Thanks a lot Athame! Do you know when this was written? It says "right now" so I'd like to know if it was 10 years ago . I'm not sure of the exact age of the article, but considering it was on a P:WOG site, I'm guessing, as you said, probably around the 9-10 years mark.

Okay... I'm going to throw in my 'dollars' worth lol (yes, I'm changing a metaphor, let me run with it); I am, as all my friends know, a complete music nut. I love listening to it, seeing it played live, finding obscure bands... etc etc. That said, I've got a quick list that Lil might listen to. Radiohead (esp. Fog), Emiliana Torrini (esp Sunny Road), Embrace (esp Ashes), Gotye, Bettie Serveert, Rilo Kiley, They might be Giants, Iron and Wine, Bloc party, Thom Yorke, Joseph Arthur, Nada Surf and Psapp. Kind of chilled music. She might have been into a little bit of rock back when she was a teenager (how she met McRay maybe?) but I don't really see her putting on Metallica these days! Maybe some of the old 'Stones stuff, or some Poison tracks... Nothing razor. PS. Anyone that hadn't heard of the above bands should def find and listen! Especially the song Fog by Radiohead, it's amazingly gorgeous *sigh*.

Hey! I love aerosmith. My dad's got a whole bunch of their CD's. I raided his collection last night.
Everytime i post on here i seem to come up with a whole new genre of music for Lil to listen to. First it was Abba, then Motely Crue & Alice Cooper, the legend himself! Now, I'm thinking 80's pop like music. Think The Dyvinils, Cyndi Lauper (she's awesome, i went out and brought her essentials collection after hearing the song 'all through the night' on the end of an episode!!). Stuff like that.

LOL I can imagine Lil listening to Cyndi Lauper actually! And maybe a bit of the Ditty Bops and Bangles while she's at it!
PS: Forgot to say Tiger_Lilly have you listened to Accidntel Deth (yes, it's meant to be spelt that way; The awkward spelling is in reference to Dntel, the band of Jimmy Tamborello, who helped produce the track) and Hail To Whatever You Found In The Sunlight That Surrounds You and Annoying Noise of Death? I think they're the best Rilo Kiley songs (excluding Portions for Foxes, which has been far too overplayed, rendering it commercially viable and therefore annoyingly mainstream. Argh!).

Actually haven't heard THAT many songs and I really did fall in love with Portions for foxes I don't own the cd's just have some mp3's. I love The Frug, I Never, Science vs. Romance, It's a hit, Does he love you, My slumbering heart and Teenage love song. But will try and find the ones you recommend .

What does Lilly listen to? We know she doesn't like musicals. Kite took her to the disco. But I think she listens to LeaAnn Rimes' "I Need You." Alot.

I could definitely see 80's pop - both upbeat and slow - on Lilly's player (especially given her age). Great suggestion with Cyndi Lauper, artificiallysweet! She's got so many great songs. "Time After Time" - that's a classic. I vote for that one.

I agree also, maybe she's also got the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing as well or flashdance.
