In kitchen Lilly sat by the counter with Matt on her lap. Finn placed a bowl and eggs in front of them and sat down.
"We have to start with cracking the eggs. You're up for it big boy?"
"Yeah!"
Finn helped Matt crack all the eggs, "Today's pancakes will have special ingredient, egg shells," Finn and Matt giggled but Finn noticed Lilly was still nervous, tightly holding Matt and observing him carefully.
"Lilly, just relax. He's excited to learn. Do not limit him," Finn whispered to her but she didn't react.


When Scotty came down, he watched as Lilly held onto Matt tightly. Even though she was holding him tight, letting him help make breakfast was a great start.
"Having fun Matty?" Scotty asked.
Matt looked up and smiled at his father. "Yep."
Scotty went to squash into the spot next to Lilly. In the awkward position, Finn pulled Matt over the counter and into his arms. Lilly's eyes widened as she tried to reach for him. Scotty held her back, placing kids to her head.
"Relax Lil, he's fine."
Finally, after a few minutes, Lilly relaxed back into Scotty's arms. Scotty smiled as she closed her eyes.
"See, if you just realised we wanted to look after him too, things would have went alot smoother."
"I know, I just thought he needed me."
"He does, and always will, but you need to let us help too."
Lilly nodded, turning around to kiss him.
"I love you," she whispered.
"I love you too."

When Scotty came down, he watched as Lilly held onto Matt tightly. Even though she was holding him tight, letting him help make breakfast was a great start.
"Having fun Matty?" Scotty asked.
Matt looked up and smiled at his father. "Yep."
Scotty went to squash into the spot next to Lilly. In the awkward position, Finn pulled Matt over the counter and into his arms. Lilly's eyes widened as she tried to reach for him. Scotty held her back, placing kids to her head.

Lilly nodded, turning around to kiss him.
"I love you," she whispered.

When Bella and Tammy run into the kitchen Bella reached up to Finn, "Matty."
"You wanna play together?" seeing Matt nod Finn placed him on the floor. Lilly jumped up afraid boy will fall down but she saw Isa taking Matt's hand helping him walk. Tammy took his other hand and both girls helped Matt walk to the living room.
"Even girls want to help," Scotty leaned over to Lilly kissing her passionatelly
"Guys need a moment?" Finn chuckled
"What are you doing in the evening, Finn?"
"I can take kids to my studio, we'll watch some movie and after they can all sleep there. Give you privacy for the whole night, you know."
Seeing Lilly blush Scotty turned to younger guy, "Are you insinuating something?"
"Yes, I do. And you damn well know what. After all this...stuff that happened you guys need some private time. So lets not act like kids," Finn walked to the hallway, "Going for El and Maya. Be back soon so don't start anything here."
"Italian?" Scotty turned to Lil for another kiss
"Chinese," she mumbled against his lips
"Movie?"
"Maybe. But comedy only."
"Done. Our bedroom afterwards, Mrs. Valens?"
"Oh definitelly, Mr. Valens."

When Bella and Tammy run into the kitchen Bella reached up to Finn, "Matty."
"You wanna play together?" seeing Matt nod Finn placed him on the floor. Lilly jumped up afraid boy will fall down but she saw Isa taking Matt's hand helping him walk. Tammy took his other hand and both girls helped Matt walk to the living room.
"Even girls want to help," Scotty leaned over to Lilly kissing her passionatelly
"Guys need a moment?" Finn chuckled
"What are you doing in the evening, Finn?"
"I can take kids to my studio, we'll watch some movie and after they can all sleep there. Give you privacy for the whole night, you know."
Seeing Lilly blush Scotty turned to younger guy, "Are you insinuating something?"
"Yes, I do. And you damn well know what. After all this...stuff that happened you guys need some private time. So lets not act like kids," Finn walked to the hallway, "Going for El and Maya. Be back soon so don't start anything here."
"Italian?" Scotty turned to Lil for another kiss
"Chinese," she mumbled against his lips
"Movie?"
"Maybe. But comedy only."
"Done. Our bedroom afterwards, Mrs. Valens?"
"Oh definitelly, Mr. Valens."


The next morning Lilly awoke to Scotty kissing her neck.
"Mmm."

Lilly nodded, turning around in his arms. They were both interrupted by screams.
Lilly sat up, pulling the covers up and making sure they were both covered.
They both hurt Finn yelling no, but before he could stop them, all their kids came running through the door. Matt was in Bella's arms, and Seirra didn't understand what was going on.
"Mummy and daddy were kissing." Tamara giggled, holding onto Seirra's hands.
"Come one guys, leave mummy and daddy alone." Finn whispered, trying to pull tem all out of the couples bedroom.
When they were all gone, Lilly snuggled into Scotty.
"Maybe next time we should make sure we get chnaged into something before we fall asleep."
"Well I usually plan for that, but you didn't want to stop. "Scotty teased, winking at Lilly.
"Yeah yeah."
Lilly quickly leaped out of bed, through cothes over to Scotty and slipped his t-shirt voer her head.
"Come on, need to make breakfast."
Lilly grabbed Scotty's hand and dragged him out of bed. Scotty took this as a sign and pulled her into his arms. He carried her bridal style down the stairs.

"Come one guys, leave mummy and daddy alone." Finn whispered, trying to pull tem all out of the couples bedroom.
When they were all gone, Lilly snuggled into Scotty.
"Maybe next time we should make sure we get chnaged into something before we fall asleep."
"Well I usually plan for that, but you didn't want to stop. "Scotty teased, winking at Lilly.
"Yeah yeah."
Lilly quickly leaped out of bed, through cothes over to Scotty and slipped his t-shirt voer her head.
"Come on, need to make breakfast."
Lilly grabbed Scotty's hand and dragged him out of bed. Scotty took this as a sign and pulled her into his arms. He carried her bridal style down the stairs.

"You want me to answer that?" Lilly asked Finn when his cell phone for the third time interrupted them eating breakfast
"Nah. They will leave the message."
"Looks like they want to talk to you personally."
"It can wait."
But it wasn't long before phone rang again, Finn excused himself from the table and went outside to pick it up. While he was talking Justina helped Lilly clean up after breakfast.
"Hope you were ok with kids staying at your place."
"It's your place, Lilly. I'm just a guest there."
"Don't say stuff like that. You and Finn live there and treat it as your own place."
"It's still your place."
Lilly sighed, "Treat it like rental then. As long as you pay rent I can't tell you what to do...or order you to take kids for a night."
"You didn't order us. Finn offered and I agreed with him. It was an amazing sleepover for the kids, by the way. They watched a movie, ate popcorn...witch turned into a mini food fight. It was good."
"Then I better go clean up after them."
"That's fine. I'll do it."
"Oh no. My kids, my mess."
Lilly went to their studio and cleaned up popcorn from the floor. She was gathering kids clothes and few toys when she picked up Finn's pants and a small black box fell to the floor. She picked it up suspecting what's inside when Finn came in and took it out of her hand.
"I got it," he shoved it down his pocket, "You got kids stuff?"
"When are you planning to ask her?" Lilly pursued the topic
"Ask who what?"
Lilly nodded towards his pocket and smiled.
"Don't know what you're talking about," Finn smiled awkwardly
"Suite yourself. Who was that calling you?"
"What? Now you're my mother? It was no one."
"Fine," Lil turned to exit, "Have your little secrets."

Lilly went to their studio and cleaned up popcorn from the floor. She was gathering kids clothes and few toys when she picked up Finn's pants and a small black box fell to the floor. She picked it up suspecting what's inside when Finn came in and took it out of her hand.
"I got it," he shoved it down his pocket, "You got kids stuff?"
"When are you planning to ask her?" Lilly pursued the topic
"Ask who what?"
Lilly nodded towards his pocket and smiled.
"Don't know what you're talking about," Finn smiled awkwardly
"Suite yourself. Who was that calling you?"
"What? Now you're my mother? It was no one."
"Fine," Lil turned to exit, "Have your little secrets."


When everyone had gone to bed, Finn pulled out the black box revealing a diamond ring. He had thought of many ways how to propose to her, nothing lighting up his eyes.
"Hey Lil," he whispered, walking into the kitchen.
Lilly turned around facing him. "Yeah."
"Can I take you all out, to an amusement park."
Lilly raised her eyebrows. "All of us?"
"Yeah, and I was hoping I could bring Justina along."
Lilly smiled, knowing where this would lead. "Sure."
Finn nodded, knowing his plan was set in place.

The day came and Finn was extrememly nervous. He slid the box into the back pocket of jeans, hoping no one would notice.
They picked up Justina as they drove to the amusement park. Justina didn't have a clue what was going on, she thought it was just a fun day for the family.
As they walked around the rides, Tammy holding onto Finn's hand, Justina started to feel uneasy. The kids went on rides with the Finn, leaving Lilly to ask Justina many questions.
"Ever think about marriage."

Young guy almost choked on his food when he saw the ring on Justina's finger.He saw black box in Bella's hand and checked his back pocket. Indeed, his pocket was empty.

"I didn't think we were that serious."
"It's okay if you don't want to." Finn whispered, feeling hurt inside.
They both didn't notice the rest of the family sitting there. Lilly was snuggled up with Scotty, her head on his chest, with the kids all smiling.
"I didn't say I didn't want to, I just..," she trailed off, looking around at the audience. Lilly was smiling, which gave her courage to continue.
"I want to, I just dont want to get married straight away."
"Me either, so we'll take it slow."
Justina nodded, reaching forward to kiss Finn.
The children giggled as the two kissed. Lilly looked up at Scotty an kissed him lighty.

"Lil, they said they want to take it slow. Don't push them," Scotty wraped his hands around her and kissed her lightly on the neck.
"I'm not pushing them," she turned around clearly mad he would sugest that, "I just...I want to be included in planning."
"I don't recognize you, Lil. Where's the tough detective?"
"You don't like me being...girly girl?" she kissed him passionately
"I love it. Don't push them though," he murmured against her lips.
"I promise. Remember when we were so much in love?"
"You mean we ain't anymore?"
"Oh we are. At least I am."
Scotty leaned in for a kiss and gently pushed onto a bed, "I think I am too," he teased.
Lilly gasped when Scotty slid his hand under her bra and enjoyed every second when she suddenly grabbed his hand stoping him realizing Matt is asleep in their bed, "Will you carry him to his bed?"
"You sure you're ready for him to sleep alone?"
"I think so...but he can stay if you don't want any action tonight."
Scotty got up quickly and took Matty in his arms.
"And hurry up Valens before I change my mind."

Lilly gasped when Scotty slid his hand under her bra and enjoyed every second when she suddenly grabbed his hand stoping him realizing Matt is asleep in their bed, "Will you carry him to his bed?"
"You sure you're ready for him to sleep alone?"
"I think so...but he can stay if you don't want any action tonight."
Scotty got up quickly and took Matty in his arms.
"And hurry up Valens before I change my mind."


Justina stayed over that night, sleeping in the same room as Finn. Lilly woke up to Isabella in her bed.
"What are you doing honey?"
"Is Finn and Justina marrying?"
"Not yet honey."
Bella nodded and ran out of the room. She came back with Matty in her arms. He jumped into bed, cuddling up to Lilly.
"Where the other guys?" Scotty asked, rubbing his sleepy eyes.
"With Finn and Justina, there making breakfast."
Lilly smiled, ushering the kids out of the room. Scotty quickly threw on a shirt and followed.
"Hey there."
Finn had his hands wrapped around Justina as the two tried to make pancakes. Finn looked around smiling at Lilly.
"Glad to see your finally awake."
Lilly blushed, holding onto Scotty's hands.
"So how are...things?"
"There good."
Lilly took Scotty into the lounge, pulling him onto the couch.
"What should we get them for their wedding present?"
"God Lil, will you slow it down already."
"I just want to be ready."
"Give them time. At least wait to they announce a date. It could be 4 years from now."
Lilly smiled, knowing she was getting too far into their relationship. "Okay, well keep me entertained, so I'm distracted."
Scotty seductively winked at her, stopping when the rest of the family entered with breakfast.

Lilly took Scotty into the lounge, pulling him onto the couch.
"What should we get them for their wedding present?"
"God Lil, will you slow it down already."
"I just want to be ready."
"Give them time. At least wait to they announce a date. It could be 4 years from now."
Lilly smiled, knowing she was getting too far into their relationship. "Okay, well keep me entertained, so I'm distracted."
Scotty seductively winked at her, stopping when the rest of the family entered with breakfast.

"You'll have cute kids?" Finn stormed into the kitchen angry
"Uhmm, thank you. We already have cute kids," Lil smiled
"Oh you know what I'm talking about. Two weeks into engagement and you're already talking to Justina about our future kids ? Sis, you have to stop pushing us."
"I didn't push...I just happened to stumble upon that."
"Do not lie!"
"I'm not, the topic just came up. Besides you're a liar, not me. What's the deal with your parents not knowing about engagement?"
"I didn't lie...I just omitted that fact. I don't need my mom suffocating us. It's enough I have you to deal with," Finn looked down, "There's no point telling them anyway. There'll be no wedding." Finn's voice barely above whisper.
"What? You wanted it and she did say yes."
Finn hestitated, "She won't marry a guy who can't support her."
Lilly observed him realizing what he's talking 'bout, "Finding a job in your career choice with assualt record is going to be hard, but you said you're ready to face the consequences."
"Well, I'm not, ok? So engagement's off," Finn tried to hide his tears as he walked out.
Lilly thought for a minute, she grabbed a phone dialing a number, "Joseph? Yeah, it's Lilly."

"You'll have cute kids?" Finn stormed into the kitchen angry
"Uhmm, thank you. We already have cute kids," Lil smiled
"Oh you know what I'm talking about. Two weeks into engagement and you're already talking to Justina about our future kids ? Sis, you have to stop pushing us."
"I didn't push...I just happened to stumble upon that."
"Do not lie!"
"I'm not, the topic just came up. Besides you're a liar, not me. What's the deal with your parents not knowing about engagement?"
"I didn't lie...I just omitted that fact. I don't need my mom suffocating us. It's enough I have you to deal with," Finn looked down, "There's no point telling them anyway. There'll be no wedding." Finn's voice barely above whisper.
"What? You wanted it and she did say yes."
Finn hestitated, "She won't marry a guy who can't support her."
Lilly observed him realizing what he's talking 'bout, "Finding a job in your career choice with assualt record is going to be hard, but you said you're ready to face the consequences."

"Yeah why?"
"Well my brother is getting engaged. And I need to get everything ready for the party."
"This is not gonna get between me and you will it?" Joseph asked, his voice croaky.
"Definitely not, I love Scotty remember."
Joseph sighed on the other end. "Yeah I know, but I'll always have a thing for you."
"I won't Joseph, I moved on, I only want Scotty."
"Yeah okay, should I come over tomorrow?"
"No, meet me later tonight, around 8:30 two blocks from my house."
"Oh so Scotty doesn't know?"
"He does, we just wnat it to be a surprise for them."
"Okay, I need to go, see you then."
Lilly hung up, knowing Scotty wouldn't be happy when he found, especially when the engagment is off.

"I need some help, I remember you telling me your girlfriend is some kinda engagement party thingy."
"Yeah why?"

"Scotty, I'll be right back. Have to go buy sugar," with that Lilly left the house and drove away to meet Joseph. Five minutes later he got into her car.
"Hey, Lilly," he leaned in to kiss her on the cheek but she moved away.
"I told you I'm not interested."
"I was just being friendly. Anyway, shouldn't you meet with my girlfriend and not me?"
"I need your help first."
"Help leaving Scotty?" she shot Joseph a look, "Jeez, don't kill. I'm kidding...So what kind of help?"
"My brother needs help-"
"You have a brother?" Joseph looked shocked.
"Oh...I haven't told you about him, right? He's my half-brother actually. My father's son from second marriage."
"I'm glad to hear your father came back."
"Oh, I didn't tell you about that either."
"Nope. Besides you having 6 kids was shocing enough." Lilly smiled and Joseph couldn't help but smile also. He couldn't believe that was the same girl he dated. She seamed so...happy. Very happy he thought and instantly knew that she will not leave Scotty for him or for anyone else for that matter. "So...your brother.."
"Finn."
"Finn. What help does he need?"
"He's graduating soon. Psychology. Wants to work as social worker..."
"Good. We need people. What's his problem then?"
"He has assault charge on his record," Lilly looked down but quickly added, "he was deffending family's honour and it got out of hand. It's not gonna happen again."
"And you want me to get him a job. Push his papers in right direction."
"Yeah. He wants to break off the engagement because he's embarased bout not getting a job."
Joseph smiled when Lilly's eyes met his, "You know I still love you, Lil."
"Joseph, please..."
"I love you that's why I'll help him. For you." Joseph took a piece of paper out and wrote something down, "Here. Number to my girlfriend, Annie. Call her and plan the party. I'll see what I can do about Finn."

"Where's sugar?" Scotty looked over his shoulder when Lil enterd the house
"What? Oh. Store was closed."
"Closed? It's just 9. How can they be close already?"
"Everyone's sick." Lil disapeared upstairs
"Sick?" Scotty got up from couch and went upstairs but Lilly locked herself in the bathroom, shower running. "Something's not right," he murmured to himself but decided not to question Lilly just yet.

When Lilly finally came out, Scotty was lying in bed. She quietly snuck into bed, acting as if she were asleep.
"I know your awake."
Lilly did not respond, she held her hands tight, hoping he wouldn't notice anhy movement.
"Where the hell were you?"
Lilly sat up, staring at him. "I told you already."
"Don't make up poo poo."
"Scotty-"
"NO! I want our relationship to no be based on lies."
Lilly sighed, running her hands through her hair. "Look okay, I went to see Joseph."
Scotty glared at her, thinking she was not faithful to him.
"Him?"
"Yeah."
"Anyone but him Lil."
"No Scotty it's not like that."
Scotty didn't listen to a thing, he stormed out of them room, slaming the door behind him.
"Scotty," she called, wanting to explain her story before he bit her head off.

Early the next morning, Scotty returned to his bedroom. The door squeaked as he searched for clothes for the day.

Early the next morning, Scotty returned to his bedroom. The door squeaked as he searched for clothes for the day.
"Scotty can we talk?" Lilly asked, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

Lilly went through the rest of the day, Scotty ignoring her and not paying any attention to her whatso ever. Lilly knew she would have to fix it before it got worse.

When Lilly heard Scotty finished taking shower she unlocked the bathroom door and went inside blocking the door.
"Scotty, you have to let me explain."
"I don't have to do anything. Step away," Scotty tried to reach for the knob. Lilly grabbed his hand, "Please, listen."
He pulled his hand away and clenched his fist and teeth.
"Calm down, Scotty. There's nothing between me and Joseph. You're the only man in my life."
"Really? Then what's with the making bull excuses? Sneaking off to see him? Huh, Lil?"
"I shoukld have told you I'm going to meet him, but I was afraid."
"Afraid? Nah, Lil. You don't have to be afraid. I don't care who you're cheating with. I think I'll call my ex too and marriage? We'll just pretend so kids will think we're happy."
Lil's eyes watered, she was very hurt by his words even though she knew he's just being sarcastic, "Scotty, let me explain."
"I don't want to hear it. Move away from the door!"
Lil knew letting him out will only make things worse. She moved closer to him and caught him off guard when she placed a kiss on his lips. It payed off as he placed his arms around her and began placing small kisses along her neck.
"Will you listen now?"
"Lil...don't...ruin it...by talking," he mumbled between the kisses.
"Oh, so you're with me just for sex?"
"Nah...but..." he slowly unbuttoned her shirt, slid it off and moved his hands to undo her bra.
She closed her eyes trying to hold her thoughts together, "I'm trying to help Finn. And I need Joseph's help to do so."
Scotty immidiatelly stepped back, "Great way to ruin it, Lil."
She closed a gap between them placing another kiss on kis lips, "Forgive me for not telling you. I will include you from now on. Promise."
"Will you meet with him again?" by her silence Scotty knew the answer to that, "Do you have to meet him again?"
"Yes, but not because I want to. Believe me."
"I want to be there every time you meet with him then. And you'll have to pay for lying to me."
"Oh do I? And how should I do that?" she teased
Scotty winked at her and grinned, "You perfectly well know how."

She closed her eyes trying to hold her thoughts together, "I'm trying to help Finn. And I need Joseph's help to do so."
Scotty immidiatelly stepped back, "Great way to ruin it, Lil."
She closed a gap between them placing another kiss on kis lips, "Forgive me for not telling you. I will include you from now on. Promise."
"Will you meet with him again?" by her silence Scotty knew the answer to that, "Do you have to meet him again?"
"Yes, but not because I want to. Believe me."
"I want to be there every time you meet with him then. And you'll have to pay for lying to me."
"Oh do I? And how should I do that?" she teased
Scotty winked at her and grinned, "You perfectly well know how."


The next time they met with Joseph, Scotty felt extremely nervous. He clutched Lilly's hand as he drove to the cafe they were meeting at.
Scotty opened the door for Lilly when they arrived, pulling her close and putting his hand on the small of his back as they walked along.
Scotty clenched his jaw as he spotted Joseph. They didn't tell him that Scotty was coming along, and his presence made Scotty angry. He sat with a bunch of flowers in his hand.
He stood up when he saw them coming, his eyes darkening.
"Hey Joseph." Lilly stared at the bunch of flowers, then looked over at Scotty.
"There are for you." Joseph passed the flowers to Lilly, smiling deeply at her.
Lilly pulled Scotty into the one chair and sat on his lap.
"Let's get this over and done with."
"I got him a job, from a friend."
Lilly nodded, pulling Scotty's arms around her waist. "What is it?"
"For now he'll be storing things, don't worry, he'll get paid $1000 a week."
"Just for that?" Scotty asked, his suspicious eyes locking on Joseph.
"I told my mate it was for someone special."
"Your ex-girlfriend?" Scotty asked.
"Just some one special. And I am trying to get him a better job, but I'm still looking."
"Okay, well I need all the details."
Joseph passed Lilly a flyer, with a piece of paper inside it. "It's all there."
"Now, this assualt charger, I can get him off the hook, as long as he stays on probations for a year."
"Sorry?" Scotty asked, unable to keep track of everything.
"If he doesn't get into trouble with the law for a year, than the assualt charge will stay off his history."
"Is it off already?"
"Yes."
"Okay that's all we needed, let's go Lil."
Scotty pushed Lilly up, grabbing her hand and leading her out.
"Thanks and bye," she yelled to Joseph as they left.

"There's one more thing I haven't told you 'bout," hearing that Scotty pushed on the brake stopping in the middle of the road.
"I'm sorry, Scotty. Can you pull to the side at least."
"Does it involve Kite?"
"No."
"Ray?"
"No. It's connected to Joseph but he's not directly involved."
"Don't lie again, Lil."
"His girlfriend is party planner. She's helping me with Finn's engagement party."
"Oh, so current girlfriend of your ex is helping you with a party for your brother."
"Yes, that's the truth."
"And is Joseph there when you're planning this party."
"No. Just her. Annie. You'll meet her at the party."
"Jeez, Lil. Will Joseph attend too?"
"No. Just her to coordinate everything."
Scotty sighed heavily, "When is this party?"
"Next weenend at our house. Don't tell Finn coz it's a surprise."
"I don't like it. The fact that you and Joseph's current..."
"It's just business."
"Still don't like it and you lied again, Lil."
"You're suggesting that I'll have to pay for it?"
Scotty chuckled, "Now look who's in it just for sex."

Two days before the party everything was set. Only thing to do was to make sure both Finn and Justina will attend. Lil went to studio appartment above their garage that Finn surently occupied and saw him sitting on the couch drinking whiskey.
"Finn?" she met his bloodshot eyes
"What's up sis?" he was clearly drunk
She took the whiskey bottle and went to pour it out to the sink, "You know how I feel about drinking. That kind of drinking that you done."
"F** you!" he wanted to throw a pillow at her but missed by a lot
She got mad at first but saw tears running down his cheeks. Lil sat down by him and he placed his head on her lap, "I love her so damn much and all she does is push me away."
Lil maternal instinct kicked in, she hugged him stroking his hair, "Shhh. Calm down. What happened?"
"I don't know. She just doesn't want to see me. She came by, took all her things from here and now she doesn't pick up when I call."
"Did you do something?"
"She said I did but didn't say what!" he tried to got up but stumbled and fell back to the couch, "And I don't know what I did." Lil helped him lie down and covered him with a blanket.
"Sis?"
"Yeah?"
"What did I do?"
"I don't know but everything's going to be ok."
Finn closed his eyes and fell asleep right away. Lilly decided to drive to Justina and get to the bottom of this.
"Hey, it's Lilly. Will you let me in?" she said through the door. Moment later door opened and Lil saw Justina in sweatpants and sweatshirt, her eyes tired, hair a mess. Lil's jaw dropped as she remembered she herself looked like that three times in her life already, "Don't tell me you're pregnant."
Justina's eyes filled with tears right away and she went to sit down on the chair, "Fine. I won't tell you that."

"Hey, it's Lilly. Will you let me in?" she said through the door. Moment later door opened and Lil saw Justina in sweatpants and sweatshirt, her eyes tired, hair a mess. Lil's jaw dropped as she remembered she herself looked like that three times in her life already, "Don't tell me you're pregnant."
Justina's eyes filled with tears right away and she went to sit down on the chair, "Fine. I won't tell you that."

Lilly smiled, taking a seat next to her. "Are you pregnant?"
"No...I thought I was, but I'm not."
Lilly nodded, taking a hold of her hand.
"You want to tell me what's going on?"
"Is Finn okay?" Justina asked, wiping the smudged makeup off her face.
"He's drunk, but he'll be better tomorrow."
"I don't know Lil, I just. I'm not good with any relationships."
"It's okay, I wasn't either, but I found Scotty. And look at me now, my house is full of kids."
Justina gigglied, squeezing her hands.
"But what if it doesn't work out. I don't want to go through another thing like that."
"I was scared too, but I risked, because I knew I didn't want to be alone for the rest of my life."
Justina nodded, knowing being alone wouldn't be a nice way ot end her life.
"Does Finn even love me?"
"That's a really stupid things to ask. He asked you to marry him didn't he?"
"Yeah, but it'll be hard for him to deal with my problems."
"Scotty dealt with mine, I'm sure he will deal with you."
"Okay, well I think I want to go rest, but maybe you could talk to me tomorrow."
"Okay, oh and I need you to come over to my house on Saturday, were having a party."
"What for?"
"Just a get together, don't miss it."
Lilly kisse her on the cheek, and left.

Lilly smiled, taking a seat next to her. "Are you pregnant?"
"No...I thought I was, but I'm not."
Lilly nodded, taking a hold of her hand.
"You want to tell me what's going on?"
"Is Finn okay?" Justina asked, wiping the smudged makeup off her face.
"He's drunk, but he'll be better tomorrow."
"I don't know Lil, I just. I'm not good with any relationships."
"It's okay, I wasn't either, but I found Scotty. And look at me now, my house is full of kids."
Justina gigglied, squeezing her hands.
"But what if it doesn't work out. I don't want to go through another thing like that."
"I was scared too, but I risked, because I knew I didn't want to be alone for the rest of my life."
Justina nodded, knowing being alone wouldn't be a nice way ot end her life.
"Does Finn even love me?"
"That's a really stupid things to ask. He asked you to marry him didn't he?"
"Yeah, but it'll be hard for him to deal with my problems."
"Scotty dealt with mine, I'm sure he will deal with you."
"Okay, well I think I want to go rest, but maybe you could talk to me tomorrow."
"Okay, oh and I need you to come over to my house on Saturday, were having a party."
"What for?"
"Just a get together, don't miss it."
Lilly kisse her on the cheek, and left.

Lilly stopped by Justina's appartment the next day on her way to mall
"Wanna go shopping with me?"
"Shopping?"
"Yeah. Shopping. I've been told it's a great way for girls to have fun. Talk. Bond."
Justina chuckled, "I'm not 'shopping' kinda girl."
"I wasn't either but people do change. Come on, try it."
Two hours later Lilly and Justina were enjoying a cup of coffee after buying some clothes.
"It wasn't bad. Didn't know trip to the mall can be...fun"
Lil smiled, "I had a great time too."
"What is it?" she continued when Justina looked to the ground and smile dissapeared from her lips.
"How did you do it? How did you find joy after all you've been through?"
"To be honest, I don't know. I think it found me when I finally lowered my guard. When Isa appeared in my life. You know she's not...mine, right?"
"Yeah. Finn told me. Weren't you affraid you won't be a good mother to her?"
"I'm still affraid of that, but I got Scotty, my boss, my friends from work, my dad and Finn, and...you. We all got each others back. But I was blind for a long time, didn't see it," Lil moved closer to Justina and placed a hand on her shoulder, "conversation we're having, 5 years ago it wouldn't be possible to have. Now look at me. I have bunch of kids at home when I never thought of ever even having one. And they all give me strength each day"
"I don't want kids. That's why I withdrew from Finn. I though I am...you know and thought I have to take care of it."
"Whether or not you'll plan for it to happen, Finn will be there for you. He's patient and stubborn and very affraid to loose you."
Tears run down Justina's cheeks and they sat in silence for a while when suddenly younger woman spoke, "Look at the time. I have to go."
Lilly took a napkin and gently wiped tears away form Justina's face, "Trust me. Opening up is good."
Justina let out a small smile, "Tomorrow's a party, right? Should I bring something?"
"Nah. Just be there. Come on, I'll drive you home."
