That was one time that she wasn't lying, you can really see the intesity in Lilly's eyes ; the hurt that she still felt from long ago.

Really liked the Lilly/Sean scene and I do wonder if maybe Lilly needed help when she was little too. I don't understand why the killer didn't just take Sean after he killed her. I liked the kid who played Sean, I thought he did good. Loved the part with Lindsey and Lilly talking about going out that night or if she had to fly a kite.

Great episode. One tiny quibble- I can't understand why if the original coroner noted Rebecca / Linda had never had children, no one ever did anything. "Okay, the coroner's report says she never gave birth, there's a kid here, oh never mind, let's just give him to a foster home". I mean, they didn't even suspect Sean wasn't Rebecca's kid until Frannie looked at the autopsy report. (I'm just going to fanwank that Gil Sherman was the assigned on the case, and he was drunk when looking at the report). This was a really good Lilly episode. I loved her scenes with Sean- they were really powerful. I loved her talking about her own childhood, and being too proud to ask for help. I have a weakness for episodes with an asshole victim- they're always quite interesting portrayals in how some people mess with the lives of those around them. Rebecca / Linda wasn't quite as bad as Charles Danville in the episode before, or Nash Cavanagh in the episode afterward. Why did she kidnap a child instead of having her own? Sean was so happy with his real parents. The episode really showed how hard it is to be a single mom, even if you stole the kid . I felt Rebecca's desperation. I also could see how scarred she was from her mother's cold indifference. I mean her mom didn't even seem upset by her murder. That's harsh. Loved the scene at the end, with Sean being given a second chance. I like to think that after jail, he got to connect with his real family and start afresh.
