I actually don't think she's much of a dancing queen, or at least I don't think she loves to go dancing. I assume so because of the reaction she had to Kite asking her to go dance with her. And also because she doesn't like musicals much.

And also because she doesn't like musicals much. I wonder about this, too, tiger_lilly. Seems Lilly can dance, and thus could go out dancing should she need to, but am not sure she does it all the time / very often. I can see some dance / disco on the player, though - for the exercise mix, or the dance-around-the-house-when-no-one-is-watching mix.  (Perhaps Lilly could be guilty of this every once in a while when she's in a really good mood ... aren't we all? LOL! ) |

I could really see her listening to "I hope you dance" (and I am not being sarcastic with my 'really')  I agree with longislanditalian2 with the country, but not too much, just a little of it ;D |

This is a fun thread!  First, I think the country thing with Kathryn may have changed only because she said something during the Country Music Awards about liking Keith Urban and Sugarland. Since she named specific artists, she may actually enjoy their music. I'm kind of like this too. I don't listen to country, but there are some "country" artists that I enjoy. Kathryn's two picks being two of mine as well. Moving on to Lilly, I can definitely see her having an iPod. I can picture her lying in bed at night listening to her iPod as she falls asleep. Maybe a little the one who's name we shall not say MacLaughlin or K.D. Tunstall? I can see her listening to the greats as well such as Sting, U2, Genesis, Chicago, The Eagles and so on. I don't picture Lilly giving much time to anything that's new and trendy, but more classic sounding stuff by singer/songwriters. Or maybe I'm just projecting my own tastes on her! |

I compeletly forgot about that song Naj! The songs 'The Winner Takes It All' and 'Waterloo' somehow seems to always remind me about Lilly. Dunno why. But my personal favourite is 'Does Your Mother Know?'

I never thought of ABBA as sounding that way, but now that you mention it, their harmonies and what not could sound a little chorus/musical-ish to some ... maybe Lil' makes an exception with ABBA? LOL! @ KM-Freak, LillyKat and LII:I think classical music sounds quite right for some occations, but nah, no opera. I agree - classical is OK, but definitely no opera ... would drive Lilly crazy, I think. |
