I know a lot of fans of this show are fans of CSI so come here to talk about it with other fans. I actually want to ask a question. If you had to pick, would you pick Sara & Gil or Catherine & Gll?

Hey CC Fan, I'll pick Catherine and Grissom any day; after all Catherine does know Grissom better than any other member of the team. Besides, I'm a N/S shipper so G/S is basically out of the question.

yeah, I totally agree. I think Catherine and Grissom are much better together, just because they know the most about eachother. In the last few episodes, I've noticed that there's been a lot of references to them being together. Like the one where Gill goes to the mountains (it was a few episodes ago) and he keeps talking to Catherine on the phone and the other guys ask him if he's talking to his wife and he says yes. And then in another episode he tells her that he's always got her back. I dunno, I think they'd be cute.

Yeah, if I had to pick between Sara/Griss and Cath/Griss, it would probably be Cath/Griss. But I have been known to have a fondness towards Sara/Catherine fanfic.

*grin* Definitely a Cath/Gil shipper. I don't know - it just makes sense. I'm a big CSI fan, and Profiler too. Anything relating to forensics, actually. Once I get more familiar with the Cold Case fandom, expect a few fanfics from me! So far, I have a few Profiler and CSI going. Can't wait to write some for CC! Cheers!

I was a little late getting on the bandwagon, but I finally discovered the phenomenon that is CSI this year and now I know what I've been missing all this time. I love it---stellar and stunning cast, brilliant science that always leaves me intrigued, stories that stump me until they unravel, and characters whose interaction I love. All that, and it leaves me torn about who I most want to drape myself over---Grissom, Warrick, Nick, or Greg---depending on who is onscreen at the moment. My jury is still out on the greatest shipper potential---I haven't really come to any solid conclusions yet based on this season because I've seen sparks between Grissom/Catherine, Grissom/Sara, Catherine/Warrick---and my loyalties haven't really centered anywhere yet, but they've enjoyed all the sparks. The episodes seem to toy with it, swinging from the potential of one to the other like a pendulum, in terms of Grissom and his lady leads. I really did start off thinking the intentional lean was Catherine...then there was last week's episode, and Grissom was completely consumed by a case where the victim bore such a striking resemblance to Sara, ending up in that final confession scene that Sara heard behind the glass. Yes, I'm still torn, but happily so. Or maybe it's just that I want Grissom to myself, because when he does that 'thing' with his raised eyebrow...*sops him up with a biscuit* Mmmmmmm Another brilliant show! ~m&m

haha, as usual M&M, you're posts hit it right on. When I first started watching, I thought Warrick and Catherine were gonna be a couple, honestly though, they all could be a couple with someone else. It's just such an awsome show. i love it!

Well, I'm a G/S fan, mostly because I consider everyone else to have a very sibling-esque relationship with each other - Nick, Sara, Warrick, Cath and Gil (and Greg) all look out for each other and work well together. Sara and Griss are the only people I can really see having a romantic relationship. [But I looooooooove Greggo. ] And "Butterflied" rocked. So very G/S 'shippy - I'm dying to see how Sara reacts to hearing that in the next episode.

Knowing CSI, there not gonna even mention what Grissom said. He had the operation, and that was the end of his hearing problem. Eddie died, never heard about him again, Catherine got that check from Sam, never heard about it again. I honestly hope nothing happens with any of the characters, because the show is so good, and I feel like a relationship would ruin it. And yes, Greg is adorable.

A relationship would be a great way to end the show, having Grissom make some final declaration of love to Sara just before they end it. But until then, I'd still be happy with their little flirtings (although they flirt less and less nowadays . . . why I miss Seasons 1 and 2, where everyone was a little happier and a little more lighthearted).

Yeah, the con thing kept going and going and going deeper and deeper. (How deep does the rabbit hole go?).
I am so bad with faces, it took me a moment to realize what the signifigance of Mr. Chen's picture was. I just sat there thinking "What does that have anything to do with the show?" until someone said something. Heh.
And the scene where Gil pulled the sword out and scared Sara made me smile. Giggle, actually. ;D

The look on Nick's face when he ripped the sword was PRICELESS. So, so priceless. GUY: "I drank her bloooooooood." MY MOM AND DAD: "Ewww . . . " ME: "Awesome, dude." ;D Between Lestat(s) and the super-trippy con, that (to quote Finding Nemo) "So totally rocked!!"

I really liked this last episode. I thought both cases were really interesting, although I was very confused with the sword one, but omg, Nick is hot, so it's ok.

CSI is one of my favorite shows. I agree with you on the Catherine-Gil relationship. She is so much more mature for him, in my opinion. I think they would make a much better couple than he and Sara.

I'm not an avid watcher of CSI, but I tuned into a a rerun of CSI Miami last week, when it was aired during the ER timeslot.
Does anyone watch this show? Or is it some bad ripoff that shouldn't be talked about?

I watch CSI:Miami as well. It's not as good as the original, but it's not bad actually. I don't really care for David Caruso (or however you spell it), but some of the actors are ok.

I've only seen the episode where they solve Horatio's brother's murder. When it comes to forensics TV series, I like Crossing Jordan the most, probably because it has the same flash-back type thing as Cold Case does.
