Naj - to make the text bigger try pressing CTRL and + together. This should make the font bigger. I will try it next time I'm in Mozilla! T/Y Electrophile, Oh, okay. I do know how to do that. I was wondering if there was another way but that must be the best way. T/Y!

First off, I would use this program to do all your uninstalling: www.revouninstaller.com/It run's the default uninstall, but also deletes the stuff that it leaves behind, which is often what takes up the most room. Here's what I would remove (obviously, if you use one of these regularly, just ignore): I would get rid of the following: 123 Free Solitare Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 Comcast Toolbar Dell Support Dell Support Center EducateU Learn2 Player MSN Netscape Browser Search Assistant URGE (if it's the music service, it doesn't exist anymore) URL Assistant Viewpoint Toolbar WebCyberCoach 3.2 Dell Yahoo Install manager 2. Update to the latest Mozilla Firefox. 3. When E and F drives are showing "full", do you have CDs with contents on them in the drives? 4. For your D drive, go to Users > Public, and make sure all those folders are emptied.

Actually, I just checked my own. It will always show as being 'full' when you don't have anything in the drive because the drive doesn't inherently have any space of its own to store anything. It only functions when you place a disk in the drive. Double click "D" to open the folder, and see if there is a "users" folder in there (I'm operating off Vista, so it may not be the same for both of us, I'm just guessing.) I'll do a bit more research on D.

In a nutshell, can someone describe the difference between: 1. Flash Drive 2. External Drive and the pro's and con's of each.

Flash drive is generally a lot smaller, and has less memory. I believe the highest storage capacity you can get is either 16 or 32 GB. Flash drives are small, and are now pretty inexpensive (I believe you can get an 8GB one for $2-$30) There are some that are extremely durable. (I have one that's been in the washer a few times, and it still works.)
Pros
+ Small + Inexpensive + Portable + Durable
Cons
- Can get lost easily - Just because it's durable, doesn't mean it's unbreakable - Not ideal if you have a lot of stuff to store.
An external harddrive is simply put, a hard-drive that hooks up to your computer via a USB cable. External HDs can have a lot of memory (Up to 1.5 TB I believe, which is a lot larger than a GB) They can be a bit more expensive ($60-$300 give or take)
Pros
+ Lots of memory! + Ideal if you wish to copy your music and video libraries + Reasonably priced
Cons
- Not ideal if all you have are documents - Not as durable as a flash-drive - They can be expensive

In a nutshell, can someone describe the difference between: 1. Flash Drive 2. External Drive and the pro's and con's of each. Flash drives and external drives are essentially the same things, it's just a matter of price and size. Both function as devices used to store things off your computer's main hard drive. Flash drives are cheaper than external drives because they're smaller both size-wise and capacity-wise and can be hooked on to key chains or lanyards. They're better for holding documents and photo files and smaller music files. The cons would be they can be easy to misplace if you don't know where you keep them and they can't hold as many GB of information as maybe you might need. External hard drives are plugged into your computer via USB cables much like you would attach your iPod or keyboard/mouse if you're not on a laptop. This would be more beneficial if you download movies or large projects and need the expanded room. The cons would be they are expensive and can be prone to breaking/malfunctioning if not stored or transported properly.

TRB and Electrophile
So if my operating system crashes on my C drive, my external hard drive is unaffected?

TRB and Electrophile So if my operating system crashes on my C drive, my external hard drive is unaffected? If the external hard drive is not connected to the computer at the time, I don't believe it would be affected. Whatever is on the external hard drive would still be there. Once you'd then re-install your OS and re-install any software that comes with the external hard drive, you should be able to then plug it back in, go to My Computer and see that it is connected and then double-click on it to view the files. You should be aware though, that external hard drives can crash just like the hard drive on your computer can. Which is why you should manually back up whatever you put on to it...about 4 times a year. Get some DVD-R discs and burn your files to them. Keep them in a safe place where they can't be damaged or lost. The reason I stress this is because while if the device has a warranty, it can be fixed....often times though, you will lose whatever you had on it.

I need some help, this is actually to do with Photobucket, not computers but this is the only place I thought was appropriate for it. If I try to upload mutiple photos on photobucket, it gets stuck on one number all the time. For example it will say:
1 OF 5 - 23%
It stays like that for hours and I have to get out of it. Also, one photo takes around 40 minutes to upload. It's not the photos, I've tried many diff photos and they will not work at all. Help please!

The best thing I can tell you is sign up at Imageshack instead. I've heard of so many people having problems at Photobucket for one reason or another, that I don't even advocate people using it anymore. Maybe you can use a different browser and see if that helps? I wish I could be of more assistance on this matter.

Oh, Imageshack, I have it, but don't know what to do. Do you just upload photos at the home page, then what? How do you get the links?

Oh, Imageshack, I have it, but don't know what to do. Do you just upload photos at the home page, then what? How do you get the links? On the site's main page, you will see an area to upload photos. You can either upload from your hard drive or from an url. If you're uploading from your hard drive, click "Browse" and then find the picture in whatever folder your pictures are in. Click "open" and you'll see it in that bar next to the "cancel" and "browse" buttons. Once you have a photo selected, click " start upload". When the photo is uploaded, you'll be taken to another page that will provide the links for you.

I was about to ask you what your internet speed is, because that can play a huge factor as well. I've yet to have any problems with photobucket though, so...

Thanks so much. You helped alot! Excellent! You can also sign up for free at Imageshack and when you're logged in, any image you upload will be saved to your "My Images". From the "My Images" page, you can also upload multiple images at once. There will be a sidebar on the right-side of the screen and below "upload image" is "upload multiple images".
