Saw the promo for it tonight while I was watching a rerun of CSI Miami. Looks good!
Can you believe there's only 5 more episodes to the end of the season?

Don't know when the finale airs yet! Maybe I'll check TV Tome later, it might have some news.
Again, another intense episode. At the end, when Julia's friend hung up the picture of Julia, I almost cried. This episode addresses the issue of abortion in a different light ----- usually we only hear about abortion doctors being murdered by anti-abortionists, so the JANE movement is something new to watch.
No Kite today, but there were some cute Lilly-Scotty moments, particularly with Alyssa. I also liked Lilly's exchange with Louie (have we met him before?) when he grumbles that he's supposed to be doing this in the lab, she promises not to tell anyone and then cheerily asks if he'd like an Orange Crush. Kathryn rocks my world.
God, I love this show.

I thought this was an awsome episode.
Some things I picked up on:
I think Lilly had an abortion. When her and Scotty are talking to that lady and she tells Scotty that everyone knows someone who's had an abortion, the camera goes to Lilly who sort of looks down. And then in another scene, I can't remember, one of the girls who had an abortion is talking to Lilly and she looks like she's about to cry when she hears the mention of a baby.
Hmm... I could be wrong, but it might explain why Lilly is sort of afraid to get close to someone.

Hi everyone! I'm new to the board. I've been lurking for a few days, but I decided to post after seeing last night's ep. I've been watching Cold Case since the premiere, and like most of you I love the writing/acting/etc. Now, about last night's ep:
CC Fan - I was thinking the same thing too about Lilly having an abortion, but then I thought that might be too controversial. Maybe someone close to her? I don't know. She was definitely acting like she had personal experience. I noticed at the very end of the show, she kept that one photograph, and she kept looking at it. Interesting.

Loved last night's episode, but I missed the names of the guest stars. Was that Chris Sarandon or was my eyesight just failing me? I can't find anything to tell me for sure. Any Buffy fans love seeing Tara again? ;D

I loved this episode, I was so excited to get a new one to watch.
Have I missed something, who was the girl Scotty was talking to, is she his girlfriend or do we know?
Now see when they mentioned that about an abortion I thought it was Scotty who looked like he had been through that with someone. I will have to go back and watch for Lily reaction again.
This episode was a really emotional one, I have loved each and every ending of this show, I think the way they end this show is what makes it so special.
To answer the previous question, yes the murder was Chris Sarandon or at least he played the modern day person. I have no idea who played the character in the past.

WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHO KILLED THEM? Dang! I fell off to sleep for about 10 min. and when I opened my eyes, they were showing Lilly looking at the picture. I was tiffed. ;D Welcome to all the newbies. This is a really nice laid back board to discuss the cases. Illigal abortions were a big deal in my early years. So you can just about figure out how old I am. Yes, just about everyone knew someone who had an illigal abortion. Thank god I was lucky not to get pregnant. One of my best friends were butchered in one of those dirty rooms. I tried to stop her but she was really scared of being pregnant. Her boyfriend went with her. She was a mess for days after. Infection. I stayed with her as much as I could. Just to watch what she went through, convinced me if I did get pregnant, I would not have an abortion. There were several really good clean doctors who were giving them. But you had to be lucky to hear of them or have the money they asked for. A lot of these cases brings back memories to me because they were many years ago. But this one hit home. I called my girlfriend and asked if she had watched this episode, she was crying. Yep, this girlfriend was the one who had the abortion years ago. She only had one child since she's been married because she could never go to full terms in her pregnancies. We relate that to the abortion. Saying all of this is to say, I think Lilly have had an abortion or known someone who has, but I'm sure it was not the same experience. Lilly looks too young to be in those days of illigal abortions. Again, would someone tell me who was the killer? Thanks lizzbitt

*SPOILERS* *SPOILERS*
It was the leader of the commune Julia and Gerard were in. They found out he was spying for the FBI or something, and to the blaring to of Joe Cocker's "I Shall Be Released", he shot them both, also taking pics of the black-haired girls boyfriend to frame him.

Hi EVERYONE! I'm glad to see more and more people are joining! We're almost at 100 I agree with everyone, this episode was really good, and although I can't relate to basically any of it (i'm only 15), I thought the acting was good. Another thing I noticed: I remember in one of the episodes, there was a mention of Scotty knowing someone with schizophrenia. Maybe this is the girl. And i get this feeling that it's not his girlfriend. Maybe a sister or old friend.

OMG!
Thanks Falling!
The leader of the commune. I thought it was the boyfriend of the girl who had the abortion.
I was glad to see Amber Benson. I've missed her since Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Tara. I hated to see her leave the show.
Thanks again.

Good episode...I didn't know that in the states in the 60's abortion was against the law.....Scotty's gal is pretty what's she been in because she looks very familar...I though it was so cute when she said that Lilly was beautiful and Lil was like thanks after blushing nothing wrong with being frank (I'm saying it cause I'm like that you know telling it how it is).

good point. i didnt either. i wonder what happened though, it doesnt appear to be against the law now... (someone correct me if im wrong) it hasn't gone away though. i know everytime i drive by a certain building in my town, i see a sign against abortion. i guess there are stil some people against it. personally, i dont know what id do, or what i would have done if i was in the time frame of 'volunteers'

I think it IS illegal now to have an abortion, but I don't know about the 60's, and I think I've heard that the only thing standing between a vote on the legalization of abortion is Presdient Bush. But then again, I could be wrong...
