Another problem, I have been having it for ages. I try to upload photos from my camera, they dnt work. I upload photos I get off the internet, they work. The Rev.B told me to get out of everything and then try uploading. Still doesnt work, I have to uplaod one at a time, and it takes like 20 minutes to upload one. How do I kake it faster? Pics of the internet take 1 mins to do 5, yet it takes 20 minutes to do 1 off my camera.

Do you use a usb wire to connect your camera to your computer, could be a software problem or a faulty wire. Did you ever try using the camera card to connect, if that doesn't work could be a machine problem?
Perhaps it's your computer, might have to adjust some settings.

I have tried the USB and Card. It could be a problem with the USB Ports, one of them might not be working correctly.

lillyscotty As usual I have a few questions first: Are you uploading the photos to your computer or directly to web via computer? What filetyp does your camera use for storage - jpg, tiff or raw? (My guess though is jpg) What (pixel) size do they have?
To explain: Judging speed of uploading pictures from whatever source is hard, if not knowing anything about the filetyp and size of the pictures, and where to you're uploading. For example photos from my camera have mostly something around 1.6 MB, after editing and making ready for web the picture size is down to some KB only (no need for high quality or big pictures most of the time, and ev. stripping lot of useless data, you don't even see, so called exif data). Now that is the difference of transporting a huge package or a letter up to my flat. The letter I would do with ease, the package might take somewhat longer and some more breath. Makes a different as well, if I have to carry that package through all of town or just up the stairs.

What does "make compliation CD" mean? When I put my CD into the F Drive it asks for different options of what I wish to do; play cd, compilation cd, rip Cd, Copy CD. etc.,

A compilation CD is simply a CD with tracks done by more than one artist, or in some cases, tracks by a single artist, but the tracks are from different albums.
Various artist compilation and Best of compilations.

Ok, they are jpg. This is what I do, I click on the photo so you see it bigger, the I right click and click SAVE TO MY PICTURES. Usually I have to rotate the picture. Most of the time it ranges from 452 KB to 1.50 MB. Does it have anything to do with that?

Or do you do that in Explorer? Have you tried uploading first the picture from the directory (either usb drive or card drive, if you have the latter) onto your computer? Do you know how you can move and copy files in Explorer? Editing you can and I think should do afterwards, like rotating the picture.

I upload them into Explorer. I think I didn't explain it well. I get them of the USB, save it in my pictures, then go to facebook and upload them straight away. Dont know anything about copying files. It's just, photos from the interent I save, upload easy, but ones from my camera dont.

I think I might know the problem. You need to resize the images, especially the ones that are 1.50 MB

Agree with Rev on that. Not the connection between camera and computer seems to be the problem, but the size of the pictures. Pictures you use from the web are usually already edited and web ready, have a size (kb) already good for up- or download.
Guess, I should look for a nice, short tutorial for simple editing pictures to upload to web photo albums?

I use a usb cable that connects my camera to my computer, I don't have any problems. lillyscotty- There should be a setting on your camera to change the picture sizes, I have on my camera.

Mm, my camera isn't very updated, just a pretty cheap one. How can I resize it on the laptop? What size exactly?

Didn't think I'd have to use this thread for help, but... So I bought myself a 26" HDTV for my room. I've hooked up my XBox360 to the TV via a HMDI cable. Now, I have it hooked up, but I what I need to know is, which channel do I put the TV on? I'm also trying to look online, but I'm not having any luck. EDIT: Disregard this! I finally figured it out.

Okay this should be obvious for me to find and fix - but I am looking and looking and I don't see where to fix it. I was in Firefox and something happened and now all my print is very very very very small. Now I would think I should be able to go to VIEW and choose Print Size or Zoom or something and there is nothing, How do I fix this? There is no way anyone can see print that small, you know the print they show in the optomitrist's office the very last tiny itty bitty line of print they ask you to read.

While I'm awaiting expert advice on yesterday's post I have another question. I was running disk optimization on my Norton 360 and it states I have 113 programs and that maybe I should take a look and delete some. The ones that are left are things I don't exactly know. BUT how do I copy that page to post everything here for someone to take a look. This is in my ADD/DELETE part of my programs list.

It's really easy - press Fn+Prnt Scrn at the top of your keyboard. You should see it right above the F10 key or somewhere nearby. Then open up an image editing program like MS Paint or PhotoFiltre or Photoshop and then save it as a jpg. Upload it to Imageshack and post the url for the image here. Then we can see what programs you're looking at.

When you say there is nothing, does that mean when you to View-->Zoom there is no text there or that doing that does nothing to fix it? Try CTRL+0 and see if that helps. I know on my sister's Macbook when you futz with the font size, doing that resets it to normal levels.

Naj - to make the text bigger try pressing CTRL and + together. This should make the font bigger.
