Yeah but I thought I'd point out that Scotty hasn't even knocked anyone out this season yet, though. I think even silent acting out the crying was probably one of Kathryn's biggest strength's in this episode. She did a great job, especially also with that scene with Gabriel

I loved the scene where she talked to Will

This was my favorite episode ever. Everyone did an awesome job in it especially Kathryn Morris. I started crying when Vera apoligized to that guy in the chapel and again at the end when Lilly was crying. That vulnerability made her look even more beautiful than she already is. I loved that.

Who else thinks that this episode could match up with the song "Dead and Gone" by T.I. ? You know, with Gabriel's brother.... (I forgot his name ) And he ended up giving up the gang life and working for Pops in the end.

The ending song really blended in with the ending, but having the instrumental part on Lilly's crying really brought the scene out better.

And he ended up giving up the gang life and working for Pops in the end. He did not work for Pops. They just made peace

Gabriel's brother made peace and did take the job at pops, but took the bullet so that his brother could have a life; which was then thrown away by him killing Pops and wounding Jefferies.

Saw this last night and as usual late to the party but i wont need to repeat what everyone has said about this episode. definite season's best. this episode very much reminded me of the movie "187" with Samuel L Jackson. particularly in the way both ended who knew jeffries was a little thug in his youth :-) i did like how not only the regular cast characters came together but the recurring guest characters as well. there was some sense of closure...not sure what but that and the story and how the plot played out every minute was surreal.

If anyone's curious, a car expert friend of mine (and fellow CC viewer) tells me that Scotty's driving a 1970 Mach 1 Mustang.

I already knew that his car was a mustang, not a camero. The grill mark was the indicater

A great episode i saw the first time a few weeks ago. one thing gets me. they brought in Jeffries and Pops in the hospital, both appeared to be very much alive, but then i hear Pops died. when? did i miss something? or did CBS edit out a portion? i only looked away for a second!
Either way it had me biting my nails. the way they found Jeffries i figured 'oh no, this will be a first, they now killed off one of the cast!' he didn't look too good....when i saw the preview a week before, with Lilly crying, i knew i HAD to see it.

Pops did die after Gabriel had shot him; Jefferies survived the shooting.

yeah i got that, just didn't see that part. they were both brought in alive from what i could get, both with those 'bags' that doctors use to give oxygen on their faces. then i looked away. i guess i either missed the part or they just assumed he was mortally done. heard 'pops died' and other hints i was like 'he died? when? i must've missed that!'

Jefferies asked Lilly later on; she shook her head no. Plus the rookie officer informed Lilly early on that Pops had died

I just noticed something when we sat Jefferies blood on the doors inside of Pop's store, could it be possible that both Lilly and Scotty both recollected her shooting or perhaps it was his recollection? Since he does give out a little sigh ,while looking at the blood

Since he does give out a little sigh ,while looking at the blood I thought it was Lilly who remembered it. I just rewatched this one too... I liked it... different than other cases. I loved Vera saying "Officer down" I loved Stillman and ADA Bell

When Cooper went to see Lil at work, after hearing what happened. I think he wanted more than just an "Okay", after telling her that he just wanted to see her face. At least he didn't push, that's good.
