I also notice the light tones from Pete's perception; voices echoing.. When he saw Lilly in the cells; dresses whatever you want to think she is; I heard children's voices laughing in the background during his perception.

Talking for details... Lil's wearing a Burberry coat...! When she arrives in the office after the court and puts it aside, the particular pattern of the label is quite obvious on the interior of the coat.
hmm... I really prefered this one from the first seasons with the red interior. I don't know but I think that great labels don't fit well with her character...

Who cares are the label of clothing, it's how the character acts and behaves in the show is the point.

Getting back onto episode, it wasn't bad but different. I knew somehow that ADA Bell was guilty of something; that just happened to be not seeing his daughter. I felt pretty much bad for him.

Oh yes, even if it wasn't shown on the episode. I do think that Lilly could relate that to her. I know it's different because ADA Bell cares for his daughther and Cooper never cared about Lil until now but still... in the end It was good he had more stickers on his briefcase |

I disagree with that, I think that Cooper always cared about Lilly. It probably was complicated w/ Ellen. That's beside the point, it just shows that both Cooper and ADA Bell care a lot about their daughters.

But I mean: He never contacted her apart from the letters. She needed him and It's like he cares now. The episode "Officer down" made me realize it. He kind of felt guilty... I like him but still he did not care too much about Lilly

There are cases where the father gets tired with the mother's behaviour and gives up. It is mentioned by ADA, too. Keeping in mind that Cooper probably wasn't even married to Ellen Rush, that made things more difficult.
But Cooper could have just stayed in town, tried to see his girl, gone to her graduation, confronted Ellen as an inappropriate mother (he would have found plenty of points unfortunately...). He avoided this part of his life.
He cares now but then...

People make mistakes, but that's in the past. I'm glad Cooper's back in Lilly's life; she needs one parent that isn't a trainwreck

I liked how Kathryn was able to show how emotionally supportive that Lilly could be; especially with Pete. She did a fine job of acting out those scenes.

Her dad is something good for her life.
Morris is great actress. She is expressive in a gentle but clear way.

The actor that plays ADA Bell is Jonathan Lapaglia, his brother Anthony is on Without A trace... Jonathan has had roles in New York Undercover, The District, and Seven Days... I've been a fan of his since NY Undercover...He was born in 1967 so I don't think he would be too old for Lily!

I don't think that's the direction the writers are going with, he's just the ADA helping the detectives out .There's nothing between him or Lil.
