I've never watched Crossing Jordon, but I've heard it's really good.

I think that Catherine is definitely more...fit for Grissom, although for me, I'd have to choose...*Attempts to choose* Uh, Warrick and Nick carrying Greg on one of those human chairs...yeah, that's good enough...

Just caught an excellent rerun last night. It was the one where they think the perp is pure evil becuase he killed someone with his bare hands, he is hot to the touch, and he attacks Grissom during the interrogation and dies from a heart problem. Very interesting psycological episode. It focused on the "why dunnit" angle like CC. One of the best of the season IMO. I'm somewhat new to CSI too. I started watching it last summer b/c it came on after The Amazing Race. I loved it from the first ep I watched. Now, I watch it every week. I've been catching up on old episodes on Friday nights at 11 on Spike TV. As far as who should hook up, I agree that Catherine and Gil would be better than Sara and Gil.

I love CSI myself, and am a diehard Gris/Sara shipper. I didn't like some episodes in season 4, like that sorry excuse of an episode Fur And Loathing, but in general I think it is one of the better shows on tv. The cast is surely top notch.
I haven't seen CSI Miami, but I ordered the dvds so I could give it a shot, so I guess we will see.

Im into the "crime/cop" show genre if you will, so CSI is on my list. Im all for Cathrine/ Grissom, but in no way Sara/Grissom. I think he would be too old for her. But Cathrine's got that other relationship now, so we'll have to see how that pans out...

Are we still on the "ship" topic? Oh man. I've decided that it's time for me to return to the dry land - in another word, no more ships for me except maybe the ones that they actually hand out. onebyone - I also have the CSI: Miami season one DVD. I didn't buy it, my mom ordered it for me. I guess the past season of seething has yet to be recognized as a sign of "I HATE HoCaine aka David Caruso!!!!!" I wish I could know why I went back to the TV on Monday nights near the end of the first season though. Must be the power of cute guys known as Speedle and Delko. Anyway, if you enjoy season one, let me know so I can reconsider my position as being a HoCaine-hater. Funny thing about CSI: Miami is that I actually looked forward to it at first. My sister and I liked DC when he was John Kelly on NYPD Blue. I guess time (9 years) does change a person .

I'd prefer no intramural romance. The thing I liked about CSI was the sparcity of distracting personal details--the criminal investigation, particularly the forensics is motivation enuf for me to tune in. A romance might cause me to tune out.

I love CSI it's my no 1 show ;D I'm a big shipper of Catherine/Grissom and of Sara/Grissom. But I think Cath is more suited for her toyboys. The season finale aired not so long ago here in the UK and wow is all I can say, Sara needs a hug and if I weren't living over the pond I'd give her one. Jorja is one of my fave actresses and idols and I think she is truly amazing when it comes to acting. Here who I'm a shipper of S/G, S/C, S/N and Sara/G(reg), C/G, C/W and C/N. Like I said Cath is more better suited to her toyboys, with the only expection (sp?) of Gil.

I just found out! I'm so mad!! The show is not going to be the same without them! I wonder if they're going to hire new actors and create new characters. I would imagine that must be the plan. I can't believe CBS did that.

The news about George and Jorja was like a knife to the chest. I really hope it is reversed. I love CSI but will see no reason to watch if this holds. I am taking this poorly.

Here's what CBS Network Chairman Les Moonves had to say about the firing (apparently it was his decision) from USAToday.com:
•CSIflap. The network defended Thursday's abrupt decision to fire George Eads and Jorja Fox, two supporting actors on TV's top drama. Both were no-shows at work amid pay-raise demands despite having three years left on their contracts.
"A deal's a deal," Moonves says. "There were certain veiled threats about their not showing up, and there comes a point where we all have to look out for the future of the network television business. This behavior has to stop."
He says the actors' lawyers, managers and agents may have thought "they had us over a barrel," but "renegotiating without a threat always works better with us." (And, executives say, when actors are more critical to a show's success.)
CSI creator Anthony Zuiker says he was "saddened by the news," but "it is show business, and the show must go on."
Not quite: CSI will stop production for a week while the season premiere is retooled. New actors probably will be cast, and other supporting actors (including Paul Guilfoyle and Eric Szmanda) might take a bigger role, Moonves says. And although CBS declined to comment, it appears unlikely Eads and Fox will mend fences and return.

Jorja Fox will return , but George Eads fate is still up in the air. Here's a link to the article from USAToday.com. www.usatoday.com/life/people/2004-07-23-csi_x.htmI'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll be back as well. Oh that would make my day to learn that both Sara and Nick are coming back.

George is back too. This is one of many articles confirming the good news. I am very relieved, with a side of "What the heck was all that mess about anyway?" Still, they are back and so I am back in the fall. If we still had the dancey smiley, I would put it right about... Here {edited word in post}
