TNT will be airing all 12 episodes from Season 2 this Monday (Labor Day/ September 4th), rounding it out with the Season Finale. I'm looking forward to seeing how the seasons ends - especially with Brenda's toss-then-look-of-regret after throwing out all her Pope mementos this week.  |

How embarrassing was that scene with the ex-wife??!! I turned 10 shades of red just watching it! I felt so bad for Brenda.
I've been watching S1 on DVD, and I'm loving it. I think the cases were better last season, but the personal stuff and the funny anecdotes are better this year. The pilot is amazing!

And the fact that she was able to still dish out a couple of orders to her team AFTER the rampage was amazing ... I think I would have run off crying. LOL! I was bummed Kyra didn't win the Emmy ... and even though I was happy for Mariska, still wanted Kyra to take it home. Perhaps next year.  |

I felt the same way about the Emmys LillyKat. I would have been happy either way, but I felt that Kyra was more deserving only because her role allows for more emotion and stretching. Olivia is more cut and dry.

So, Season 2's finale aired last night on TNT ... am not sure what I think about it. * SPOILER SPACE * * * * * * * * * * * I liked how Fritz and Brenda had to work the case together - and that Fritz was sort of the odd-man out. Usually, it's the FBI guys that make the local police the odd-man out. LOL! And the whole Fritz vs. Pope territorial thing was funny. Did Pope have some great lines? ("Yeah, that's right, so take a minute and get over it." LOL!) The case had a lot of twists and turns ... and whilst there was the big shootout at the end, I thought we kind of were left hanging with the whole Brenda/Fritz/Pope thing - especially following last week's episode with her tossing out all of her mementos from Pope, then seemingly regretting that decision. I was thinking this would be addressed in the finale, but it was not. Good news is that new episodes are slated again for December. |

I thought that they would address the Brenda/Fritz/Pope triangle as well, so I was surprised when they didn't. I was worried for a second that someone wasn't going to survive the finale, but it turned out OK.
Do we know how many eps are coming in December? I only knew about that Kevin Bacon-directed episode.

New episodes start again on TNT on Monday (December 4th). I don't know if this is still considered Season 2 or now is considered Season 3. |

Why do they call him Pope?
Is that his actual name (lol), or does he bear resembelance to 'The Pope', or what?

I think Brenda is pretty much the only one who ever calls him "Will"; other than that, he's usually referred to as "Chief" or "Pope." Also, thanks to TVFan for correcting me in that tonight's episode is a two-hour special. New episodes for Season 3 will resume again next summer (June '07). |

Sorry I take this thread on the way and late but some words on this series, one of my favorites, the season 2 is currently diffused in France, in Prime time and obtains a very good audience. Kyra Sedgwick is brilliant, she knows how to find the just tone between eccentricity, humor and seriousness. The interrogations should already be classified in the annals of the kind. Interactions between the characters are very successful, and especially stories are always poignant. An excellent season 2, better than the 1 for me, I wait the final one (4 episodes to be seen still) impatiently. |

TNT has started to run a new promo as a reminder about the new season starting again in June ... I think it's a clever one, set to Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine."
