Shoot! The above message is mine. Sorry, I screwed up somehow and posted as a guest.
It should read, "I've been hooked on Cold Case since I watched a rerun of A Time to Hate."

Haven't seen the episode yet, I TiVo'd it and my parents are finishing a movie, so I'll get a chance to see it in like 20 minutes. From what I've hear, this epi sounds good! Can't wait to see it. Well, CC, you wanted Lilly to let her hair down! ;D ~Naj

Hi misguided freak, We can see your ip--so it's no problem. I've done it before myself. Oh the fries. Yes, that was funny. I need to watch the episode again. I need to see these twice for some reason. [glow=red,2,300]A new thought about this episode...[/glow] I really liked the actor they used to portray the younger Stillman and maybe they could use him again in the future. But was that actor really talking or was Stillman being used to dub his voice because they seemed to sound the same? Hmmm... ~Naj

I love every bit of revelation about Lilly's character---though I like the current slow, puzzle-pieces slowly being put on the table approach that they're using right now to do it and don't want them to rush it, even while I do --- so one of the stand out things about this episode was 'her comfort level as defined by her hairstyle.' I loved when she let her hair down for her cats, while she seemed to look at it as some level of intimacy that she wasn't ready for yet for Kite to be allowed the same glimpse. (I made a little icon to try to get my inner fangirl squeal out of my system (since I hadn't found anyone to squeal with about this at the time after the episode) that's up for sharing if anyone would like it! ~m&m

Hmmm... ~Naj I read some where that they did dub in Stillman's voice for the young actor! m&m your icon looks awesome! where did you get the caps? if it's possible, can you make me an icon of that Lilly-and-fries scene? thanks!

Saw the episode.
Never thought it was the store owner. But why should we accuse him. We didn't see the stealing until the end. I did think it was the mother. Glad it wasn't.
What I would like to know is why those deformed cats? Maybe Lilly feels sorry for that type of thing. Someone has to love them.

Hi m&m, I just love your sig pic. I just loved that scene in the episode...getting a glimpse of Lilly at home. I don't know how much you wanna share that sig but we could make it an avatar or you can just keep it and we'll get to see it with your posts. If you are into making montages we can start a place for you to add them! That is excellent! I just love it....I've played that part of the ep over a few times already! I, too, like the way they are giving us small pieces of everything.....{sigh} Hi misguied freak! I thought it looked like a dub. I didnt' catch it on the first scene but thought so later on. Still I liked the actor they chose to play him. Hi lizzbitt, I thought that ole Lilly has so much compassion for those that are hurt or not wanted. That orange cat kinda caught me offguard and Kite had an interesting reaction to it. I chuckled! ~Naj

Hi misguided freak (that doesn't make me feel very polite ) --- I loved that scene so much; I love what it 'said' about Lilly to love cats that other people might 'throw away' and that last scene of 'safety and comfort' from and with them---it said a lot without spelling it out, and I love that kind of writing. Thank you for your thought on the icon! I did try to get some good screen caps of the fries scene too because it was so priceless ---I'm still trying to figure out the process of it all so the quality is a little poor, but I'll see if I can dig them up for you or redo them if they're worse than I remember . I'll get back to you, I promise! Hi Naj! I'd be honored to have that icon used for an avatar if you think it will work as one---please feel free to use in any way you'd like! As much as patience has never been a virtue of mine, the slow unraveling of story has just been wonderful. And of course, playing every little nugget that moves us several times is a good way to pass the time until the next one . Thanks! ~m&m

Hey everyone! I'm gone for like an hour and theres so much going on when I get back. I love it! Anyway, I agree, the cat thing was cute, and I totally loved the way she put her hair down only for her cats. I was thinking it meant she's the type of person that will open up to you once you get to know her. And yeah, the one eyed cat broke my heart, but then what Kite said about the tripod, I couldn't stop laughing. That's another thing about this show I really like, is that they add humor, and it's not pushed, it just feels natural.

Thanks so much m&m! I just love that fries scene! Hmm ... maybe I should change my nickname ;D I really like how this show is slowly revealing its characters to us. We've gotten to know about Lilly's mother ... we now know that she adopts special-needs-cats, and that she doesn't yet feel comfortable letting down her hair for Kite We've also had two cases, one that deals with Vera's past, the other to do with Stillman's; and there's also been some hints that Scotty "knows someone" with schizophrenia. This show manages to keep on track with its cases, yet develop its characters at the same time. The writers do a great job!

This show manages to keep on track with its cases, yet develop its characters at the same time. That's so true! To be so strong in both elements and to keep them in balance so that neither overpowers the other takes something special in terms of writing, and Cold Case definitely has what it takes . It creates such amazing individual stories with depth and strong development while it continually builds on the strength of its overall premise and cast of characters. (misguided, I was a little unsure about the PM feature on the board, but I sent you one with the icon in it since I wasn't sure about just posting it. At least I hope it was in it and I hope I sent it ). ~m&m

I got them, thanks so much, m&m! They look great! I'm gonna use the icon right now!
I hope the show will keep it up and not go too much into the romantics. I'd love to see some more Kite/Rush happening, but not if it will take too much focus away from the cases.

hi misguided freak,
omg! that fries icon is hilarious!!!! Look at Lilly's expression.
I agree, I don't want the romance or whatever it is to take away from the show but I do like knowing something more about private things.
