I found this episode dull.
I must say that Truck Sugar is both the most stupid and the most hilarious name for any victim in this show. Truck Sugar! I kept waiting for one of the detectives to make a joke about it, but none did.
The case was boring. I felt I'd seen the exact storyline about musicians before. I didn't care about any of the characters. I didn't care about Truck wanting to remain true to the music. Compared to all the actual heroic victims we've had, Truck's noble cause just seemed a little lame.

Agree with you about this episode. It didn't do much for me from the plot to the victim and like with with a couple of other episodes, I felt the choice of the doer was weak when there was someone with a much stronger motive. Yes Dusty was an addict desperate for money but I felt Edie had a much stronger motive. Not only was Tuck going to end their career together to pursue his own dreams but he was also breaking up with her. Cold Case is fond of heat of the moment killings..and I think hearing that your lover that you thought you had wrapped around your finger was dumping you and ending your musical duo would qualify.
