I'm wondering if maybe it's not just a term they made up for the show. I googled it after watching it and it doesn't come out anywhere. I think if it were a standard police word, we'd have scores of pages about it...

They're gonna reair it. Edited by Naj to comply with content for this forum. I only hope my cable provider is just as clever. Of course I'll be soooo spoiled from reading what you guys have to say about The Woods. But I still know I won't be able to stay away. So don't be shy... post!!

According to the futon critic this episode is reairing saturday May the 14th. Definately a good idea on CBS' part. This will put give viewers who missed this ep the first time around a chance to get caught up with the whole George situation. EDITED content of this post to comply with this forum guidelines by Naj.

I watched a rerun of Mindhunters today, and didn't like it half as much as the first time. Why??!! Maybe I'm too critical now, after having discussed it and turned it over in my mind so much. The whole idea of George seemed farfetched tonight, for some reason. I didn't buy him so much as a serial killer. He played around with the cops too much, didn't behave as a serial killer who didn't want to be caught would (not that I'd know what a real serial killer's like anyhow). And some of the things he said he couldn't possibly have known--even working in archive. It led to some great interrogation scenes, though (still loved the one between George and Lil). But overall I was kinda disappointed. I used to love this episode. I hate it when this happens!

I had some of the same thoughts about "Mind Hunters" upon initial viewing. It seemed rather far fetched to me that he'd gone unnoticed for so long and that he knew so much about the detectives. I also couldn't believe how he got away. It just seems like the detectives could have gotten him to confess. It really wasn't one of my favorite episodes. That being said, I did like how this episode formula differed from all the rest and the character of George was very interestingly written and expertly portrayed by John Billingsley so I will most likely watch the rerun on May 14th but I do understand your points Disasterfreak.

I felt the way the detectives went about going after George was poor judement. They just should have kept casually talking to him while he was working not taking him into the interrogation room. That was too obvious and too far fetched for me to make that whole scenaro believable. I still think George is creepy though.

Hi...... I see that Mind Hunters airs the 14th May. and The Woods 22th May. Just asking..... Wouldn't it be better if CBS air Mind Hunters the saturday before The Woods.

At least it's better than what my cable provider did. They reaired it a few weeks ago... and won't air the Woods until at least June. So we'll be pretty lost.

CBS is now airing this on Sunday 8/7, instead of Schadenfreude.

That final shot of Jeffries & Vera having a drink just sitting there staring and not even talking is so true to life with people you work and hang with. Anyone want a vodka orange? :smile9:

I'll take one Naj, but can you hold the vodka? Haha.
And what you said is so true. I can't even count the hours I have spent with friends and people I work with, just sitting and saying nothing. Sometimes, silence speaks for itself.

Yes, so true with friends and co-workers. After a long, hard day, there's just nothing left to say but to know there's someone there with you sharing in your feelings and showing support, means so much.
