Thanks for the interview, LII2! He seems to be a very decent and nice man and his way to describe the relationship between him and Lilly was pretty good, in my opinion. But there's one thing he mentioned that I somehow can't imagine to happen: Lilly visiting her father and his "new" family. Maybe they'll let that happen and do it very well, but at the moment I just can't imagine these scenes. But anyway, we'll see how it turns out.

:] Btw I know It's too soon but I've been thinking this season's finale has to be so good... I would like a relatively old case because the last finales are from recent years 2005 and 2006... I hope it's something exciting I ditto that... ;D My biggest CC dream is if they're making an old case, as in 1900-09

I agree with you, the older the better. The 30's or 40's case would be a good thing esepcially for a season finale.

I want a case from 1930s and/or 1940s so bad but I would not like them as season finale...Season finales usually are exciting and If the case is that old, there would be less witnesses and I mean, I love older cases but not as season finales... for finales I prefer 1970- present However, what I was saying to pixie is that a case from 1900 would be extremely old and unreal... Let's check "Torn" I loved it but there was only 1 witness and the same happened in "Beautiful Little Fool"... If it's older than that I'd rather it'd be only for few years(1915-1918) more than that, no plz

1915-1918 could work, but they could follow the clues that could lead to a confession from a long time ago; on paper or either leading them up to where they had hid the weapon.

Seasons 1,2,3 had 23 Season 4 had 24. Season Five due to the strike had only 18. It doesn't sound fair, we should have one more episode. Let's just hope that the season finale is in old case and not a recent one!!!

The last 3 seasons have had really new cases/Warm cases

Found this off of IMDB
Another Twitterer named @kickingtires shared the news that Pearl Jam's "Ten" will be featured in a "Cold Case" two-parter in May (that's what this marketing press release indicates).

hdnwkdnw!
That news is awesome, because I love most of the songs on that album, and now I want to listen it!
Oh and I'm going to make a wild guess and say that the following will be involved. (based on the style of music and the lyrical themes.)
Troubled teenager(s) Troubled person/people Child abuse
(or maybe it'll be slightly influenced by the Mamasan trilogy.)

The CBS drama "Cold Case" will use 16 Pearl Jam songs in the show's two-part May season finale. A number of the songs will be from the group's 1991 debut album, "Ten." On May 3 and 10, the band's music will be used exclusively to tell the story of a female cadet who was murdered at a military academy in 2005. The case brings up difficult memories for Lilly Rush (Kathryn Morris), a detective with the Philadelphia Police Department. "The breadth of the Pearl Jam catalog captures not only the spirit of alienated youth, but narrates that journey to adulthood...
Jennifer Johnson, one of the show’s executive producer and the co-writer (with Greg Plageman) of the episodes, said in a statement. "It was the perfect accompaniment for Rush's origin story -- told in flashbacks -- of how and why she became the first female homicide detective in the PPD." Which 16 Pearl Jam songs will be used has not yet been determined. featuresblogs.chicagotribune.com/entertainment_tv/2009/03/pearl-jam-cold-case-cbs.html

Hey for all we know it could turn out to be a very good one, especially with all Lilly's backstory added in to it.
