Can someone please remind me what Vera said? Without getting into specifics because I can't remember them, he was very denigrating and hostile towards the idea of mental illness, basically mocking what Dr. Galton was saying about therapy and treatments. |

Thanks electrophile. I don't think Vera was 100% rude. However, I don't support what he did either. It could be what LII2 said: That he's gone thru a lot of things too.

Vera "ACTED" rude. What the debate should be is :
1) Was it something coming from him internally, if so, then you're saying "vera is a jerk!"
or
2) Was it an interview technique designed to rile up or initmidate the hostile interviewee (the doctor.)
Then you're saying "Vera is smart, he did it as a deliberate thing."
It's a fault in the writing that they didn't make this clear enough in the episode. Although I don't think I would want EVERYTHING spelled out to me. It's fun to speculate.
I'm kind of a Vera Ho so I give him the benefit of the doubt and say "Vera was smart!" If Scotty did the same thing, I'd probably say "Scotty was a jerk," because I don't much like Scotty. I guess it depends on what side of the Vera coin you fall.

I agree with Irishkale: we exactly don't know what was going on since the doctor did not want to give any information(That's when I knew he was the killer)

I do agree Vera wasn't rude on purpose. It was due to the interview or he just was angry because the doctor didn't help and fevershly he took out his nerve on a wrong comment. But this last would sound more like Scotty. So it's likely the first. Somewhere someone asked why Scotty told that it was his idea to keep the sick guy downstairs. Maybe he told it so as to took the heat for the not "so legal" move. Boss knew that he is sensitive to things like that and he can handle it, so he wouldn't get tiffed of or discuss it more. He covered Lil even he had said differently.  Scotty and Lil Martian Spies!! hehe!! Really, I would like something more "astranautic" for Scotty, too!!  |

Ugh, this whole "martian Lilly" nonsense is starting to get old.
She doesn't look like a martian. She's wearing a green leather coat, vinyl boots and heavy eye makeup. What martian looks like that? She looks like a mid-60s mod or a Bond girl. Not a martian, not a prostitute. Geeze Louise.

I have noticed a lot of comments in this thread that have been put downs toward other members. Let us please keep in mind that everyone is entitled to their opinions, and no one is forcing anyone else to have the same opinion as them, so there should not be any comments on the validity of someone else's opinion, because they are all valid.
