Thanks electrophile. Lilly was dressed with that green stuff like a Martian... or something Lilly shot Gabriel because he deserved it... However, It's OK
When Lilly discovered Rachel was harassing another female employee where she worked at I heard Lilly said Rachel had made insurance fraud, check fraud and the chocolate thing

She wasn't dressed as a Martian, it looked more like a spy or some kind of double agent.....it went along with Pete's illness. I thought she looked great, honestly.

I liked it a lot... It was funny to see her that way. Another thing, I knew Pete was gonna see Julie.

I rated it as good. I liked: flashback style, in particular the "schizophrenic" ones; musics; ADA Bell; Lilly's green look. Oh, and Jeffries is back!

Tired of Lilly's Daddy Issue's, oh C'mon at least it's not taking making Lilly nuts like Ellen Rush had done back in S4. There wasn't any in this episode, I really disagree with the person whom had stated that.
Anyways, I doubt the writers would even start another Lilly/ADA Relationship; her and Bell just seem to be good friends in a professional way.
I did like the episode a lot, the court thing revisting what happened last episode was very good. I liked how we saw how Pete saw things in a distorted way ( Lilly as a spy, Scotty with that security badge), and the music was pretty good. Rush Valens listening to " Imagine" while trying to figure out stuff.
Well Done

Because I need to know. I always pay attention to small details. Thought you knew the answer... Do you mean Vera eating the chocolate at the end, it was from Jefferies gift basket?

Like someone else stated before, it's focus on the "second hand" victim like in Maternal Instincts or Saving Patrick Bubley, where solving the murder was critical for Sean or Patrick. I always enjoy when they change a bit the formula. It was unquestionably focused on Pete since we follow mainly him in the opening flashback, then he appears in a quick additional flashback as told by his roommate, and finally the closing montage starts when Pete is "safe" and not after the doer confession, like it's almost always the case. It was the same in Saving Patrick Bubley, Lilly goes to the box room with the kid before the closing montage. I think the opening flashback was one of this season's best and I really liked the difference in the cinematography with the colorful noisy schizophrenic vision where a lot of things seem to happen opposite to the color-dull flashbacks with the shrink. Her flashbacks were purposely brief and poor, I think, because the investigation was more a compelling journey into Pete's mind. I tried not to think of the whodunit, because clearly it wasn't very challenging... But it was unexpected that out of the 4 potential doers (Pete, Vanessa, Salazar and Galton) 3 had a mental disorder. Concerning the "non case" part, I liked a lot of stuff: - Lilly and Scotty interactions (why did he cover for her about keeping Pete longer?) - Lilly and the clumsy/always resourceful DA (didn't even think of Lilly's father during the hello kitty briefcase scene) although I hope they are not setting him as a new love interest - Will's return, yeah! (was the pink bag that Lilly was carrying in the elevator a present for Will? What do you think it was?) I appreciate that they are finally giving into more continuity, but Lilly already in court for shooting last week's kid? Will already back at PPD? How long ago was the last episode supposed to be? Anyway, overall a fairly good episode. 4. The frauds the blonde girl did insurance fraud/check fraud and the chocolate thing? WTH! Maybe I did not understand very well. Lilly says something like check fraud, assurance fraud and SHOPLIFTING "chocolate thing" that's funny

Thanks zoe... It's nice to see you here! - Lilly and the clumsy/always resourceful DA (didn't even think of Lilly's father during the hello kitty briefcase scene) although I hope they are not setting him as a new love interest I appreciate that they are finally giving into more continuity, but Lilly already in court for shooting last week's kid? Will already back at PPD? How long ago was the last episode supposed to be? 1-I don't think he will be Lilly's love interest. he's like old for her 2-The time issue, I also was wondering the same. Does that process take only 1 week?

1. It appears as if It's actually less than a week, Jefferies seems to have been in the hospital for about three days. Last we had seen him, he looked pretty stable.
What is it with everyone assuming just because there's a look; automatically thinks that certain people will hook up. It's silly and dumb, plus ADA Bell and Lilly is just professional. There's nothing that's going to happen between them. C'mon people it's getting pretty old about thinking that.

Well we know that last week's episode took place on March 15th, the same date the episode was airing. It would be foolish to assume that every time they solve a case it's always on Sunday (in the CC world, not ours)
Someone earlier mentioned about how Scotty should have known about the cheeking (and that other term). I think they did this for two purposes. 1. If Scotty showed knowledge of these terms, then his playing stupid about NPD would have fell through. 2. By Scotty asking what those terms mean, and being given the answers, we as the audience are given the answer.
Not sure about you, but if they just said the word cheeking without explaining it I would have spent five minutes wondering what they meant.
I liked how once again, Lilly played her cards when dealing with Pete. When she mentioned getting off the phone with the CIA I couldn't help but laugh a little. Not because it was funny, but because once again Lilly shows that she can really BS with the best of them.

I did like how the voices were distorted, and how Pete's own perception was much different that in reality. That really drew me more into the episode, but from the beginning I knew that it was the doctor. Who else could it be, I doubted Pete.

I'm still loving the Martian Spy Lilly However, About the time issue: Gabriel is in court in some days: Is it that fast?

I don't think between last episode and this one isn't all the accurate, most cases don't go to court that fast; but I could be wrong. But then again this is TVland, so anything's possible.
Second thing, Lilly was supposed to be a spy; in Pete's distorted world not an martian

Well, I'm really surprised this episode doesn't have higher reviews as it seemed to be a really well done case. It seemed more like a season three episode! Dr. Julie reminded me of Lilly very much. What Lilly would be like if she were a psychiatrist/psychologist. The parallels were there especially Lilly at the end seeing Pete into his new place and even the way she interacted with him in interrogation. I also enjoyed Lilly and and the ADA. He's kinda gimpy but likable and I'm glad this isn't a turning out to them being attracted to one another. I like what the director did with Pete's character in his interactions with others. There was enough going on in this case to cast suspicion especially early on pointing to that Vanessa gal having a transfer neurosis in relation to Dr Ramierez. (that in itself would have made for a great story)! And Dr. Galton --- wow, what a sicko!!!!! I have to say I enjoyed the John Lennon songs. The clips were short and were not over powering. There were some funny things said like how Will's apartment smelled like Vera! ;D And the end was funny with the detectives messing with Will's gift basket! And green Lilly. What was that? She almost looked like Dolly Parton. And just curious, why isn't music therapeutic - I would think it would be. Is schizophrenia not considered brain trauma ? This making fun of this by Dr. Galton almost reminds me why I really dislike current systems of treatment in the medical community - the one that controls society's health care coverage. There are many other avenues out there to treat people but certain factions of the medical society refuse to embrace these methods. Actually, it angers me! As well I didn't understand what the ADA did to help Lilly.

Naj- ADA Bell helped Lilly by getting her Julie's notebooks, that proved to be useful in the case.
