Has anyone been noticing how lippy/snippy Lilly gets with her suspects. I just saw the latest promo on for tonight while watching football. Lilly has an attitude! I love it. ;D ~Naj

OMG! Lilly got kissed! And afterwards she backed up into a trash can! <rotfl> Good line: "Would you tell your dad your sex life"? Loved the look on Lilly's face. Liked the opening song by Adam Ant "Wonderful". ~Naj

The song at the end I think was by Oasis.... I've been known to be wrong though. '95 was a lifetime ago...
My two cents - with a penny for change, Tarik
*edited to add: As for the kiss... they're starting to round out her character a bit more - she's not just a brain/good investigator with a cute 'do... I like the slow building of her personality!!

Hey Tarik,
That scene where Lilly meets DA Kite after the kiss reminded me of Lyre, Lyre when Joxer asks Gab if she was doing anything later... it had that brush off type scenario to it... ;D

I thought the kiss was a bit awkward... but maybe that's just me . I just thought it's a bit too fast; if they bring that out near end of the season it might be easier for me to accept... but then again, that's probably just me About the episode... the prof was a bit freaky... and even more scary than the schizophrenic kid... they are actually OK as long as they stay on their med. And Scotty seems to know quite a bit about schizophrenic and Shakespeare plays... I wonder why . Anybody wanna take a guess?

Maybe that's because Lilly isn't interested. Which is what came across. I can't even remember this character appearing before. Maybe Lilly's a loner! Hmmmm. why would Scotty know about schizophrenic and Shakespeare plays? Tell me. ~Naj

i TiVo'd tonights episode and I'm planning on watching it tomorrow, depending on my hw load, but it sounds interesting. Cool about the whole kiss thing. i'm just glad it wasn't with scotty, then we'd know this show is doomed.

Hey Tarik, That scene where Lilly meets DA Kite after the kiss reminded me of Lyre, Lyre when Joxer asks Gab if she was doing anything later... it had that brush off type scenario to it... ;D ~Naj Ah... the brush off!! AGH! I haven't seen LLHOF in about a year... you're going to make me buy Season 5 DVDs when they come out, aren'tcha?! HA HA! Wonder if they're going after subtext here... just kidding! She didn't look like she didn't enjoy it ... but then again, I hate fake Hollywood kisses... usually no chemistry of which to speak!! I like the mysterious past of Lilly... slowly bringing in why she does what she does for a living could be deeply personal... will be an interesting side story!!! Rather like the movie The Cell where Vince Vaughn's character hints that he, too, like the killer, was abused as a child, yet they left it at that. Left chills up my spine! Yeah!!! I was pretty sure I had the band right! Thanks Mcruff! Another thumbs up... that song brought back some memories, lemmeetellya!! *edited for spelling

I agree Tarik. I'm thinking they have to slowly bring in some of Lilly's personal background to show us how she got to be a detective.

i'm just glad it wasn't with scotty, then we'd know this show is doomed. Hey CC, Heh. I have to agree that if Scotty was the one who kissed Lilly, the show is doomed. I'm not really in favor of the "romance between partners" thing and besides, Scotty seems younger than Lilly and for some unknown reason that kind of stuff also gives me the goosebumps... alright I'll save the rest of my nonsense for my xanga .

Hmmmm. why would Scotty know about schizophrenic and Shakespeare plays? Tell me. Hey Naj, I can't be sure of this so I probably have to go back and watch the tape, but I think when they were searching that schizophrenic kid's place (can't remember his name... sorry), Scotty mentioned that he knows someone who's schizophrenic (just something from my personal experience... schizophrenics really aren't that bad as long as they stay on their meds, but those that refuse to take their meds on time can really drive you nuts). I don't know about the Shakespeare plays; maybe that will come out later. But it sure was funny for me to watch them flipping through Sparknotes .

hey naj! yeah, I agree about the whole partner thing. Looks at X-Files. Once the two of them got together, the show totally started falling in ratings. I think it might be interesting if the two (the guy she kissed) of them got together, it might make for interesting storylines, perhaps if she needs a favor, but he doesn't want it to seem like special treatment.

I thought the kiss was pretty good. But I really don't know this guy. Kinda new with the show. I thought the Professor was as stupid as they come. He had gotten away with murder for years and he wanted his status back. But glad he had the case opened back up. So now he's paying for his crime. Hi CC Fan.. I disagree with you on the X-Files show. Mulder and Scully never got together. Lots of fans were hoping they would get together but they didn't. Plus the show was going down after the 6 or 7 season. But you're right, I think the show stayed on for years because Scully and Mulder didn't get together. Are there any other detective shows that the partners are lovers? I can't think of any. So Lilly should not become involve with the guy. Loved this episode. lizzbitt

Hey lizz. About the x-files thing, i didn't mean, together together, but at the end of season 8 when they kissed, and throughout that whole season, they definitly liked eachother. I just remember in season 9 when he went missing and it was all about how much she 'needed' him and 'missed' him and blah blah blah. Totally depressing. I can't really think of any other shows, except for Without A Trace and CSI, I don't know who the coupling is gonna be: Catherine and Grissom or Sara and Grissom. But other than that, usually shows don't do it, because it's always a sign of Jumping the Shark.
