 Of course this all supposes that Tania will be playing someone that young. There is no reason so far to think that. Actors often play outside their actual age. OK, normally this is people in their 20s playing teens (probably for legal and ability reasons) and people in there 40-50s playing much older. We'll just have to wait and see.

Agreed, RichE. Actors play older (or younger) roles all the time, and if they felt she's right for the role, her age shouldn't have to stand in the way. Just going by the photos she has up on IMDB... if I hadn't been informed of the fact beforehand, I would never have clocked her as twenty... so, I'd imagine, had the age never been mentioned in the article, it may not have been something people not in-the-know would've actively noticed. Of course, I'm fortunate enough to have never seen any of her previous work, and I'm thereby going into her role on CC completely blind... so, as is often the way with actors some people are familiar with and some aren't, I imagine it's far easier for me to be impartial than for others who already have 'experience'.  |

It should make it easier to come at Tania clean, as it were. Certainly seeing an actor grow up in various roles means you carry the "baggage" of their previous characters with them. We see it all the time with those that have appeared in various soap operas and gone onto dramas or films. People like the one who's name we shall not say Michelle Gellar or Kristin Davis (to pick two very nice examples  ) were basically unknown to those of us in the UK prior to their roles in Buffy and SATC respectively. If we'd been so familiar with their earlier soap work it might have made us look at them differently. |

I took the liberty of updating the Cold Case episode page on Wikipedia with the information about upcoming episodes. Nothing that would give away the "whodunit" of the case, just the basic episode summary. If anything changes based on what I read here, I'll go back and clean it up.

I read on a French news website that Lilly and Scotty's new love interest will fight (over work or Scotty, they don't say!) but I am really not sure it can be trusted... |
