I liked some of the scenes with the detectives and the kiss scene.
I have to admit, I really didn't care for this episode just because of that stupid professor. I mean, seriously.
I know it's a TV show but it just didn't make sense.
Kinda like the episode with James who called Lilly a few episodes ago, even though he didn't do it.

Good episode.
Jeffrey Nordling did a phenomenal job of portraying Roy Minard - a charming, evil, sleazy psychopath, full of hubris. Perfect episode title. How arrogant was Roy to think that asking the detectives to solve his case would clear him?
I really liked the scene between Lilly and the prostitute's friend. It gave her a really human side. It's sad that we didn't get to see the other girl's ghost- it would have been touching if the friend had seen it.
Holly was a little naive, but I guess a lot of college students are. I could see why she would fall for Roy. I'm glad that her parents finally found peace (and they were right).
I don't mind the detectives love life storylines, but I find them really boring on rewatch, so I usually fast forward through them. I find the cases themselves much more compelling.
