I was totally caught off guard with the episode mix up. Did it seem like a normal episode to you all?

How was it? I'm so confused... So they DID air the episode The Badlands but does that mean that Factory Girls will be episode 3?

oh man I'm super confused.... I'm just surprised that this happened... I mean you'd think that they'd have put down the right episode especially since it's the season premiere.

Boy, I feel like sending an email to CBS because of the switch. When I pressed the guide button on my remote it even stated that it was supposed to be about the factory girls.
Did I think it was a normal episode? I don't know and I think that's because I did not know which episode was supposed to be shown. Everything from this site to the CBS site to TV Guide all said one episode and then another was shown which made things weird for me. I guess it's hard to explain.
I don't think the episode was bad but it wasn't the greatest either. It just seemed a little weird. I did feel bad when they showed Derrick getting killed. That was sad.

I don't believe this, I have waited all this time for the new season of Cold Case and I totally forgot how football screws it up. I set my recorder up and went to watch the brand new episode and I had to fast forward through 25 minutes of 60 minutes. Argh! I certainly hope they show this one again soon.

It was odd for me, maybe being caught offguard. They had the whole cast involved but it just fell flat for me for some reason. It didn't flow. I looked at the watch and it was half over. It was Lily light and some of the scenes were shot different than last year. Not as much close ups or something. I can't put my finger on it. It wasn't a powerful ep to begin the season with. I'm a bit disappointed actually with this one. ~Naj

well its only 7:00 here so I wont be able to watch it for another hour but I'll be sure to watch it closely. I'm tiffed cause I thought the premiere would be really good but it sounds like it wasn't.

That's just my opinion, CC. You might really like it. I was all set because I had read the info on Factory Girls and that's what's up at the CBS site. I did tape it so maybe I'll look at it again. ~Naj

I really enjoyed the Badlands. Who was the actress who played the daughter of the owners of the diner? She looks very familiar.

*contains possible spoilers if you havent seen the ep* God this was sooo messed up!! I actually thought the premier was half way decent, but something was off. Let's start with the fact that it wasnt on at the right time. They REALLY need to work on this. This isnt the way they want to start off the new season. i wasnt really expecting either episode more than the other, but you would think that they would get the season premier right. Now. The actuall episode wasnt half bad, but the end didnt really fit with the rest of the case. Although, i have to say that Lilly's flashbacks were kinda cool. and jefferies personal involvement in the case was also kinda interesting, as was vera's. And what we've all been waiting for. Kite. Oh Lilly's mad alright *devilish grin* The opening seen seemed kinda off, with the courtroom. I dont know, it just didnt fit. The music was my next issue. I actually knew [most] of the songs. That was a first.

*************SPOILER**The Guilty Party***********
Well, I think I'm having a blond moment right now so maybe someone can help out but the guilty party was Derrick's brother. He's the one that in the beginning was doing a drug deal and then the next time you see him he has straighten himself up.
It was sad though because right before he killed Derrick, Derrick says to him that he wouldn't kill him because they're family and he loves him and then his brother shoots him.
Maybe someone else can help out.

**********SPOLERS**********
I knew all of the music in the ep..I usually do in the eps but I mostly listen to rap anyway.
The ending was really sad. I mean I'm sure he loved his brother but it's sad how drugs can mess you up like that.
And Kite....what can I say. Lilly totally just brushed him off. LOVED IT! lol I'm not a Kite fan since he dumped her cause she worked too much (which he already knew but whatever lol) so that was the highpoint in the ep for me lol
But it was weird when it came on CBS (finally!) and it was modern day. Took me a few mins to clue in that they swtiched the eps

Welcome, mjs. The daughter of the owners was played by Tangi Miller, who was prominent on "Felicity" at one time. It feels wrong for me to vent, on a forum for fans of the show, my true dislike of last night's opener. "Just fell flat" (Naj) and "kinda off" (trublu) don't begin to cover it. And it can't be blamed on first-night jitters, since it was the third episode shot. A Keanu-sized "Whoa!"
