I got the idea for this thread after reading so many of the excellent threads in this folder ... I hope it's not too similar to the Lilly music thread (a couple of pages back). If mods feel so and need to close / move this, I understand.
Question: Do you think Lilly has an iPod/MP3 player, and if so, what kind of artists / playlists do you think she has on it?
Edited to Add: Audiobook selections can also be considered for inclusion.

Well, we know for sure there won't be any show tunes! So true, jazzyb! Hmmm ... no takers on this thread as yet, so perhaps I've made it a) too hard; b) too smilier; c) too boring. LOL! I'll take a stab ... I think Lilly does have an iPod (or MP3 player) of some sort. There is discussion in another thread in this folder about how she relieves stress, etc., and I can see her listening to music as perhaps one of those ways (in addition to doing some sort of workout whereby it's handy to have tunes to listen to). As for playlists/artists, I'll guess the following: high-tempo dance/workout mix; a mellow-curl-up-with-the-cats-after-work mix; a rock mix; a jazz mix; an oldies mix. About the only type of music I would guess that Lilly would NOT have on the player is perhaps country, death metal / heavy metal and/or electronica. But it's all just a guess ... Possible artists: Dave Matthews Sting Annie Lennox No Doubt and/or Gwen Stefani Tom Petty Sheryl Crow Bruce Springsteen Fleetwood Mac Beatles Kenny G John Hiatt Shedaisy Mark McGrath Aerosmith Bon Jovi Michelle Branch Avril Lavigne Vanessa Carlton

Abba! I can totally see her as an Abba Girl. I know my cd racks and playlists are full of ABBA!
And she likes the song Mamma Mia, Cos it reminds her of her realtionship with Kite.
Ive been cheated by you since I dont know when So I made up my mind, it must come to an end Look at me now, will I ever learn? I dont know how but I suddenly lose control Theres a fire within my soul Just one look and I can hear a bell ring One more look and I forget everything, o-o-o-oh
Mamma mia, here I go again My my, how can I resist you? Mamma mia, does it show again? My my, just how much Ive missed you Yes, Ive been brokenhearted Blue since the day we parted Why, why did I ever let you go? Mamma mia, now I really know, My my, I could never let you go.
Ive been angry and sad about the things that you do I cant count all the times that Ive told you were through And when you go, when you slam the door I think you know that you wont be away too long You know that Im not that strong. Just one look and I can hear a bell ring One more look and I forget everything, o-o-o-oh
Mamma mia, here I go again My my, how can I resist you? Mamma mia, does it show again? My my, just how much Ive missed you Yes, Ive been brokenhearted Blue since the day we parted Why, why did I ever let you go? Mamma mia, even if I say Bye bye, leave me now or never Mamma mia, its a game we play Bye bye doesnt mean forever
Mamma mia, here I go again My my, how can I resist you? Mamma mia, does it show again? My my, just how much Ive missed you Yes, Ive been brokenhearted Blue since the day we parted Why, why did I ever let you go Mamma mia, now I really know My my, I could never let you go
PS: sorry for wasteing your time

Too funny, michelle! artificiallysweet - good suggestion with Abba; I can kind of see that as a possibility. Sort of in that oldies mix perhaps ... or dance - depending on the song.

Hey you never know, she could have the "Nara" song, the theme from CC...lol, but to me she looks like one of those people with slower songs, not anything really heavy or fast... ;D

(I actually have that whole E.S. Posthumus CD. I think it's pretty good. There's a wide variety of rhythms on it, and it's kind of almost like listening to the musical score of a movie - mellow, relaxing.)

I should have thought of this one right away. One of my favorites, and has been my own personal anthem at times in my life:
I am a Rock by Simon and Garfunkel
A winter's day In a deep and dark December I am alone Gazing from my window To the streets below On a freshly fallen silent shroud of snow
I am a rock I am an island
I've built walls A fortress deep and mighty That none may penetrate I have no need for friendship Friendship causes pain It's laughter and it's loving I disdain.
I am a rock I am an island
Don't talk of love Well, I've heard the word before It's sleeping in my memory I won't disturb the slumber Of feelings that have died If I'd never loved, I never would have cried
I am a rock I am an island
I have my books And my poetry to protect me I am shielded in my armor Hiding in my room Safe within my womb I touch no-one and no-one touches me
I am a rock I am an island And the rock feels no pain And an island never cries

Yeah- I can definitely see the hair bands! I'm thinking Lilly is more of a rocker than an easy listening type.

LOL. I always picture her walking into the interragation room, flipping the cuff on her handcuffs around and around and sauntering over to the suspect while chanting "Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do". ROFL

ROFL LOL I'm gonna pretend I didn't just read that . Soooo...I obviously don't think Lil's a rocker type. Neither an upbeat kinda gal. I agree with LillyKat and coldcasegirl; nothing heavy or fast. I think LillyKat's playlist is very possible...hey I love most of those artists .

Yeah i know what you mean, but after seeing Ray come back, it's given me a whole new outlook on the lilly we know next to nothing about. It'd love to see an alter-ego (or alias or whatever u wanna call it) of Lilly. Someone who's real out there, who'd get up and do a rendition of blondies' 'One Way Or Another' on a kareoke night. Someone's who's not afraid to know they're hot, and aren't afraid to use it....we haven't seen her do that yet.
But...I recon it's a possibility she's got some Motley Crue or Alice Cooper CD's packed away somewhere hidden.

Maybe she's secretly in a rock band (that's getting a bit off topic here)
Lilly might be into punk rock or heavy metal .. I don't think she's a rap kinda girl

Maybe where she grew up, they're into rap. I can see her listening to a bit of Coolio!
