I think Sonny and I share a brain (haha) because as usual, I agree with everything she said.
Haha! Yes! Lilly finally got some! ;D
But I thought the scenes between Lil and Ray were really great. I mean, Lilly stayed as Lilly. They weren't really mushy (IMO), and I think (as Sonny said) we got to see how Lilly made it clear that work with her is a priority. I loved the opening scene, with the guys teasing her about 'the guy with the harley' and her comment of 'tell him I'm dead' was great.
The case, I thought, was really good. Haha, as Irishkale, R2K, and Eurache know, this one scored really high on the 'Soccer Kleenex Scale' (hehe). I felt so bad for Roween, and I was so mad at Julius! GAH! It was a really emotional case and I thought Roweens character was just so - well, so darn likeable. I hated to see her die.

I do not like the character that Tracie Thoms plays. I think this actress is really stiff and most go. Also, I would have liked to see Lilly involved in more of the interrogations, asking the tough questions. It seemed that Scotty did most of the talking. Hi ecooper, I totally miss Lilly running the show/interrogations too. A big step back for the series, imo.

I think it was the impression that most "good" girls are fasinated with bad boys. Two different stories but some similarities The "bad boy" image with the jackets Interesting! Both had the 'bad boy' look, but while one was indeed a bad boy, the other made himself into a small-business owner. Nice contrast!

Ok, here goes: (this is about the Lilly-MC-storyline, not the case. The case I thought was GREAT and so were the actors!)
Ok, to clear it up some I want to say that they could have done the lovestory MUCH worse, and with MUCH more mush and ewky things. Luckily they didn't, and IMO this was the best way it could happen if she had to be jumping for the guy. However, what I didn't like was this "new" Lilly... AGAIN! (Me is starting to think the woman is bipolar or something) And I didn't get how she could first tell Scotty to tell him she was dead, and then jump for him like that, right away when they met? And this is LILLY we're talking about. The Lilly who's b*tchslaped most guys she's been interogating (most deserved it of course), and who took like what, a year, to invite Kite inside. I just don't get her. And I miss the old Lilly. I guess that's really what all this is about. But I just have to say: That Ray guy... What a hunk! ;D (Even better than when he was in Strong Medicine)

Eurache, We had one person with the vault combination and the other with a key. Both needed to get in. And only a few have the information. Guess I missed what they were doing with the combination scene. Guess it's different depending where you are. Also the alarm button isn't something you can pick up. It's attached soldly. But I guess they had to show the audience there is something called an "alarm button".

What a hunk! ;D (Even better than when he was in Strong Medicine) But the guys were taking the pi$$ out of her, she probabley wanted a. to shut them up, b. to cover her real feelings and c. to put on a tough act. She never was or has been pi$$ed with Ray [you could tell that from 8 years]. It was all an act, to cover her true feelings. Look at how she said "Hi" to him! She was way pleased to see him, nervous [cos of the "Oh crap] but pleased. I wouldn't say it's a NEW Lilly, we've not seen her in this situation before. And way back when, she did take off with him 2 weeks into knowing him. Characteristics don't change just cos you've got a sensible job and grown up a bit. Passion is always the same and she obviously wanted him. Her relationship with Kite can't really be compared. I can imagine that Ray knows alot about Lilly's past and she has history with him, which must be kind of comforting to her. One positive element of her past. Kite was new and knew nothing about her, which is probabley why it took her longer to get with him. These are all just my theories of course and while I'd love it if everyone were as pleased with me i understand that we are all entitiled to our opinions. I just trust the writers and believe that Lilly is their precious! They wouldn't do anything with her without careful consideration and without an ultimate purpose. This has to lead somewhere, it won't just be left, could it??? *Takes deep breath on mission to change sukkers opinion* ;D
