Yee Ha!
Well we got a bit of things people wanted in this show. A Road trip, Scotty and Lilly heavy, Scotty and Lilly private moments, some more lighthearted moments among the cast.
It was interesting to see the collaboration of the team from two locations.
I loved Stillman's Charlie Brown Tree. They even have Christmas more prominent this year. That's kinda nice. So glad the music wasn't over powering on the one artist ep. I reallly enjoyed this episode.
Little Sister and Big Daddy. Loved it. I actually liked that guy in charge or their department in Tennessee. Loved Scotty and Lilly at the end and Lilly with Big Daddy at the bar.
More later. It's late here.

The episode was okay.. I loved the scene at the hotel with Lilly in pyjamas with Scotty, acting like two good friends. It's nice how they were more open towards each other, I kind of wish that there was something more but it was just nice and well written.. One thing was good was that mean scotty mention to Lilly that everything that happens stays in Nashville. I abosuletly loved Lilly's pyjamas so cute. Btw, can some post Screencaps of Lilly and Scotty at the hotel?? Scotty at the end dancing was funny

Wow, I loved this episode! And of course my favorite scene was also the Lilly/Scotty moment in the hotel. It is really great how they can just open up to each other and keep each other's secrets! And I totally LOVED Lilly's pj's!!! I have GOTTA find me some like them! And I wonder what kind of candybar she had...? all I could think of what it could be was a TAKE-5, b/c it's red, but it was probably some off-brand, or just red paper...lol, but it could have also been a hint to what Lilly likes! ;D The music was great, Tim Mcgraw has so many good songs and I actually knew a few of them, lol, b/c I am from the south This episode is totally one of my top 10, if not top 5 (I'd have to think a while to find the EXACT #)

Me too. ;D This is beginning to sound like a shipper fanfic... but non-shippy. Could actually be very interesting. I'll control myself.

Noooo Scotty and Lilly were not in their PJs Scotty came out of HIS room with Charlene and Lilly was walking past them to go to HER room and she was in her clothes not PJ Sorry I didn't see PJs, I'll look again, but I know Scotty was not in his PJs. I thought it was a good story; I'm not much of a Country person, but it was good. I did figure out who it might have been. For the first time I finally figured out who it was

Corrected Scotty wasn't in his PJ's but Lilly was. She was wearing some pokadot shirt, long track pants, with a long sweater. I assumed that was were PJ's .
I think Lilly had realized that it might not be so terrible to be single, after what Scotty had said. She wants to be loved but like Scotty they both never seem to find the one they are looking for, instead devote all their time to their jobs.

Or maybe it could be one of those lounger around type thing she wears to relax when not working? I don't think it was PJs.

I want to get to sleep early tonight, so I won't post much for now too. Still, I must say that Lilly just seemed so much more "relaxed" (if that's the right word) in this episode than I've ever seen her in the entire series. I can't put my finger on it exactly right now without looking at the episode again. But I think it may have something to do with getting out of Philly and visiting that old courthouse in Knotsville. It really seems like somethings stirring within her now (even moreso than that smile at the end of "Lonely Hearts"), and Kathryn's bringing something new to the character.

I gave this episode a good, a surprising good considering the country music. The fact that it was the addict who killed Truck, didn't surprise me at all. One gripe though. They could've given them better names. Now to wait for Joe Aspartame, Jimmy Splenda, and the murder of Mrs Dash.

Maybe Lilly's realizing that being alone might not be in fact such a bad thing. She is learning to be content with herself, find out what really makes her happy.
Or maybe it's what I have been saying : Lilly is slowly finding happiness in herself or perhaps it's getting close to christmas and she's in good sprirts due to the holiday

This has got to be the first episode that I didn't know who the killer was, good storyline and then flashbacks were a lot longer then usual.

This one is definitely getting another excellent from me. If for nothing more than that excellent hotel scene that everyone is talking about (for the record, I agree with those who think that Lil was in her PJs. She was certainly wearing slippers). I wasn't sure how this one was going to go. I was hoping that it would be great, but I was worried that it would fall flat. It surprised me throughout the hour. Who would have thought that we would get an awesome bonding scene between Lil and Scotty that had nothing to do with the case??!! And then there was the case, which was interesting, had plenty of plausible suspects, and made sense in the end. Sometimes, it's as simple as the drug addict wanting the extra cash so he can get his daily fix. I liked the simplicity of it. I also liked the way that Truck ended up being a really good guy. He was happy with who he was, and he wasn't going to let a music career take that away from him. He stood up for what he believed in and in the end, he didn't abandoned the people who meant the most to him. He and Edie were perfect foils of each other. The big, successful pop artist had traded her soul to get her fame, while Truck died knowing that he was the stronger person who stayed true to himself. I couldn't agree more here, boxman. Kathryn showed an entirely different side to Lilly tonight. I was so impressed with her during that hotel scene. She was adorable and she didn't let Scotty get off without getting a hard time. It was all in good fun, but it was certainly his turn after all of the ripping he had been doing on her personal life (MCRay, Joseph). I also liked it when the scene shifted from playful to more serious and almost somber as the two detectives discussed their possible lonely futures. I think it was nice for Lilly to hear her thoughts from someone else, especially ladies man Scotty. For me, this scene is an insta-classic and proof that this show should delve more into the lighter, more personal sides of the relationships between these detectives. While I was watching this episode, I had a random thought. Danny Pino starred in Flicka alongside Tim McGraw. I wonder if this is how Tim's music wound up in this episode. Interesting. Overall, another strong episode this season. I'm beginning to get used to this, and I like it! As always, more thoughts, caps and that hotel scene at Pass the Remote. (Sorry to be all Eurache-like and double post on you guys (you know I love you Eurache). I just wanted to let you know that I had that scene for those who wanted to see it.)

After Lilly listened to Scotty talk about the possiblity of being alone, did anyone catch the wheels turning her head. That she may want to be in love but maybe it isn't possible. Scotty and Lilly are alike in that fact that they want someone to love but nothing ever worked out to be. But he accepts it and Lilly might be slowly grasping that as well.
Ramdom Thought: Was Lilly kind of flirting with Scotty the way she said " Scotty Valens "? Anyway it was kinda of cute.
Last thought: Oh yeah I loved that long sweater that Lil was wearing now I'm going to look for it myself

This was difinitely shipper heavy for those that have waited 4 years. It was nice they acknowleged it for those fans. Maybe this will open up a more personal storyline with the two? not necessarily love but closer in friendship? maybe not. never can tell how they bring stuff up and then that's it.
I think its funny we've talked about cops not being able to have a personal life. (I've stayed spoiler free this season so didn't know this would be brought up in an ep)
Nice tie in for Lilly going to the city where she and MCMan were going to tie the knot.
The case I really need to look at. I kinda got distracted by the detectives in both locations and then confused the three guys in the band. But I still thought it was a good ep and something different. I gave it an excellent.

Maybe this is the start of a deeper closer friendship btwn Lilly and Scotty. They are both comfortable around each other, not an ounce of nervousness.
I totally agree that this episode was for all of the shippers like me..

It was a pretty good episode and we see Lilly and Scotty more at ease around each other.
But hearing Lilly call the Commanding officer, "Big Daddy" was absolutely priceless...
I am quickly becoming a country music goose...
I should go out and get measured for a cowboy hat right now...
Watching last year's ACMA awards to see Kathryn Morris introduced me to Rascal Flats and now that group has made the crossover to the popular music charts... and now the music of Tim McGraw...
maybe a quick trip to Nashville is now in order...
