Who else was finally happy Lilly told someone who Cooper was? It seemed like every time it came up, she made up some excuse or dodged the issue....except this time. Scotty asked who it was she said "my father". I think the fact he came to the station, obviously worried about her....shook her up a little bit.

I think that Lilly isn't embaressed by her father's presence, he isn't at all like her mother. Plus in the beginning, she didn't know how he'd be. Thus changing the subject, now I think she feels good to know that at least one parent isn't a train wreck. Did anyone catch when Cooper had stated that he just wanted to see her face, and how Lilly reacted. It was like to her that she never had a parent that acutally cared enough to check up on her. I think Cooper was expecting more than just an " Okay", but I'm glad he did stop by.

It actually looks like a 1969 Camaro.
Okay, so I was surprised by this episode. I actually expected it to be a good one, but I didn't know that it was actually going to this good. I don't want to rehash what everyone else has said though, so I'll just bring up some stuff I've noticed.
- The character of Gabriel actually invoked both a sense of pity, and disgust. Pity because this young man pretty much lost his brother, and threw away his life. Disgust because he idolized his brother too much. That seemed to be what caused this, because Pops didn't see Gabriel's older brother as something great.
- Once again Lilly shows that she'll actually mentally adapt to her surroundings, quickly look at the situation, and determine how to act. I'm of course referring to when Lilly threatened to shoot Gabriel, saying, "I don't need an excuse to shoot you; I want to." I think she knew that this kid wanted to live, so by threatening to take away the last thing he had...well, Gabriel gave up the gun pretty quickly.
- Lilly's break down at the end. We know that she's cried before. She cried in 'The Woods', she cried in 'Stalker' (though we only saw the after effects), and she cried in 'Thrill Kill'. However, this is the first time we've seen her actually fully break down and start crying.
And come to remember, there was a distinctive little pattern to the montage. Scotty is seen with...what's her name. Jeffries sees the apparation of Pops. Nick is with Jeffries at the hospital. Kat is seen with her daughter.
Lilly's alone. She's the only one seen in that entire montage who's not with someone. Now, I'm not sure what it means exactly, but the fact they set it up like that has to mean something. Let's also not forget that it seems like everyone else has closure, except for her.
Hmm.

They are allowed a difference in opinion, you know. This is subjective, not objective.
And it's not really important if one of the detectives sees the victims, unless the victim is personally known to them. I think it's far better for the family/friends of the victims to have that moment. In this episode it worked since Jeffries and Pops were close. Otherwise, I think it comes across far too schlocky.

Yes, I know I was just kidding I absolutely loved this one but still my favorite is "Shuffle Ball Change", I have so many special connections to that episode 2. It's maybe because in the first 5 seasons, It was usually the detective who saw the victim. Even in "Ravaged", the sister who wanted justice for her dead sister did not see her, It was Vera but In know they were together in High school. An example could be in "Shuffle Ball Change": Lilly saw Maurice dancing. It was maybe because Maurice was gone and his family wasn't very good: His brother killed him, Maurice never knew his father approved his dancing, Crystal .... They did not have something special, His dancing teacher was mean. And since Lilly also had problems with a sister, she saw him. It's a different situation every episode...

Scotty's car is a 1970 mustang Hmm Um you're forgetting about Stillman, who was seen alone in his office with a cup of whiskey. I don't think it means anything reguarding Lilly being alone, she has one member of her family in her life ( her dad), whom seems to be loving and caring.

I kind of understand how Lilly feels: Alone and with some issues she has not solved. I sometimes feel myself that way

I think the shooting changed her, plus her father being back in her life.
Anyone notice Vera asking for Carla, the woman from " True Calling" she was in ballistics and Vera got her tickets to Wicked.?

I had forgotten about John being alone, but even still. There was a common link between most of the characters in that montage, except for Lilly.
On another note. I actually used to work at a convenience store back in '07 (over night shift at that). A lot of the things portrayed on that show were eerily accurate.
1. Go to a class to get a server's license, and they'll tell you that if a drunk comes into the store (and they're not a threat, ala screaming, and threatening to beat up/kill people) keep them there for as long as you can, and offer them free coffee.
2. That drunk guy who first appeared on the show? Evidently one of the rare 'nice drunks'. Most of the time they'll pitch a fit if they don't get their booze.
3. What's the minimum wage of Philly? I remember being paid $6.00/hour starting out, and within 9-10 months I was earning $6.75/hour (min wage was $5.15 at the time.)
4. Why was I not surprised that the tapes in the cameras hadn't been changed in years?
