I'm afraid I don't know the answer. I know the concept of the sequel evolved but I don't know what it started as. My guess is that if you were really curious you could write to Veena care of the show and she might write back. They haven't yet started writing season 3 (although it's coming soon) so, now would be a good time to write.

If she doesn't write back, please don't be offended. Unlike actors, writers are not used to being in the public eye and some are more fearful than others about communicating with strangers. Don't forget this is a show that has a murder a week on it -- some of the fans are not people you want to meet socially. (All company here excluded, of course!)

I'm really not the type of fan that would ever write to anyone from the show. However, if the writer had a website where she allows questions posted, I might swing by there and ask. Hopefully someone will talk about this in an interview or an article about season two.

I have a question about the house used in The Woods. Was this a real house in Philly that doubled as George's childhood home or a set in LA. Just curious as it was a very interesting house. Much thanks!
