Hi lsr, Yes, I noticed that. Was wondering if something more is going to happen next season. Or if it was just a moment for the shippers. If, it was just for shippers---it was good. Scotty saving Lilly, Scotty checking on Lilly about her mom.... Yeah I have to say, it made this shipper very happy. I'm not sure if they meant that line to end up over Scotty's scene or not (I have a tendency to read into things a TINNNNNNY bit too much) but nevertheless, I was liking the entire parallel about love and how Scotty was there when Lilly needed him most. (albeit she still got shot but whatever, he did his best lol)

The hand holding btwn them was symbolic in the way of Ellen saying ' I'm always here for you' Mmmmm.... Notice the dead flower in Lilly's living room after Ellen had past?? Rather symbolic too. I was just going to mention that; also flows well with Lilly's feelings.

Sorry about the double posting but the interrogation room is symbolic for Scotty and Lilly. They first met outside the room EWWW!! Full circle, huh??? Mmmmm.... Notice the dead flower in Lilly's living room after Ellen had past?? Rather symbolic too. I was just going to mention that; also flows well with Lilly's feelings. And for me, a Kat fan, they had her wear that mysterious Black Leather Jacket throughout the episode; and they even toyed us with Kat holding that durn pendant we can't figure out!!!

I loved how Scotty raced into the building, he knew after what happened in " The Woods' that Lilly needed to be saved. I must say Kathryn Morris did an outstanding job in this episode especially at the end where she was lying there in the operating room.
I think this is one of the rare episodes where someone taked in during the ending montage the last one was ' The Runner'

Aw man--what an idiot I am. I just spoiled myself ALMOST for the first time this season. Hey, it was the season finale--couldn't help myself. Now I know what's gonna happen. Pfff. Good thing I don't have too long to wait! You'd think I coulda refrained myself till tomorrow. Oh well. I canNOT believe they killed Ellen off . Knew it was gonna happen eventually, but I was enjoying the arc and I'm sorry it's over. Guess getting shot and taking care of the mom weren't two things that could be dealt with simultaneously. I'll so miss Meredith Baxter though. If you read this thread--your storyline was definitely worth it. And as for Scotty getting all emotional... well DUH. That's all I can say. They're friends and coworkers, and one of them's in danger. Wouldn't YOU get mushy? I know I sure as hell would. Can't wait till tomorrow. Can't believe work and my residency stand in the way. Grrr.

I LOVED this episode!! Soooo awesome!! I'll have more coherent things to say about it tomorrow, I promise. By then, I should hopefully have stopped the squealing. In the meantime, I do have a few coherent thoughts and caps at PTR. Just wow!! I do want to say that I'm not a Lilly/Scotty pairing fan, and I never think that the show is trying to tell us something where they're concerned, however, I did pick up on all of the things mentioned here tonight. Hmm...

Wowwiiieee This was one of the best episodes I cried when I saw Stillman was shot I cried when I heard Ellen died I cried when I saw that Lilly was shot OMGs.. OMgs.. SPOILER!! * * * * * * * * * * * What story!! I kind of questioned why was this guy in the room with the victim? I thought that was unusual. Then when it was shown, he was murderer I knew it!! I'm just so upset that Stillman got shot..and then Lilly. Lilly calling out to her mom.. woww That means that she did see Ellen's spirit.. This was a suspenseful and ....... aww words can't describe this episode, but it was one of the best..

So did Scotty shot Lilly by accident or the gunman did? I think the gunman shot her as Scotty was shooting at him thru that glass Interrogation window. The gunman had his gun aimed at Lilly and as Scotty was shooting at a different direction at the gunman, so no Scotty couldn't possibly have shot Lilly

. Lilly calling out to her mom.. woww That means that she did see Ellen's spirit.. I kinda thought that too the way the camera was presented like it was hovering over her like a sprirt does. Maybe Ellen was there watching over her daughter DId anyone notice when Scotty held Lilly after she had gotten shot, hat he was starting cry. I did cry when Lilly got shot, but didn anyone notice how her shirt went from white to blue in a matter of seconds??

Yeah, he didn't realize that she had been shot The gunman must have got a shot off when Scotty first shot out the window then shot him. I also saw the expressions of the others as they took her out in a Kearney (sp?)

I think Lilly has a good possiblity of suviving, since in the last scene she was seen breathing on her own just having an oxygen tube in her nose. But why didn't they put her under would it be better that way??
@trb- I meant How in one Scene Lilly's shirt was white then it was blue ( I could be wrong it's late here)

Stillman was shot on the other side too, but they were attending to him at the office....

some may disagree with me here but it looked like lily was suicidal at some point. she was really gung-ho with her cowboy-like confrontation with the killer like she was begging him to put her out at the same time knowing he was going to be shot. it was almost like her desire for self-preservation was nil compared to "the woods". her guilt in not handling her sitatuation with her mother well really put her over the edge. i think morris' performance was too good that it almost made me feel empathetic to her character. excellent season finale!
