Wow!!  Thank you for your thoughts on this episode..and I agree with what you said. I didn't catch all those little details, but I'm glad you pointed them out..  Thanks  Oh! I just remembered one more thing, Eurache!!! Do you remember the final montage? Terri and her mom were having dinner or something together. It was nice to see the two of them together, especially since Terri was the one daughter that moved out. And when they showed the shot of Roween on the couch with a book---she was on the last page! That was soooo cool! Not just at the end of another chapter, but finally ready to move on to something new! I tell ya, my heart quivered a bit when I noticed that!!! |

I just loved the ending with Lilly and Rar, how happy she was when he arrived. I think she is now a happier person since he came back .The scene where they are talking , i thought she was thinking of a way to get out work to be with him ... She hasn't had this kind of love in a long time .

I just loved the ending with Lilly and Rar, how happy she was when he arrived. I think she is now a happier person since he came back .The scene where they are talking , i thought she was thinking of a way to get out work to be with him ... She hasn't had this kind of love in a long time . I agree. Yet I also agree with you that she and Scotty should hook up too. I really wonder about this Ray. The episode didn't reveal much about him, especially why he's away from Philly and can't be there more often. That **really** upset me, and I think thats why the first time I saw this episode, I was like,'HUH?  ' |

I think lilly's inner emotions got in the way when ray showed up, one part of her wanted to be alone the other part was longing for love. I don't think she has felt that way in a long time even with kite . both her scotty both want each other ,but after christina i can't be like that . I think if they gave each other a change , i'd don't think scotty would ever harm her . I have a question how do really know if ray is married and just wants to be with lilly for old time sakes

Maybe the way Ray and Julius both wore motorcycle jackets, swept women off their feet, etc... maybe the writers are hinting he's taking Lilly 'for a ride' like Julius??? HMMMMMM....... |

good point boxman, she might be taken for a ride . I think lilly's is a lot more educated then roween was in this matter after all cops are trained for this. I think lilly does realize this but is too proud to give him up, for one thing she needs this more then anything else. another fact is lilly is might be getting and tried of being single . She's not getting any older and that cats should be the only thing she sees when she arrives home. I like how scotty was so protective over older , and was willing to get rid of Ray, Lilly should have let him done that after all we all know scotty will always be there for her .

But Lilly was aware that he was only around for a couple of days so I don't think she was under any illusions. Besides, a long term relationship might not be what she wants; with him anyway. Perhaps she just wanted to remember how good things were back in the day when she was with him when everything else in her life was bad, kind of a bit like now :smile10:
Whatever happens, whether we see him again or not, I hope there is some mention of what came of the situation.
BTW, on watching the ep again I noticed a scene wher Lilly has just shut the interogation door on Scotty and walks back to the table. Ray says something, she looks at him and then he turns to her and and she takes a kind of sharp breathe. I just got the impression from that small reaction that he really has an effect on her, in that kind of way! How sweet; Kite never quite did that for her. :smile20: :smile20:

Well , I think in heart she longed to be with him for a very long time. she now is realizing that once you find someone you really love don't let them get away . When he pulled up in front ofher house , she has sparkles in her eyes ,like she was glad that he was coming home to her ... That's all she ever wanted in lfe beside solving cold case murders ..............I think she's being normal again ,feeling upbeat and happy but not mushy ..... Let's hope even though( I personally don't care for him that much)he stay awile so he can love lilly more

LongIsland: Yes! I think so too. She's just a little more upbeat, happy....I think it's great. I mean, I have no doubt this isn't a permanent thing. But I think it's good that she's getting at least a few days (Haha, hopefully more!) of having someone around.

Maybe after this experience maybe she'll start dating someone . In my mind i'm hoping scotty but maybe it's someone that's not a cop or anyone she works with .. She is getting used to have someone around , I hope when he leaves she doesn't want him to go. I think she is very attached to him she was in heaven when he pulled up to her house. It was like" my knight has arrived" sort of things. Who know's maybe they'll stay , but he looks too good to be true for her.

I hope the writers keep ray but do what they did in this episode , keep in off the the side and focus on the case. I like when lilly's happy , this was the icing on the cake.Now we can expect beeter episodes then before

She still had in in all the 'work' scenes in the ep. I think that just cos a guy is around it doesn't change everything that has happened to her. She'll always have issues. I'd just like to see Lilly a little more contented with life. I want her to feel she has a life, professional and personal and is doing exactly what she wants to without being afraid of getting hurt. I don't like seeing her hurt or sad, which she has been looking like for most of this season. |
