learn to sleep in his bed. Alone."
"What if he'll need something in the middle of the night? He can't even come to me for help."
Scotty sighed realizing Lilly's right, "How he's doing? With walking?"
"Learning. Slowly but he's smart. He'll walk in no time."
Scotty noticed something strange in her voice there. He went to her side and sat down close to Lil, "You can't blame yourself, Lilly. That he fell or that his brain...That ain't your fault."

Lilly groaned, standing up. She let Matt slid down her body, holding him up on the floor. She helped him take a few steps, then let him go. He instantly fell, but luckily with Lilly's quick movements, she caught him.
"I'm going downstairs," she whispered, taking Matt with her.
Scotty smiled, even thought it wasn't with him, she was still getting out of bed and downstairs.
"Hey Lil." Finn whispered, letting his head rest on the couch.
"Hi," she whispered, sitting down next to him and pulling Matt into her lap.
"He looks alot better."
Lilly nodded, hugging him tight. Finn reached over and rubbed the boy's shoulder. Lilly looked at him with fear, calming down when she realised Matt was relaxed.
"How are you?" Finn asked, removing his hand and replacing it on Lilly's shoulder.
Lilly sighed, her neck cracking. "I'm okay, just am little tired."

"How bout I'll make breakfast? You're hungry, sis?"
"Little bit."
"And you big boy, are you hungry?" Finn slid of the couch squating in from of Matt
"Yeah! Pancakes!"
"Only if you'll help me"
Matt nodded his head and extended his arms for Finn to pick him up but Lilly pulled him closer and shook her head, "He can't help you."
Matt turned to him mom with puppy eyes, "Please, mummy!"
"Yeah. Please, mummy!" Finn looked at his sister immitating Matt but Lil shook her head again tightening her arms around Matt.
"Then how about you both come watch me struggle," it took Finn couple of minutes to convince Lilly but he finally managed to do so.
In kitchen Lilly sat by the counter with Matt on her lap. Finn placed a bowl and eggs in front of them and sat down.
"We have to start with cracking the eggs. You're up for it big boy?"
"Yeah!"
Finn helped Matt crack all the eggs, "Today's pancakes will have special ingredient, egg shells," Finn and Matt giggled but Finn noticed Lilly was still nervous, tightly holding Matt and observing him carefully.
"Lilly, just relax. He's excited to learn. Do not limit him," Finn whispered to her but she didn't react.
