I would just like to remind everyone that questions should be reserved for those directly pertaining to Cold Case. Please do not ask personal questions about actors or crew members.

Hi InsideR. We are just wondering who the Dedication was for at the end of Wishing: Kelly Lindquist Was she a crew member or a relative of a crew member? She was so young.

Hello again, Since I'm new, I just want to start off by saying THANKS A BUNCH!! to InsideR for all this info. (I just took like 1 1/2 hours to read through 9 pages of posts!!!).
I had a question: Does KM have like a special "Lilly" clothes wardrobe? Like, most of her clothes are the same style -- basically the slacks and then the blouse thing. So I was wondering - this is probaby a very dumb question, but does KM get any input over the clothes she wears?

Does KM have like a special "Lilly" clothes wardrobe? ... does KM get any input over the clothes she wears? Remember, Rush is a fictional character created by Meredith Stiehm. KM might have input and opinions about what Rush should look like, but, ultimately, it's not her choice, but Meredith's, Jonathan Littman's, and Jerry Bruckheimer's. There are costumers, makeup people and hair stylists, all of whom are top-notch pros who contribute what they can to make Rush the character she is. So, yes Rush, has a very carefully selected wardrobe. Every character on the screen is the combined work of many people - the actor having a hugely important, but not exclusive, influence on who that person is. I thought one of the more fun threads on this site was the one about which CDs Rush would own. That's the kind of thing that writers and actors think about when they try to make a character more completely human. But if it were an issue, KM would have her opinion, MS would be the decision-maker. Offscreen, though, KM's clothes choices are most definitely her own. -R

Hello InsideR,
Had the character of Kite remained, can you say what may have been for season two in the short term? I'm assuming season one would not have ended with him breaking off with Rush as it did.

Tough to say what might have been. Josh was written out because he had a pilot that looked like it might happen. In fact, he's got another now in the works. Never say never, but for now he's out of the picture. But hang in there - our Lil is not going to be lonely much longer... -R

Hi InsideR
For the episode "Maternal Instincts" the guest cast list had down a character named Lilly Rush - Age 17. Did they film some flashback scenes for Lilly and then edit them out of the TV broadcast version and if so, do you know why?
Thanks

Hello InsideR, I was wondering about the cats on the show. Whose cats are they?? (I mean, they didn't just pull random cats off the street to film their scenes when Lilly's home, right?) Thanks!

The cats are trained by Worldwide Movie animals. Sugar is the white cat; Moe is the lay around orange and his double, Andee is the orange cat who does the action work. -R

First and foremost thank you InsideR for all the info on the show - I just spent the last 2 hours engrossed and reading the 10 pages here! It is so interesting to hear an insiders view of the show! That is funny that the everyone in the show is trying to guess who you are. (I wonder if they have a pool going on it!) I actually think it is great they pay attention to boards like this to get audience feedback and kudos on top of the usual MR work (focus groups and polls) that I am sure is done for the show. This is such a great website so many kudos on the people who provide it - I was so happy to find it since I really enjoy this show. I really enjoy the show - as the show seem to be really well made - the characters seem real (and not glorified or simplified like alot of shows) and I LOVE the use of music from the years to "date" the eposide and set up an environment for the eposide storyline and characters. I also love the way the eposides always end with the murder victum appearing to Lilly like a ghost with a song playing in the background. It just makes each eposide seem so much more like a mini movie. I also like the story line of her and her sister - I only hope it continues (as it makes Lilly human and believeable) as long as it does not take over the concept of the show (solving cold cases) It sounds interesting that there will be a possible appearence of Lilly at a younger age. Just out of curiousity: (sorry if this has been asked before) who came up with the idea for using the music in this way and also with the "ghost" ending? Was it one person or a team of people? I was also thrilled to see they used "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by IZ (I think that is the name of the singer) - I fell in love with this song by that singer 2 months ago when I found it on iTunes. It was a great use for the eposide "Wishing".
