While shower was running Lil crept into the bedroom and opened one of the drawers pulling few papers and several pharmacy pill containers from under the clothes and she put them into her jeans pockets when she jumped feeling an arm on her shoulder.
"Nice going, Lil. You just want to know how stomack pumping feels or do you desperately wanna turn into your own mother?" Scotty asked
Lil eyes widened in shock but she didn't turn around. Scotty slip his hand into her pocket and he pulled prescriptions for same drug James gave her.
"Two different therapists aside from James?" he pulled out containers from pockets and studied them "Two more therapists?" Scotty placed everything on the dresser and turned Lilly around "How many you're taking? Lil? Look at me!" he yelled but she looked at the ground "I'm not gonna loose you like I lost Elisa. I'm not gonna let you slip!"
Scotty took prescriptions and containers and stormed out from the bedroom.


Lilly crawled into the small spot between the besdie table and the lamp. She started to cry and pulled her legs up to her chest. When Scotty said Elisa's name, Lilly flet her heart rip. She knew he had feelings for her, well at least that's what she thought. She thought that he would always love her more than herself and never feel the way he felt for Elisa for her.
She crawled into the bathroom and opened up the cupboard. She pulled out a fresh razor and put it against her arm. She whispered sorry and she let it slash the pale skin on her arm.
She cried harder as blood ran down her arm to the floor.
"Mummy," she heard a small voice whsiper.
She looked over to see Isabella standing there with her arms being her back.
"Go away sweety."
"But mummy...you're bleeding."
Lilly turned around and let the razor go in deeper. She heard Bella's footsteps as she ran away and heard her call Daddy.
Scotty ran into the bathroom and snatched the razor out of her hand. Lilly sunk into his chest and cried her heat out.

While holding a towel against the wound, Scotty called ambulance and Stillman to rush over and look after kids. When paramedics entered the bathroom Scotty with tears in his eyes was sitting on the floor holding Lilly in his arms and whispering "I love you, Lil" over and over. Towel pressed agains her arm was now soaked with blood. Lilly's skin even more pale, she was unconciouss. When they were wheeling Lilly out of the house Stillman arrived. One look into Scotty's eyes told him situation is not good.

When few hours later Lilly woke up she tried moving her arms but they were restrained. She took a look around and met Scotty's red from crying eyes staring at her. He smiled slightly at Lil and moved closer to her.
"Hey" he kissed her on the forehead
"Take these off me" she whispered
"I love you" he continued with soft voice ignoring her request
"Take these off me, now!" Lil raised her voice
"It's not my call, Lil. Hospital policy"
"Then tell them to take these off! Now!" anger grew on her face
"They can't do that" Scotty sat by her side and wanted to stroke her cheek but she moved her face away "They will...you need to stay here for a while, Lilly....they will help you get better" his voice soft
"Go away!" she yelled looking away from him
Scotty sighed and hot up to exit when he heard Lilly whisper "They can't help me. No one can help me"

When few hours later Lilly woke up she tried moving her arms but they were restrained. She took a look around and met Scotty's red from crying eyes staring at her. He smiled slightly at Lil and moved closer to her.
"Hey" he kissed her on the forehead
"Take these off me" she whispered
"I love you" he continued with soft voice ignoring her request
"Take these off me, now!" Lil raised her voice
"It's not my call, Lil. Hospital policy"
"Then tell them to take these off! Now!" anger grew on her face

Lilly started to cry and Scotty snuggled into her. He knew it would take alot to get her back on track.

Durring all group and individual sessions Lilly would act like a detective noticing all the small things about people but would never admit to having problems herself. Scotty came to visit her everyday but Lilly was not speaking to him much, instead she observed his every move. He would bring her new pictures of their kids everyday and that was the only thing Lil would look forward to. After speaking with Scotty Lil's doctor decided to give Lilly one day pass on Sunday so she would spend it with her kids hoping that it would help her more.
Scotty came in the morning to pick up Lilly and drove her to their home.
"Mummy" Isa, Matt and Tammy yelled at the same time seeing Lilly get out of the car. They run out of the home and cluched to her leg causing Lil to fall to the ground. She radiated with smile when three toddlers hugged her. She layed there for longer while kissing and hugging them back. Sunday passed fast with Lilly spending every second with her kids. In the evening, when it was time for Lilly to get back to hospital, Scotty leaned agains the door to couple's bedroom where Lilly lied on the bed with Seirra on her chest, Isa and twins close to her. All on them sound asleep. When he picked up Seirra Lilly and kids awoke.
"Guys, go to your bedrooms and mummy will be right there to tuck you all in" Scotty promped his kids and they all run out ou the room. He placed Seirra in crib that now stood in the bedroom.
"I miss that." Lilly whispered "Miss them"
"They miss you too" Scotty sat down next to her
"After what I did....if...if I divorce you...will you allow me to see them?" she started slowly looking at the ground
"You want a divorce? Why?" his eyes widen in shock
"Because...coz why should be stay together if you don't love me...if you never loved me..." she looked into his eyes

Those arrangements improved Lilly's mental condition a lot over next couple of weeks. Lilly opened a bit during individual and group therapy and doctor was considering discharging Lil soon, but his opinion changed when Lilly learned a shocking history of her new roommate Mia and got obsessed with finding out the truth.
"Vera? Yeah, it's Rush" Lilly called her office "Did you find the box of Marie Richardson? Ok, what you got?"
Lil's doctor seamed worried when he observed, from a distance, Lilly's eyes sparkle when she was writing down information Vera gave her.
"Yeah, got it...Why this case?" Lil reapeted Vera's question with disbelieve "It's a case like any other...Well, her daughter is my roommate. She haven't spoken a word since her mother murder and I just...you know me, Vera. I gotta go, Scotty's here" Lil hung up and run towards her husband.
After visitation time was over doctor met with Scotty.
"Ain't she doin' a lot better? You'll discharge her soon, right?" Scotty grinned
"Yes, she improved but...the old case she got herself into..her work was always important to her, yes?"
"Yeah. She denies it but I think it's her work, then kids and then me" Scotty smiled but his smile disapeared when he noticed doctor's grim face
"We didn't say anything to her before because of her state of mind, but I think it's time to tell her it's huge possibility she will not be allowed to work in police anymore," doctor announced.
Scotty looked down to the ground and slowly nodded, "I guess..I hoped...It will break her heart."

"It's my job."
"I know baby, it's for the best."
Lilly cried harder as Scotty rubbed her back. "Well the good news is that you can go home now."
"I don't care!" Lilly screamed. She jumped up and started throwing things around the room. Scotty tried to stop her but this time, she had lost it!

Scotty sat down and watched as the kids told Lilly stories. He listened as Lilly laughed and noticed how much he missed her laugh.
Scotty went over the ways he could help her but nothing came to mind, he missed the old Lilly, the one that used to be around when they first married.
When Lilly fell asleep, he left hoping to find a way to help.

It few weeks that it took for Lil's doctor to aprove her discharge, Scotty was coming over with kids more often and each time he enjoyed listening to Lilly's laugh. Since she couldn't work officially on the cases Richardson job was taken over by rest of the squad, but Scotty secretely was bringing Lil all the files and she would call him with her ideas. Just days before Lilly's discharge case was solved and Scotty with Stillman visited her roommate to inform of the case closure. When Lil heard the news Scotty spotted the amazing smile apear on her face, smile that he haven't seen in the long while. He knew that Lil was now in pretty good mental condition but he still decided to go ahead with his plan to help her get back to her old self.
When Lilly entered the house after being released form the hospital three toddlers jumped on her. Tears of joy apeared in Lil's eyes while she cuddled and kissed them all. Paul handed her Seirra who was now 6 months old.
Cooper kissed Lil on the forehead, "We're glad to have you home, Lilly."
"I'm glad to be home...finally" she smiled and looked around spotting luggage by the stairs "Who's baggage is that?"
"Yours" Scotty put his hands around her waist.
"Mine?" she srched her eyebrows "I'm moving out?" she lowered her voice.
"Nope. Your amazing husband planned a week's vacations for you." Scotty gently kissed her neck.
"I can't go! I just came back. Want to spend time with my kids!" she raised her voice
"Well...good thing I packed kids things too so they can come with us" Scotty turned her around and kissed her passionatelly

Cooper kissed Lil on the forehead, "We're glad to have you home, Lilly."
"I'm glad to be home...finally" she smiled and looked around spotting luggage by the stairs "Who's baggage is that?"
"Yours" Scotty put his hands around her waist.
"Mine?" she srched her eyebrows "I'm moving out?" she lowered her voice.
"Nope. Your amazing husband planned a week's vacations for you." Scotty gently kissed her neck.
"I can't go! I just came back. Want to spend time with my kids!" she raised her voice
"Well...good thing I packed kids things too so they can come with us" Scotty turned her around and kissed her passionatelly.

"What about work?" Lilly asked a few hours later, just realising.
"Already taken care off."
"But my health check is in 1 week."
"Correction, a week anf a half. We're only going for a week."
Lilly smiled and went over to hug him. "So when we leaving?"
"Tomorrow."
"Oh, well seeing we won't have much time to ourselves, I guess we need to make up for it tonight."
Scotty smirked as he lowered her to the bed.

The next morning Lilly awoke to her head being moved. She opened her eyes to see Isabella, Tamara and Matthew jumping on the bed.

"Mummy," she yelled, trying to yank back the blanket.

"Holiday!" Matty screamed, waking up Scotty.
Scotty laughed as he pulled him closer. "Go get changed, all of you, then we can make breakfast, then we'll go."
The toddlers ran away as Lilly snuggled into Scotty.
"So tired."
"I know, but we need to get ready."
Lilly rolled out of bed and searched for something nice to wear.

Lilly run down the stairs, "Got the keys?" Seeing him nod she closed the door and got into the van, "Where we're going anyway?"
"North Carolina shore" he grinned
"Where? It's a long drive, Scotty." Lil nodded towards the kids, "We will not last with them."
Scotty turned around and opened the dvd player and pressed play. Few minutes later toddlers were enjoying some cartoons while Seirra slept in her car seat. Lilly smiled at her husband, "Hmm..You thought of everything."
"Yeah, well...I wanted to make it perfect. Our first vacation as a family."
"Our first vacation ever, Scotty" Lil kissed him
"I rented a small house by the ocean, found the one with shallow pool for the kids. And tons of attractions around. And we will do whatever you will feel like."
"Hmm..I feel tired...so can I sleep untill we get there, " Scotty nodded and Lil sat comfortably in the seat leaning her head agains the window falling asleep fast.
It wasn't long untill the first fight erupting between toddlers on the back seat. Lil woke up and tried to calm the kids down but nothing was working. She turned to Scotty, "I don't see 'the perfect' part working out."

"Lil, you're ready?" he yelled through the front door.

After 5 minutes, Scotty's angry grew. The kids had not stop fighting and he notcied it was taking a toll on Lilly.
"STOP IT!" Scotty yelled, so loud that Tamara started crying and Seirra woke up.
Lilly sighed as she leaned back to pick up Seirra. She held her against her as Scotty pulled into the Petrol Station.
As Scotty helped the children go the bathroom, Lilly got Seirra back to sleep.
When Scotty and the kids returned, Lilly let herself try to find sleep.

Lilly awoke to loud laughing. She opened her eyes and smile when she saw Scotty helping the kids out of the car.
"Where here?" Lilly asked.
Upon seeing Scotty nod, she stepped outside and stared at the small house. It looked like comfy little home for a family. As she walked to hte side, she saw the tide behind the house.
A smile spread across her face and she ran over to Scotty. She jumped up and hugged Scotty. "I love you," she whispered, placing a trail of soft kisses down his neck.
"Well, I'm glad you like it, and I love you too."
Lilly hugged the kids. She hugged them tightly and literally crushed Isabella.
"Mummy, you're hurting me," she screamed when Lilly spung her around.
Scotty just chuckled at his wife's new attitude.

When they entered the house toddlers started running around chasing each other around the living room. Lilly took Seirra and went to the porch overseeing the ocean.
"Make you some tea?" Scotty asked softly.
"It's amazing here, Scotty. Thank you. And yes...to the tea" she smiled
After bringing Lilly a mug of tea he went to unpack the van. When he was done he came back to the porch and sat down by Lil. He noticed she was at peace enjoying the fresh air. Suddenly Isabella run out of the house and screamed pointing at the ocean, "what is that?"
Scotty chuckled, "That's the ocean, sweetie. It's water but with salt"
"Can we go there, daddy?" Isa climbed the bench and snuggled to Scotty. He looked at Lil, she smiled and nooded her head.
"Sure, lets go get Matt and Tammy." Scotty tood Isa's hand and headed inside.
Minutes later they were walking along the beach. Lilly couldn't help but smile watching her kids play with sand. Scotty smiled inwardly happy that vacation so far was going well. Little did he know, it wouldn't last long.

"It's amazing here, Scotty. Thank you. And yes...to the tea" she smiled

Lilly watched as Scotty tried to pull Bella off of Tammy.
"Isabella, get off your sister."
Bella moved back and hugged Scotty's leg.
"Don't you ever hurt like that again," he whispered, making sure Tamara was okay.
"Get back into to bed, all fo you." Lilly yelled, ushering the children out.
"But mummy I want the the big bed." Isabella whispered yanking at her trousers.
"I don't care, now go to bed," she repeated.
Isabella stormed out and slammed her door shut. After Scotty tucked Tammy into bed they both returned to their bedrooms.
"God, what a great vacation," she whispered, snuggling up to Scotty.
"Sorry Lil, I just thought it would be best if they came along."
"I want them here, I just want this to be a good holiday."
"It will." Scotty whispered, pulling the covers up.
Scotty sighed, hoping thigns would get better.

When Lilly woke up the next day house seamed awfully quiet. She turned to see the clock and jumped out of the bed realizing it was noon already. She looked into bedrooms but they were empty, beds neatly made. She got to the living room but there was no one there either. She heard a faint laughter coming from the outside and when she got there she saw Scotty and toddlers sitting in the small pool playing. Few feet away Seirra was playing with her toys in the playpen.
"Hey" Lil aproached the pool with cheerful attitude
"Mummy," like a choir all toddlers responded
"You like the pool?"
"They love it. You should join us." Scotty spashed a little bit of water in Lil's direction.
"Don't!" she backed off.
Scotty squinted his eyes and grinned. He looked at kids, "Mummy should join us, right guys?" Toddlers responded again as a choir smiling at their mum, "Yeah!"
Scotty splashed more water in Lilly's direction and jumped out of the pool chasing after his wife.
"Scotty, don't" she begged playfully but he would't listen. He grabbed her by the waist and dragged her to the pool with loud approval of his actions coming from their kids.

"Don't!" she backed off.
Scotty squinted his eyes and grinned. He looked at kids, "Mummy should join us, right guys?" Toddlers responded again as a choir smiling at their mum, "Yeah!"
Scotty splashed more water in Lilly's direction and jumped out of the pool chasing after his wife.
"Scotty, don't" she begged playfully but he would't listen. He grabbed her by the waist and dragged her to the pool with loud approval of his actions coming from their kids.



Lilly screamed as the water came up to her waist.
"Scotty lift me up," she screamed.
Scotty gently helped her stand and she lent back in his arms. The toddlers laughed at Lilly's drenched pajamas.

A few hours later as LIlly was making lunch, Isabella came running into the kitchen.
"Mummy, can I talk you?"
"Sure honey, what's going on?"
"Are you still sick?"
"No honey, I'm fine."
"Is daddy going to get sick?"
"No, why would he?"
"Yesterday, when you were sleeping in the car, he told me that if he gets sick that he wants me to know he loves me."
Lilly looked suspiciously at the her daughter. "He was just joking honey."
"Okay, I'm hungry."
"I'm, making lunch, go sit with daddy."
So Bella ran off leaving Lilly suispicious of her husband's health.

Later on as the family ate lunch together, Lilly watched as Scotty ate. He was barley eating at all and he hadn't touched any of his salad.
"Scotty, you okay?" Lilly asked, looking closely at him.
"Yeah, just feeling a bit tired."
Lilly nodded and went back to eating. A few minutes later Scotty stood up and put his untouched plate on the table.
"I think I might go take a nap."
Isabella ran after him trying tp pull him back but he wouldn't budge.
"I'm tired honey, let me sleep."
Bella started to cry and Lilly had to pick her up, bring her over to the couch and try and calm her down. She kept crying and whispering, "Daddy's dieing!"

Later on as the family ate lunch together, Lilly watched as Scotty ate. He was barley eating at all and he hadn't touched any of his salad.
"Scotty, you okay?" Lilly asked, looking closely at him.
"Yeah, just feeling a bit tired."

After calming Isabella down, Lilly cleaned up after lunch and placed all kids for their afternoon nap. She then went to check on Scotty. Lil was surprised that he wasn't asleep, instead he lied on the bed staring at the ceiling but when he spotted her he closed his eyes.
Lilly sat down on the bed close to him, "I know you're not sleeping, Scotty." He didn't open his eyes or move so Lil lied down cuddling to him, "I'm the secret-keeping half, the one pretending everything's alright, not you....talk to me, Scotty"
He turned away from her, "everything is fine."
Lil moved to the other side of the bed, "Scotty, please tell me, what's wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong!" he raised his voice getting up from the bed but stopped and sat next to Lil. "I'm tired. Very tired, ok? It's been hard doing all family crap without you."
Lilly looked into his eyes and knew that there's more to the story, "You're not-"
"Let's just enjoy the vacation, ok?" He interrupted his wife trying to avoid her eyes.
Lil looked at him suspiciously, "Ok..." she dropped the subject knowing that whatever was going on with him she wouldn't get it out of him now.
He put his hands around her waist and kissed her on the neck, "Kid's asleep?" Seeing her nod he gently pushed her onto a bed and placed kisses on her neck and shoulders, "Let's...then-"
"But we have to be quiet," she whispered.
Scotty grinned and looked into her eyes, "Look who's talking."

Lilly grew tired of his ignorance and decided to get his attention. "Scotty I'm so horny right now."
Scotty instantly looked up and stared at his wife. Lilly let out a loud laugh and punched him softly in the arm.
"You like it that...way?" Scotty asked, stuttering through his words.
Lilly laughed harder and stood up. "You never know," she whispered and left.

While Lilly was making breakfast, the toddlers stood by watching their mother struggle to cook.
Scotty came running in and wrestled them into the carpet. Lilly groaned as her husband and kids got into a mini wrestling match on the floor.

Next two days instead of enjoying the vacations and spending all her attention on Scotty and the kids, Lilly turned on her detective mode observing her husband's every move. He still didn't eat much and although be played with the kids as much as possible he seamed tired all the time. Against her better judgement, Lilly decided to call Jeffries and asked him to pull and check Scotty's phone records for any suspicious calls.
"Will, I need to know what's going on with him," she tried to convince Will for most of the conversation, "and talking to him ain't working."
"Lil, do you trust him?"
She hestitated before answering, "Yeah..yes, I do."
"Then wait for him to tell you...Lil, enjoy your time down there. Bye."
Before she could say anything Will hung up. Lilly immidiatelly called Vera and asked him the same about pulling records but he refused also.
"Crap!" she cursed hanging up. She went outside and cursed again when she saw Scotty passed out on the porch floor. Rushing over to him she dialed for ambulance, "Scotty? Scotty! Yes, I need an ambulance..."
By the time paramedics showed up Scotty was awake and he refused to get any treatment, "I'm fine, Lil."
"You're going to the clinic. I need to hear from a doctor that you're fine."
"No! I'm not goin'!" Scotty tried to get up, but got dizzy and fell back on the floor. Lilly nodded to paramedics to take him. When they were placing Scotty in ambulance Lil packed the kids into a van and both cars drove off to the clinic.
