That's right. A wrap party celebrates the end of regular production, meaning principal photography. There is still post-production to come. Post is when editing, color correction, music, looping (recording additional or replacement spoken parts), and many other things are done. -R

There is a good summary of the end of season blast from the past elsewhere on this board. Christina - Lil's sister - reappears to stir up trouble. My guess is the issue of Cooper being her dad was sidestepped until they knew they wanted to revisit the character and could get Nikki back. No point revving up the audience's expectations if it's not going to lead anywhere. (i.e. when was the last time anyone mentioned Motorcycle Man?) The truth is, for me the lack of reference to Chris had become so conspicuous that I'd gotten to the point of assuming Paul wasn't Chris' father, and I was okay with that. Given what we know about Lilly's mom, her having kids with a couple of different guys would be quite consistent. TV shows seem to occasionally have this bizarre habit of having characers "forget" about children of theirs if they're not main characters. i.e. When was the last time Nathan Petrelli saw or mentioned his kids besides Claire on "Heroes"? This goes all the way back to Ritchie Cunnigham's older brother in early episodes "Happy Days", who dropped off the face of the earth to make way for the Fonz. ;D I don't think a passing reference would've been revving up the audiences expectations, but that's just me. Speaking of which, I would be interested to know if we've seen the last of Saccardo this season. I never saw his last appearance in "Chinatown" as a goodbye episode, the way, say, Joseph's last appearance in "Saving Sammy" was, and just assumed he would be showing up again some time this season. Actually he was my prime suspect in the murder of Moe, and I still kinda wish they'd gone that way instead (putting Lil in an even more difficult position). ;D Then again it would be interesting to have him show up again now, just things are heating up between her and Cavanaugh. I guess we'll see.

Saccardo remains in deep cover for the rest of the season, which may mean forever. And, no, the long-awaited Lil and Scotty hook-up isn't going to happen, either. I promise the last two episodes will be a lot of fun - a number of Cold Case formula rules get broken - but won't tie up absolutely everything. -R

What do you mean by rules get broken?

And, no, the long-awaited Lil and Scotty hook-up isn't going to happen, either. -R Not even in the last minute of the last episode of the last season? At this point, I'm not picky. I just want a kiss.

"Cold Case" is quite possibly one of the few shows these days without any bf/gf relationship happening between the main characters nor do they focus much on the "shipping" aspect. I'm glad it still remains with the cases and the detectives' personal background stories.

So with the show now over, do you think we can still expect InsideR to poke her head in now and then?

I hope InsideR gets a good job somewhere else.
But InsideR- let us know- were there any plotlines they had planned that we didn't get to see?

Sorry folks for disappearing. I'm afraid I've been busy looking for work. Thanks to everyone who supported the show. It was a wonderful experience to work on it.

So, can you imagine that ... If the show had been renewed, we would have many spoilers ...? (I've missed Spoilers)
Insider ... Could you tell us some things that happened on set, would not you? HAHA

Granted there's no more spoilers to tease us with, and hopefully you'll soon have a new gig (if not one already), but hopefully you can be pursuaded to still pop in occasionally. Having someone who REALLY worked on the show, who can give us the inside perspective is extremely cool. (And just FYI, a few of us are even creating an eighth season of our own, plotlines and everything!)

OK, here's an on-set story. Danny and Jeremy were always pulling pranks on each other. After one of Danny's pranks, Jeremy had fake copies of TV Guide printed up that showed a photoshopped Danny in drag made up to look like Kathryn and a fake Rolling Stone with Danny dressed in gay black leather a la Freddy Mercury. He distributed them at the 100th episode party. Jeremy had a thing about tweaking gender roles - he showed up to the last cast and crew party dressed in full drag regalia.

It's been a while since we'd heard from you, but then again it's been a while since *I've* posted anything, so I guess I'm one to talk.
I'm interested in any deleted or extended scenes from episodes. Given the near-impossibility of DVD's, I'm aware it's quite likely these will never see the light of day, though I'm aware of a couple:
-The casting call and cast list for "Street Money" both include a character completely absent from the final airing and indicate lines for another character that had none, which leads me to believe some stuff wound up on the cutting room floor.
-I saw an actor's demo reel on YouTube (which has since been taken down) with included a bit from "Cargo": Lena asking Lilly a second time that "Mike is dead?" as well as a bit more from her flashback tearfully recounting (after she thinks Mike's abandoned her) that Mike had been from an orphanage like her and she thought they could have each other.
Anyways, is there anything else from those or other episodes you can recall.
One other question is that I noticed, looking at earlier posts, you mentioned plans for a possible romance for Lilly with a guest character that didn't pan out because of a lack of chemistry. I'm not looking to badmouth any actors, but can you say what episode that was? The post was from spring of 2005, so I'm assuming it was one from season two, though looking at the list of eps, I'm not really sure who that was supposed to be.

I'm wondering if it was that guy who came to arrest Christina. Their first scene together was kind of flirtatious.
I too would love to know of any deleted scenes or storylines that never happened. For instance:
* For a while there, they almost seemed to be hinting at Vera and Kat getting together. And even though I'm not a shipper, I wondered if they had planned to get Lilly and Scotty together. * Speaking of Vera, did they ever have plans for him to adopt, or was he always going to be childless? * The Joseph storyline seemed to end suddenly. * For most of season six and seven, Paul never mentioned Chris. In the second last episode, we find out that she is his daughter. Was that always the case, or did they plan to have Chris have a different father? * I keep talking about her in the virtual season, so here goes: Paul mentions a daughter Maggie in Into the Blue, but we never hear about her again.

INdeed..there was so much that could have been done with one more season of CC. Then again, the strike in season 5 also hurt the show. As for the possible romance, I imagine it was the cop who was looking for Christina.
