Wow! Lily had an emotional scene. More tidbits about her life. She said something like: she wanted everything too and was too proud to ask for help--she waited too long. What happened to her?

*SPOILERSSS!!!!!!*
I thought the scene where Rebecca got murdered was so intense. How that guy could just blow Sean off after the murder.

Hi Falling, What is so in your face about these crimes is the coldness of people in real life. How it's all about selfish reasons they commit crimes. There is no sanctity of consideration of life. Even Rebecca's mom wasn't in touch with her own daughter. That is so sad and it happens everywhere all over the world. ~Naj

Trust Detective Rush to get through to the kid. That emotional scene was intense!! she DEFINITELY had some issues as a child. sounds like the home situation wasn't very homey. and the preview for next week's show.... phew! *KINDA SPOILER* The fact that she shouted "Gun!" in the middle of a scene draws me in to the next episode, but now i gotta wait until next sunday !

Loved the fact that we learned more about Lily's past ... also the little scene between Scotty and Stillman about Alyssa.

Who is the actress that played Rebecca. We have a running arguement about who she is.

Pretty good episode if I do say so myself. Loved the scene where Lilly spills talks about her childhood , I still wish it wouldn't take so long to learn some stuff about her. No kite. this makes ccfan very very sad.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I really liked this episode. It was very intense as usual. What a great scene between Lilly and Sean, and so well executed by KM. I loved the continuity from Greed - Scotty and Alyssa. I agree with you Naj about the link to next week. CCFan - I noticed that there was no Kite as well, but I thought that the scene with Lilly and her HS friend Lindsey (?) was too cute. Did you see the smile on Lilly's face when Lindsey brought up Kite? Also, I'm glad they didn't focus on the relationship this week after two pretty relationship intense episodes. As much as I love these two, I don't want them to become the focus. I like the storyline as a secondary. JMO

Good thoughts from the group, many thanks. This was another sharp script, from Laurie Arent (story editor on the sadly departed "Boomtown").

Remember when Lily asked Shawn what he would when his daughter came home with a purple foot...
Do you think that this happened to HER when she was little??

I don't know about purple foot but im guessing she was in a similar situation where they probably didn't have enough money to buy new shoes or clothes.

That was a great episode as usual, this show just seems to turn out winner after winner. The only thing I didn't like about this episode was that I knew the killer was going to be Michael Nouri because he seems to play that kind of role, so I wish they would have gotten an actor I didn't know then I wouldn't have even suspected that character. ;D
I loved how this case just kept getting more and more confusing with who the girl really was and who was the father of her baby or did she ever have a baby, it just kept you going.
BTW- I knew that victim from her stint on Days of Our Lives but I see that she has done a lot of guest spots.

I must admit for me it was almost heartbreaking to see Lilly fighting back tears when she's telling Sean that wanted everything but was too proud to ask. Makes you see what a great performer Kathryn really is. She made me cry with that one. God, she is SO GOOD. I try to think of someone doing better work on tv right now, but can't think of a soul.

Yeah. i had to watch the episode 3+ times just because i couldnt forget it. it was really a little scary, how Kathryn could pull me right in. And she still can, and will still be able to next season. o yeah and a little Kite in there too... ;D
