Niiiice! Thanks. I have a feeling I'm gonna get a lot of use out of that one in this thread. Crap. I should have posted conditions to go along with it. d'oh. lol. Well now I know we'll never be best-friends-forever, Vodka is a thing of beauty I tell ya! Not that I'm a drunkard or anything but it has the power to enhance any drink! haha. Oh, yankee. How little you know me. Um.. how scared should I be here, boxman? cellogal - Those are my exact thoughts on it as well. I, too, was a little angry at Lilly at first for spitting it out the way she did but as you said, I think it was necessary. Lilly has seen the effects that Elisa's death had on Scotty first hand. She knows he needed to deal with it sooner or later. But still, she's a bit of a hypocrite. Look at how many times Scotty has tried to get her to face her demons but constantly gets shut down...("The Road" - "Must not be sleepin'..." "You comin' or not?" )

I, too, am puzzling about Lilly asking Scotty about Elisa. I can't decide whether it was ballsy/hypocritical or ballsy/necessary. Probably some of both. Lil, as so many have said, clearly has unresolved issues about, well, basically everything, so it's extremely hypocritical of her to point out to Scotty that he hasn't resolved Elisa's death yet, and for her to basically accuse him of taking the case seriously just because of his particular set of baggage, especially when she's been known to do the exact same thing. And she was ignoring evidence, which the Lilly Rush I know would never do. On the other hand, it may be that she was just trying to force Scotty to look within and make sure that he was sticking with this case because of the case and the evidence, not just because of his Elisa baggage. That's something a good friend does: forces you to take a look at your motives and make sure they're as they should be. I personally believe she is the ONLY one that could have said that to him and gotten away with it. Well, maybe Stillman. I was thrilled that Elisa's name was mentioned, but jaw-on-the-floor shocked at the way Lilly just dropped it out there. A very interesting scene. it definitely was interesting, yup. i kinda wish lilly had believed scotty in his feeling that the death wasn't suicide, just to support him, you know? but i think this was something that scotty needed to believe on his own, search for the truth and on that quest, resolve some issues of his own. like i mentioned earlier, a scotty-centric episode and a good one. gosh, i can't wait for the finale!!

i think that we see the situation how we want to see it, in shipper-eyes if we're rooting for team scotty/lilly or simply just friendship if that's how we view it. the two of you are probably going to continue to disagree until SOMETHING big happens in the show to sway one of you hehe. for me, personally, i'm hoping for something in the scotty/lilly ship direction! but we'll have to see. only one more episode! gah, i loved worried scotty. totally played that glance over and over and over again! and in the woods. and stalker. ohhhh, i love stalker! only pushed my scotty/lilly love to the edge and over!!!!!

A shipper can giveth... and a shipper can taketh away ;D That you did but that first pic is from "The Woods" so ahhhh you see that panic has occurred more than once And yeah, I suppose I'd freak if my friend were in that situation, but the passionate rage that is bubbling up in Scotty in that scene is so very telling .... "If you hurt her, George, I'll murder you." Like he wouldn't give two craps about the repercussions of taking the guy's head off instead of trying to arrest him if he were to touch a hair on Lilly's head. *sigh* heehee...yep qirjanran, til one of us is swayed

I think part of Scotty's problem is that he blams himself, stemming from childhood people always blaming him for their problems when it isn't his fault. He needs to stop blaming himself for what happened to Lilly, she's alive and well. Quite frankly I think at this point it's Lilly that going to need to help Scotty, she seems to be doing better then he is. Perhaps if the two acutally get into an arugment and yell quite possible they would be admitting things that are true about the two of them.
The story that I'm working focuses on that, even my other story deals how their minds work. I'm finding that Lilly and Scotty really have a lot in commen thought they grew up in different towns and families. If they find out the key to their unhappiness and try to help each other quite possibly they can get together.
As a shipper I'd be happy with a hug or a simple kiss on the cheek or forehead, nothing further than that. It shows everything but not to the point it could ruin the show, since it could be protrayed in a friendship kind of way.

A shipper can giveth... and a shipper can taketh away ;D I'm sorry... I know I should be leaping in to defend my fellow non-shipper... but... ...uh, not to re-name this the "Random Over-Use Of Smileys" thread or anything.

Oh, Collider! I thought we were tight! I'm sorry! I got caught up in the moment!! I'm not entirely sure what the moment was, but I got caught up in it nonetheless!! Here, have a gift-basket of smileys that don't have the word 'shipper' anywhere on them... *stops abusing the smileys now... honest*We Now Return You To Your Regularly-Scheduled ShipperWars.

I will always be a shipper but the only think I see if Lil and Scotty do get together is a hug or a simple kiss nothing more. Somehow the show doesn't seem to be going down that path at all.

Well I'd like a little more than a hug but a simple kiss would do quite nicely! And maybe a few words, ya know, to round it out. ;D You just had to say it didn't ya? And just for you, yankee...

So now we have to employ the services of Photoshop to make our point? I'm disappointed, I thought you had enough faith in your beliefs to present them without manipulation... This is all I have to say to that photo...
