CBS now has this scheduled for next Friday Feb. 6.... my TiVo doesn't show a new Cold Case for that particular Friday, but it does have a weird "Title not available" slot right after Joan of Arcadia and Jag, so it must be in that third slot. This slot usually shows "The Handler", which I heard is in ratings trouble.
The closing montage of this episode is my absolute favorite -- the background music is Billy Joel's "She's Got a Way" -- it's perfectly suited to the mood of the episode... I darn near tear'd up as montage was playing...

Very nice irishkale!
I'd forgotten about that ending of that episode. That may be another ep I didn't tape. The nice thing about this show is they make their own Lilly/cast song videos. Thanks so much. I enjoy this kind of stuff.
I went to your site. I wasn't able to view the big picture there, though.
You don't happen to have the end of "The Letter"? I loved when Lilly was walking by the Cold Case stacks and stopped to look down the aisle and there was Sadie.

In alot of places I see this episode is called "Love Conquers Al". I know there's a character in it called "Al". Is it "Al" or "All?" I've been calling it "All", but I am often wrong

aha! i see now. This was the first ep we see Scotty. The other partner of Lilly was replaced because he was diabetic and needed day work. I think this is the first we see DA Kite and Lilly doesn't like him. Refers to him as an 'Ivey League Jerk', and 'above cops'. Scotty notices right away that Kite is checking out Lilly. I totally missed this first time thru. ~Naj

I had only seen bits and pieces of this before, so it was nice to see the entire thing. THINGS I NOTICED THIS TIME 'ROUND: - Scotty appears to have a small harem/fan club. Dude, he's such a ladies man in this ep it's not even funny (OK, actually, it is). - Jane could very well be the secret mother of Ashley, the character in the CSI episode "Coming of Rage". Both are pretty and seemingly innocent, and they enjoy smashing people's heads in as a way of solving their problems. - Duuuuuuuuuuuuude! If the blood's been in a car for 22 YEARS, Luminol is NOT going to pick it up. Use the ALS! - It is not good to watch episodes with '80's music around your mother, for she will flash back to the time when she was young and begin to dance. It burns us, precious!! - Lilly's hair is like some horrible beast that fights with her every time she tries to put it up. I can imagine her attempting to go for a normal ponytail and the hair fighting its way out of the elastic, thus creating the half-up, half-down semi-mullet. It has a mind of it's own. Her hair is an entity unto itself! - Heh. Lilly sees dead people. <has to dodge the rotten vegetables because of the lame joke> OK, I have no life.

And Scotty admits he isn't seeing anyone as in a girlfriend/love interest. This ep was quite revealing into some personal stuff. The first time around I missed it completely because I wasn't thinking they would build on this personal tidbits..... ~Naj

****Didn't those women he kept talking about he said had to do with a previous case or something....was he lying? I think they were from a previous case or something, but the way he talked to them just sounded very un-professional. I kept expecting Lilly to say, "OK, Scotty, your shift is over. You may return to your harem now." They probably were for cases, but I have a twisted mind. I noticed that, too, how much character development they had. It made me smile, 'cause I'm a sucker for char. dev. And thanks for the hair link, there was a pic in the article where she had nice hair.

Hi Mercury,
Yea that ep was chock full of tidbits about their personal lives and things around the office that we didn't know. And I totally missed it the first time thru.
Ain't that hair link something? I figured there was a reason her hair had to be the way it is. Have you ever noticed her slacks how they are tailored?

I'd somehow missed this ep before, but it just played again. It's the first time we meet the new partner. There were parts that seemed so funny to me when she maked comments about Kite given that we now know they've got a thing going. I was actually laughing out loud when she refers to him the "Ivy league jerk" and when Scotty comments that Kite is checking her out. It's just so funny now. Great though somewhat predictable episode.

I just rewatched this episode and I love it so. It has such a twisted vibe, it is really fun to watch. I love the look on Lilly's face when they are doing the confession at the end. She looks like, "OK, time to step away from the crazy people." It cracks me up. This whole episode appeals to my dark sense of humor.

Hi onebyone,
I liked this episode too. I liked all the personal tidbits the writers gave us of the characters.
