I bet before she was a cop she might have listened to faster and more rock-and-roll music, like when she was with Ray and people like that, but now she seems more mellow and would listen to slower, more relaxing music....that's just what I wuz thinkin!  ;D |

showtunes? i know i know.. this doesnt really belong in this thread but... since someone wrote sth about country music... does someone know if kathryn likes that kind of music? or what kind of music she likes?  pls dont hit me!! @jambled lilly listening to rap.. ohhh i can imagine kathryn "dancing" crazy around lol |

On the promos when she was doing the country music awards, she *said* she liked country music. But I imagine, if she said on the promos "I don't really care for this stuff, but-hey, it's publicity" they maybe wouldn't have wanted her. lol

Yeah I remember wondering if she actually likes country music from the promo too. She seems like the kind of person who would try out everything and see what she really likes ;D

Wow, you guys have chimed in with some great additions!  Interesting question about rap ... when I initially thought about what artists / music might be on the player, I tried to think about it in relation to Lilly's age. That is, what music would've been popular when she was in her teens and 20s vs. what she may be interested in now in her mid-to-late-30s. At her age now, I think there is a chance for some mellower music. And whilst I still am not thinking she's into seriously heavy metal, her "punk" days would definitely suggest some sort of rock music collection. And she could - albeit could - maybe have some R&B tunes on the player as opposed to rap. I guess I kind of think of the player as being a true mixture of past and present tunes - something encapsulating her "then" and her "now." This is the great thing about these players - you can add all the old stuff you used to listen to, and all the new stuff, too.  |

Or what else she likes...wish I did though On this Pensacola site, it gives an insight into her (Kathryn, not Lilly's, obviously,  ) music taste: She grew up all over the United States -- primarily the South -- Texas -- even spent some time in Brooklyn -- lot of time in Connecticut.
Connecticut was very cold; she spent a lot of time shoveling driveways (only one boy in the family so they all had to help.) It was also an airport town -- nothing much to do, so she would spend time at McDonald's or driving around in her best friend's Nova listening to AC/DC and Rush and stuff like that.
Right now she really enjoys Alternative music because so many different kinds of musical styles are being incorporated into it. She thinks Radiohead is incredible, and really likes Sting because he tries to incorporate a lot of different stuff into his work. She also enjoys the classics, like the classic jazz tunes. Not a big fan of country, though.
I guess that answers the 'Country Music' question. ;D |

Wow, thanks for the info Athame. Kathryn does seem like the type to be cruisin around town listenin to fast music and rockin out. lol, she seems like the upbeat type

It says "right now" so I'd like to know if it was 10 years ago  . @ coldcasegirl: I don't get what you mean by up beat?? And yes, Radiohead is a band but I am pretty sure they broke up (please correct me if I'm wrong people) and the lead singer went solo just recently. Haven't been into them in a while because I don't think they've made anything new in a long time. But I love their old stuff. And oooh I love Sting, he has a niiiice voice . Jazz is awesome too...I must say KM has good taste . Uh oh, we went way off topic here. If you mods feel like it make a new thread about KM's music taste and move these posts...  |

I definitely vote for some upbeat tracks - whether they are of the rock n' roll variety or the dance/house variety. Something to get Lilly's energy up on, say, a long run, or if she is excited about something good. |
